When you opened your eyes again, you were in a different location. From your surroundings, you can only tell that you're in an underground cave.
"Thank you Bill." You thought in your mind. You didn't know if Bill can hear it or not but you did so anyway.
You started to walk along the cave, trying to listen to any sounds made by the group.
Just like that you hear a conversation, you speed towards the sound and heard it.
"I apologise for the state of things, I don't get many non-mold people visitors. Now that beast must have some weakness that we can exploit, I use to have my research on him but alas I lost my journals so much years ago." You heard a voice of an old man.
"Did you say journals?" you recognize Wendy's voice asking someone, but it sounded more like a statement.
"Dude, I found one of them! That's how I track you down here." A cheerful girlish voice who belongs to Dipper said.
"No! Don't you dare take that journal out!" you warned in your mind, hoping Dipper doesn't do just that. You ran quicker and finally see three figure in view.
"Dipper! Don't you dare give him that journal!" you shouted a warning.
You see Dipper jump from your warning and so did the other two figure. "What? (Y/N)? Why? He's the author." Dipper asked and showed you the man beside him.
You ran and stood in between them, making some distance from the man and the three of you. Wendy was just sitting on the ground while doing something.
"He is not the author." You stated coldly and glared at him. Your left hand was blocking Dipper from getting to the man while your right hand was reaching for your hidden weapons. "He's the shapeshifter."
"What? No he isn't!" Dipper yelled back and tried to run to the man but your hand was stronger. "He's the one who is hunting the shapeshifter."
Then you heard a gasp from behind and Wendy stood beside Dipper, "I think you should listen to (Y/N)..."
"What? You were fine with him just a few moments ago." Dipper said. You didn't take your eyes off of the man.
"Yeah, dude. Sorry, but that was before and this is now." Then there was a slight pause. "Dipper look." You guessed Wendy showed him something to help prove her point.
"Um... You know what, I think we should probably get going." Dipper nervously said, it did take you as a surprise but you didn't show it.
The man's eyes blinked sideways, then his neck grew longer. "You're not going anywhere!" he crawled onto the walls of the cave, his eyes growing white and some insert legs growing out of his body.
Wendy and Dipper screamed from the scene before them, it is shocking you had to admit but you've seen worse so you kept your calm blank face.
The shapeshifter then changed form, now it has six legs, one skinny arm the other was fat, reddish eyes, a mouth showing two pairs of fangs and four teeth. "How do you like my true form?" it asks with pride. "Go on, admit it. You like it."
"That part was a little bit like Bill..." you thought with an unamused look, and an image of Bill flash in your mind.
"To be honest, it's hideous." You stated without an emotion or feeling.
"You! What did you do to the real author!" Dipper shouted and pointed at the thing.
"You'll likely never find him. That six-fingered nerd hasn't been himself for 30 years." The creature said laughing.
Dipper growled in frustration, while you keened in on the creature's description of the author.
"So I was right, the author is six-fingered, and the author is a male, older than 30 years old. But what does it mean when it said 'he hasn't been himself'?" you thought. "Is the author still in Gravity Falls? He has to be or not how would this thing have known. I got to tell Dipper this when I get the chance!"
"Now how about you give me that journal..." the creature said nicely. "And I might let you live to see another day..."
"Come on! Run!" you shouted and they started running, you following from behind.
After some time, the creature was right behind you, though you were only using your below normal speed.
"That thing is faster than I expected." You laughed to yourself. You ran faster and saw Wendy and Dipper standing still. "What are you doing? Do you want to get killed?"
Wendy was hiding in one of the two tunnels while Dipper was panic thinking, you grabbed the torch from his hands and threw it into the other tunnel.
You quickly grabbed Dipper by the arm and pulled him into the same tunnel Wendy was in.
You silently watch as the creature ran into the other tunnel, following the torch.
You smirked, you waited until it was deeper into the tunnel and ran with Wendy and Dipper. They were in front of you.
You continued running until you watch Dipper and Wendy bump into two figures, who you know is Mabel and Soos.
"Dipper! Wendy! (Y/N)!" Mabel shouted.
"Mabel!" Dipper smiled but then took caution, and moved backwards with Wendy and you. "Wait! Careful... How do we know they're not the shapeshifter..."
“Now you be careful...” you thought.
"Maybe I am, Mabel expect my shape." Soos said and held his shirt up.
"Poke" Mabel poked Soos making him laugh.
"Do that again." And Mabel did. "Even better the second time."
"It's definitely them." You and Dipper said together with total non-amusement.
"What happened?" Mabel asked, and Wendy gave the summary of what happened. "What do we do?"
"Well, he took us into his home. Tricked us and tried to destroy us. I say we return the favor." Wendy said without fear or worry.
"Now this is something I can agree on." You nodded with a grin.
~Time skip~
You were standing there, leaning on the side of the cave while waiting for the twins to appear, you were playing with your dagger as well.
After a while, the twins came running and the creature close behind them. You prepared yourself just in case the creature catches up to them.
"Guys! He's coming! He's coming! Now! Now! Now! Now!" Dipper screamed as they ran behind you.
"It's not working dude!" Soos shouted.
The creature was now a mixture of Dipper at the top and Mabel at the bottom, which you find terribly disturbing, given that you kill people. The creature used it's tongue to get the journal from Dipper's hand.
"Hey! Let go!" Dipper said as he struggles against the creature's strength, holding on to the journal.
"You leave him alone!" Wendy shouted and helped Dipper. You also did but the creature got the journal. You lunge at the creature to get the journal back. "(Y/N)!"
As you raised your dagger up high to strike. Soos got the pipe working and the water just rushed at the creature and you in the process, you dropped your dagger as well due to the suddenness of the water.
You swam in the water until the water was all gone, leaving some puddles here and there on the cave floor.
You found the journal and took it, then you heard Dipper saying a bunch of weird stuff but to another you on the floor lying in front of him.
"Umm... Dipper? I'm pretty sure I don't have a twin..." you wanted to continue but didn't. “Well, not one that looks exactly like me.”
"What? Wait, (Y/N)? Then who is-" Dipper got cut off by the other you waking up and running towards you. "Look out!"
"Give me the journal!" the creature demanded.
"Never in your weak life!" you said.
You got pitted to the ground with the creature above you, you noticed it trying to get the journal which was above your head. "Get off me!" you kicked it out of you hardly.
You got up and hugged the journal. You and your double ganger started fighting hand to hand, it to get the journal and you to protect it.
