Hey guys I know this chapter is a bit late...but I hope the fluff in this chapter is enough to not make you kill me. Plus I've been going back to the previous chapters and fixing them up, so if you want to go back and scan through (or reread) that'll be nice. Plus I thnk I've change and added a few things. Welp ENJOY!!
Nathan’s POV
After fixing Grey a sandwich for a snack I sat him on the couch next to Bryce. Who then turned on a cartoon channel for him. Deciding that Grey was fine for a little bit with Marco still with the pack; I head upstairs to take a much needed shower. Even though I didn’t trust Marco with Grey indefinitely. I knew I could trust him enough to make sure Bryce didn’t put his slimy fingers on what was mine. Which was Grey.
Shortly, I soon make it up to my room, but instead of closing the door like I would normally do I decided to leave the door cracked. Just in case my little prince wanted to come up and take a nap. Since I was too tired, or lazy, to lay out some clothes for when I get out, I just went ahead and walked into the bathroom. I prepared the shower to a temperature I liked. Then stripped my clothes off. I hopped into the shower after checking to see if the temperature was right.
As I lathered at my body with a soap filled loofah, I couldn’t help but think about Grey, and how he was currently downstairs without me. I also remembered back to the conversation Maxine and I had the day before.
That night after I hung up the phone from the first conversation with Maxine I entered my house to the pack. I could remember their scent, as they gave off a concerned, and calming smell as Marco and I argued. Having told Marco I would actually think about being the Alpha wolf of the pack again, I went up to my room.
That's when Maxine called again, but this time more about Grey’s predicament and situation. She had said that she forget to mention that even though Grey hasn’t aged up in his wolf form, his body, and biology aged. I instantly understood what she meant when she said that. And couldn’t help but wonder why she was telling me.
She was basically telling me that Grey is old enough to go into heat. But with him still being basically a two month old wolf pup.
It was insane and tempting at the same time.
Maxine went on to say that she would always leave around the time Grey would go into his heat cycle. And then say she would only leave because she didn’t want the fact that she wasn't a supernatural to interfere with his growth as an actually growing teenager slash wolf pup.
But, I couldn't help the fact that I was going to have a wolf pup in my house that’s going into heat in the next three days or so was inviting, and scary at the same time. Not only do I not know when his heat starts, I also needed to talk to him about it.
And more importantly keep him away from the other's in the pack.
As soon as I was about to get out of the shower I heard people by my bedroom door. Since the water sprays from the shower was blocking out the words, I put my nose outside of the curtain to see if I could smell the scent of whoever it was. I could faintly smell Grey’s scent along with Matthews outside of my bathroom. I could tell it was Matthew with him from the way the boy let out an anxious scent.
Probably because he was surrounded by an alpha scent inside my room. Matthew was never good at hiding his fear of me. Even when I tried my best to make him feel comfortable. But I guess in his own time he'll stop being scared.
I pulled my face back into the curtain of the shower, since I didn’t feel the need to tell Matthew off. Since he was an Omega, and most of the time he’s gentle and quiet, I thought it was best to leave him with Grey.
At least that’s what I was thinking until I heard my bathroom door creak open further. I didn’t know if it was Grey or Matthew since I couldn’t pick a scent out from all of the smoke, and humidity of the hot shower. Luckily I didn’t have to since Grey was the one to speak.
“Daddy,” was all I could hear over the shower noise.
“Yes Princey,” I asked as I peeked my head out from behind the curtain.
I came face to face with a bright red Grey that held a blue teddy bear under his chin. It took all of my power not to grab him and give him pepper kisses all over. But that didn’t stop me from dreaming.
“Daddy, can I take a shower with you?”
As soon as the words left Grey mouth his face turned a darker shade of red, and his eyes moved to look at the floor. But that was nothing compared to the shock, that I was certain, was written across my face. I could feel the blood drain out of my body, and up into my face.
Out of everything I thought Grey would say, this was at the very bottom. I wouldn’t have thought that Grey was going to come in here to ask to join me in my shower, and I didn’t know if I wanted to take him up on that offer.
“Princey-” before I could say no Grey had looked up to me with the saddest, teary-eyed face anyone could have ever seen. I couldn’t help but say yes after the first tear slipped down his face.
Happy as ever, Grey bounced around the bathroom while taking all of his clothes off. Soon he was only covered by the small blueberry teddy bear that he held close to his chest. I pulled back the curtain so that Grey could hop in without much of a hassle. Before he could climb in I told him to keep blueberry on the sink counter so it wouldn’t get wet but the cries he was about to let out, changed my mind pretty fast at that.
So together Blueberry and Grey got into the shower with me. I moved over to let the two in. After standing under the shower head, and letting the water fall over us, I decided it was about time to actually clean off. As I moved to wash Grey’s hair with some of my shampoo the little leaned his head into my neck. Blocking me from his hair.
“What’s wrong Grey?” I asked. All he did was give a small shake of his head.
Grey and I stood like that for a few minutes and while doing so I started to bath his back instead of his hair. Soon Grey started to talk, and it seemed like he wasn’t in his headspace anymore.
“Hey um, Nathan?” Grey asked shyly as he moved his face sideway, on my shoulder. I could feel my breathing hitch a bit as Grey’s warm breath blew over my scent glands.
“Yes,” I replied, but that’s when Grey started to nuzzle himself up against my scent glands.
“I know my mom told you about th-the heat thingy, right?” I gave him a quick nod not knowing where this was going. But Grey didn’t say anything after that.
Actually I was scared because I couldn’t even hear Grey’s breathing after that. But before I could freak out, Grey started to left his head off my shoulder and wrapped his arms around me instead. By this time Blueberry was discarded on the shower floor, and partially forgotten.
“Grey, what’s going on?” I asked again, and this time Grey looked up at me.
“Nothing’s wrong,” he started before he moved his face to nuzzled into my neck again, “I've just never had this feeling before.”
I swear if I wasn’t a wolf I wouldn’t have heard what he said at all. Before I could say anything Grey leaned back into my neck again. “I might be going into heat early because of you.” he mumbled.
After five minutes of shower cuddling, I managed to wash Grey, and myself before climbing out. After wrapping myself with a towel I wrapped Grey in one of the larger towels that I had under my bathroom sink. These towels I bought a while ago only because they were so cute. It was a purple dino towel, that had the little triangular plates stitched on the back and a little hoody that had the face of a cute dinosaur.
Completely contempt with the blanket like towel, Grey walked out of the bathroom to lay on the bed. He didn’t want to move even when I tried to get him dressed. And during the process he seemed to have slipped back into headspace.
After I managed to get Grey into a pink bunny onesie I sat him down in the middle of the bed and turned towards him. I looked straight into Grey's frost like eyes and said,
“I think it's time for some rules,”
I know what you guys are thinking "Finally, we are going to hear about some rules!!" At least thats what I'm thinking your thinking. But I'm just loving Grey and Nathan XD!! Welp...Until I come back and change it...
