"Sakura...look at me!" I growled at her question.
"What can I give you? You can just turn down his offer."
"And let the others suffer?" Tanong niya. Umiling si Sakura.
"This needs to end."
"Putang-ina...Sakura, makinig ka naman." Sumabog na ang galit ko. I stand up and paced in front of her.
"Takashi is not good for you."
"Then do something... It's either you or him unless may pinsan ka pang papasa sa standards mo." Sagot niya.
"I need to talk to my dad." She said when I didn't answer her. Bumalik ako sa table ko na nanlalambot.
"Dad." Bati ni Sakura kay Tito Ayano.
"I heard about Takashi Yamamoto. Explained it to me, dad."
"Sakura... there was an agreement between my grandfather and Hana's grandfather." Simula ni Tito Ayano. He said the exact thing that Asahi told me. Including the alleged kidnap plot of my dad to him. He told her everything including how they became friends with my parents.
"I thought that agreement was off when I had a truce with Hiro. Turns out Hana's family is still holding that promise to us."
"I see. I understand dad." She replied calmly.
"Does it have to be Takashi? Meron pa bang ibang Yamamoto na pwede kong pagpilian?" Tanong niya pa.
"Si Kiro." Sagot ni Tito Ayano. Napatingin sa akin si Sakura.
Malungkot na ngumiti siya kay Tito Ayano. "Si daddy. Parang hindi niyo kilala si Kiro." Sagot niya.
"I will meet Takashi and see what will turn this out. I still have a choice to decline di ba?" Tanong ni Sakura.
"We are not forcing you, Sakura." Sabi ni Tito.
"I know. I just...I don't know, maybe I need to do something about it. Balitaan ko kayo. Pakisabi kay mommy, relax lang. I can handle this."
"Mag-iingat ka. Ikumusta mo ako kay Kiro."
"Okay po. Love you, dad."
"Love you, Sakura."
Natulala si Sakura sa kawalan after nilang mag-usap ng daddy niya.
"You are not serious about giving Takashi a chance, aren't you?"
Tumingin sa akin si Sakura. She shrugged her shoulder.
"As I said, I still have a choice not to. But I don't want the next generation to have this kind of problem. I will end this now." Sagot niya.
"Rest assured hindi kita pipikutin, Kiro." Sarcastic na dagdag nito.
She opened her laptop and do her work again. Effectively dismissing me.
Mabilis lumipas ang araw. Dalawang araw ng nakakulong si Sakura sa office/kwarto ko. She is just on her laptop the whole day. And at night, I am staring at her lovely face hanggang sa makatulog ako sa sofa. I can't shake the feeling that she is considering Takashi to marry her. It's not right...It's just not right.
On the third day, while Sakura is at the table I provided for her so she can work on whatever her report is, Takashi entered my office. Napatingin si Sakura sa pinsan ko. And Takashi gave her a smile.
"I was adviced that I can meet you here, Ms. Fujihara. I am Takashi Yamamoto." Pagpapakilala niya sa sarili niya. Ngumiti si Sakura at inabot ang nakalahad na kamay ni Takashi.
"Sakura Fujihara. Just call me Sakura." Formal na sagot ni Sakura.
"Then you can call me Takashi. May I invite you for a lunch today?"
"Where?"
"A restaurant nearby." Sagot ni Takashi.
"Let me get my bag." Tumayo si Sakura.
"No." Mabilis na sagot ko. Tumingin si Sakura sa akin.
"I'm okay, big bro. Will be back soon." Sabi nito.
"Asahi..." Sigaw ko ng makalabas sila Sakura sa office.
"Yes?"
"Follow them discreetly," I replied.
Naiiling na sumunod si Asahi.
She fucking called me big bro... Leche, Sakura...Inuubos mo talaga ang pasensya ko.
