*Tom's POV*
I wake up to (Y/N) asleep in my arms, and I smile to myself. It's been weeks, but I still can't believe we're dating. I quietly and gently move her so that I can get up. I put on a hoodie and sweatpants, and leave her a note telling her that I've gone to buy breakfast. I pull my hoodie up to hide my face in case I run into any paparazzi as I walk down the street. It's early here in LA, so thankfully there's not many people out and about. I enter the Dunkin Donuts on the corner, and buy a dozen donuts. Half her favorite kind, and half mine. I take the box from the lady and turn to leave the building. I stop dead in my tracks when I see him. Ty is standing right outside, eating a donut.
"Can you hold this for me real quick?" I ask the Dunkin employee quickly. She nods and takes the box in confusion, probably because she recognizes me as Spider-Man from the movies. I thank her, and walk to the door. I open it, and the heat of Los Angeles in the summer hits me like a wave of heat from an oven.
"Excuse me?" I cough. Ty turns his head to look at me, and it takes him a split second to recognize me. His eyes darken. He scoffs and shakes his head.
"Tom Holland. What a surprise. How's my girlfriend?" He asks, looking away from me rudely.
"She's not your girlfriend anymore." I grumble.
"Whatever. She was a useless slut anyways. I could do better." He rolls his eyes and finally looks back at me. My fists clench, but I try to hold it in.
"Don't call her that. Ever. She's an amazing girl." I defend.
"Ha! Wait a few months and she'll find some new guy to mess around with. You'll be no different than me." Ty states.
"You're full of shit. I'm nothing like you. I'm not an insecure asshole who beats on his girlfriends." I sass.
"What did you just say?" Ty asks angrily, but I know he heard me.
"I said, you're an insecure ass who beats on his girlfriends." I enunciate each word slowly.
"Fuck you, Tom! You're a fucking pussy. (Y/N) is probably off with some new guy right now while you're here defending her." Ty growls. A few people noticed the yelling, and pulled out their phones when they saw that I was involved. I pull back, knowing I can't do anything that would land me on TMZ or worse.
"Whatever." I calmly reply.
"See, you can't even stand up for yourself. Just enjoy my sloppy seconds. Remember that I fucked her first." He grins, and I lose it. I punch him hard in the face, breaking his nose with a clean 'snap'. He covers his face as blood pools from his nose into his hands. He comes at me, but I slide to the right and knee him in the stomach. He groans and falls over. Combat training for Spider-Man prepared me well. I walk inside the donut shop calmly, take the box from the wide eyed employee who witnessed the whole thing through the glass window, and walk back to the apartment building. I place the box on the counter, and walk into the bedroom to wake (Y/N). She's already awake when I enter however, and she smiles at the sight of me.
"I bought donuts. They're in the kitchen." I whisper. She grins and stands up. She hugs me tightly around the torso, and I hug back, resting my head on top of hers.
"By the way, I just finished checking my morning Instagram feed. Nice job kicking Ty's ass." She giggles.
"He deserved it." I mutter.
"I know. I love that you protected me. Thank you, Tom."
