"Hey, vro. How you holding up?" WiFi asked as he sat on my couch. I shook my head. "I'm fucking stressed, dude. I don't know what to do right now." I rubbed my eyes.
"What happen?"
I sighed. "I kissed K-- someone else." I almost told on myself. Nobody can know about us, not right now at least.
"Whaaat? You kissed another girl? Did Geneva find out?" His eyebrows arched.
I shook my head in an instant. "Hell nah. If she did, I'm pretty sure she'd break up with me."
"You sound like you don't care if she do."
I shrugged. "I honestly don't. I mean, I like her, but I just feel like I can't connect to her the way the other girl and I connected."
"How long you been dealing with this 'other girl'?"
"A while." I uttered in disbelief. I just realized how long Kehlani and I have been doing this shit; it really has been a while.
WiFi shook his head. "Damn nigga. Do you still want to be with Geneva?"
"Yeah, man, I do. But sometimes it feels like I don't because I got feelings for someone else." I admitted, shaking my head.
"You know what you need? Studio time. Come on, let's go see if Ski there." He damn near dragged me out of the house to the car before he sped off. What was weird was that I didn't even have a chance to protest; he just dragged me out.

"Aye Ski!" WiFi called out as we entered the studio. Ski looked up at us from behind the glass and gestured for us to come in. I opened the door and walked inside, with WiFi right behind me, as I went up to Ski and did our handshake. "Wassup, vro? What you up to?" I greeted him as the handshake ended. "Shiit, nothing, man. Just trying to think of a song I'm ready to record."
"Well, that's why we here, broski." WiFi said as he came up and put his arm over my shoulder. "X is having personal issues so I think he needs to record just to get out that energy."
Ski nodded his head. "Word, I feel it, yo. You got your lyric book?"
I shook my head. "Nah, this nigga here fucking dragged me out the house before I could do anything."
Ski laughed. "Well, vro, just record 'Look At Me' again. I need another take for it anyway, the last take sounded kinda robotic."
I nodded my head. "Alright, let me up in there." I walked into the recording booth and put on the headphones before motioning Ski to start the beat:

The beat ended and I took the headphones off, looking at Ski and WiFi. "Yo, how was it?" I asked them. They nodded their heads smiling like weirdos. Ski turned on the microphone, "Yeah, vro. Shit was perfect." I chuckled as my phone vibrated, indicating a text message. I turned the screen on and I saw a text from Geneva.

I turned my phone off and before I could slide it back into my pocket, it began to ring. I let out an annoyed sigh before seeing who it was, and Kehlani's name and picture flashed across the screen. I slid the green icon before holding the phone to my ear.
"Hey, what's up?" I said, walking out the recording booth. I signaled to Ski and WiFi that I was going outside and they nodded.
"Hey, I just woke up. I thought my dad and Janice were here?" Kehlani asked.
"Oh, um, yeah they went out to somewhere. They thought you'd want time to recover so they went out for a lil bit."
"Oh.. well can you come keep me company? I'm lonely." She laughed.
"Uh, yeah, sure. I'm just at the studio right now, so I'll be there soon."
"Alright. See you."
"Later." I hung up. I chuckled to myself before walking back into the studio. I knocked on the the wall to get Ski and WiFi's attention. "Yo, I gotta go. I got something to take care of but I'll be back later."
They nodded their heads. "Alright, vro. I'll send the download for the song later."
I nodded before throwing up the peace sign and leaving out of the studio. Luckily, the bus to take me home pulled up, and I caught it just in time. Once I got to my stop, I got off the bus and started walking to the house. Then I started to hear someone call my name.
"X!" A familiar girl's voice yelled out. I turned around with my eyebrows furrowed, and I saw Destinee running towards me. Fuck, I forgot about her ass. I groaned silently as she stopped in front of me. "Where the hell have you been? I heard you got a girlfriend now."
I shrugged. "Okay, and? What the fuck that got to do with you? You was never my girl."
She scoffed and rolled her eyes. "So, what? Was I just your hoe or somethin'?"
I tucked in my lips and nodded my head. "Yeah. Exactly."
Tears filled her eyes, but I didn't give a fuck. I just turned around and kept walking until I reached the house. I walked inside and closed the front door before jogging upstairs to Kehlani's room. I knocked on her door before opening it, seeing her laying on her bed on her phone. She looked up at me and smiled.
"Hey." She said. I chuckled as I walked over to her and sat down next to her on the bed. "What's up? How you feelin', jit?" I asked her.
"I'm starting to feel a little better."
I grabbed her hand and began to rub it. "How's your hip?"
"It only hurts when I walk or try to twist my body around to see something."
I nodded. "Well be careful." Silence fell between us, but she broke it.
"Jahseh." She said, causing me to look at her. "Lay with me."
I nodded before gently moving her over and laying next to her, wrapping my arm around her. "You comfortable?"
She nodded as she wrapped her arms around me. "Yeah, my side just hurts a little." She got quiet as if something came to her mind before she spoke again. "Jahseh, do you love her?"
"Geneva?"
She stale-faced me, causing me to laugh. "No, your auntie. Who else?"
"I mean, I don't know honestly. I feel like I haven't been dating her that long to get to the point where I know her as a real person. I want to see how she really is, so that I can know she's actually someone I can love."
She frowned. "Well, as long as you're happy with her---"
"Don't. Do that." I cut her off before angling myself more upright. "As of right now, I am here with you, and I'm only focusing on you."
She laughed as she rolled her eyes. "So what? You're in Romeo mode now?"
I hovered myself over her and chuckled. "Yup. Dost' thou, fair maiden, want to capture my lips with thou's sweet lips?" I said in my British accent.
She laughed at my accent before going along with it. "Indeed I do, pilgrim."
I leaned down and gently placed my lips on hers, slowly starting the kiss. She tugged on my shirt a little bit before pulling it off of me, leaving me shirtless. I carefully took off her camisole, and then I slid her shorts down. I began to kiss her from her lips to her neck to her chest to her stomach; all the way until I got face to face with her rose.
I looked up into her eyes as I moved her panties to the side flicked my tongue on her rosebud. She moaned softly as I continued to slowly increase my speed. I added my finger and I started to finger her and lick her at the same time, driving her wild. "Jahseh." She moaned as she softly tugged at my hair.
The moment was interrupted by the door being closed downstairs, causing us to jump up quickly. Richard and my mom's voices were heard down there, making us gasp in fear. I quickly put my shirt back on and helped Kehlani get dressed again before placing myself in my old spot sitting next to her.
"Act natural, act natural." I quickly whispered to her. A few seconds later, her bedroom door opened, and my mom walked in smiling.
"Aw, you two are having a bonding moment, aren't you?" She giggled. I playfully rolled my eyes.
"I was just keeping her company, she didn't want to be alone when she woke up."
She nodded her head. "Well, you can go now if you want to, son. I'll keep her company now."
I nodded my head before looking at Kehlani. "Ok. Well, see ya later, kid." I ruffled her hair trying to play it off before getting up and walking out of her room, letting out a deep breath.
That was too fucking close.
