When will I hear the sweet sound of Your flute?
For it seems that my spiritual ears are on mute!
O when will my ears hear Your calling
For I can even do the crawling,
For I don't mind the burdens,
The hurdles and material burns
For they are just temporary manifestation
Of Your causeless mercy
Of Your unlimited loving sensation
For my legs are broken
And I've to cross over this sea
To reach Your sweet lotus Feet!
I just need to reach Your sweet lotus Feet!
Oh this bird of my heart
That's been giving me life all along!
Has decided to fly around and halt in my throat!
There it seems to reside,
Trying to find a way out!
I don't know how to hold it in!
Without seeing Your moon-like face!
Oh I have to cross over this sea
As fast as I can!
But sadly I can't
With legs so broken!
