I was wiping the windows when I notice the familiar cherry red Jaguar pull up.
Nia was inside the car.
She pecked him on the lips before getting out.
" the fuck" I thought to myself.
So many thoughts were running through my mind.
How could she take this nigga back after he beat the shit out of her.
The dude had the nerve to smirk at me before he pulled off.

" yo Nia" I said making her stop in her tracks.
" so y'all back cool now?"
She didn't even look up at me when I questioned her.

I knew she was trippen. this was his way of controlling her.

She slowly reveal her beautiful face. I ain't see no bruises though.
" why ma, he ain't gone treat you right if he didn't the first time"

This was some bull, I swear.

I stop from where I was.

Shorty was really fronting. This was not her just last weekend.

I nodded my head feeling frustrated.

I had nothing left to say.
Deep down I know I should be fighting for her friendship but being through the shit I been through it was useless.

I can't believe I just did that.
After talking to Rock. I knew our friendship was over with.
Ashton gave me no choice.
It all took place last night.
He told me I shouldn't be hanging around a criminal.
I didn't know what he was talking about , so I just let it go over my head.
But then he mention Rock.
He threaten to me that if he were to see me talking to him. He would kill Rock and make me watch it.

" no I'm just tired" I said fake yawning.

I just wanted to get away from everything at this point.
I log into my computer going straight to my email.
One of them caught my attention.
It was one of the mental-health center reaching out to me.
They agreed on allowing me to do an interview.
That was about the only thing to put a smile on my face at the moment.
I quickly responded back setting up a time and date to interview.

Afterwards I hung the phone.
I sooo badly wanted to go home and get away from everything.
Around lunchtime I stopped by Subway to grab me something to eat.
Luckily Ashton was caught in some work that he couldn't make it to lunch.

I looked to the entry where Rock was coming through laughing with one his buddies.

I quickly turn my attention back to the young girl.
" oh sorry could you also add some banana peppers and that would be it"
" ok your total is 5.80"

Rock and his friend was behind two people but I still heard them since the place is not all that big.

Once I got in my car I looked through the windows of subway to see him staring right at me.
