"Our party is in two days. Do you have any idea what you want to do?" Yoongi asks.
"Not a clue, you?" I ask as I hang upside down on Yoongi's bed.
"I don't know either. I was thinking maybe something small. You invite some friends, I invite some friends, and we just hang." Yoongi says.
"Oh, friends ay? So a bunch of guys?" I grin as I flip off of his bed.
"All off limits. Same goes for your friends." Yoongi says and I make a face.
"But if your friends bring friends. That means-"
"Still a no."
I glare at him.
"You can talk to girls without me stopping you so why is this any different?" I ask.
Yoongi looks stumped by my question.
"Exactly." I say.
"I guess you can talk to the guys if they bring friends but I can't promise I won't say something to them." Yoongi says.
"Okay, I'll take what I can get." I say and he laughs and leans back in his chair.
"You're going to tell me whenever you get a boyfriend, right?" Yoongi then asks.
"Hmm, I don't know. If I told you I'd probably end up not having one anymore." I say and he smiles, trying to stifle a laugh.
"You're probably correct." He says and I laugh and fall forward, falling onto his knees.
"Have you had a girlfriend before?" I ask as I look up at him from where I was.
"I have." He confirms.
"And did you two do stuff?" I ask, wiggling my eyebrows.
"Wouldn't you like to know." He says I start to laugh and he does too.
"Really though, What is it like to be in love?" I ask as I sit up and sit criss cross in front of him.
"Hmm, well..I guess it's pretty great. Mostly, it sucks." He says and I tilt my head to the side.
"Why is that?" I ask.
"You spend most of the time afraid of the day they'll wake up and decide they don't want you anymore." Yoongi says.
I stare at him, blinking.
"Honey, who hurt you?"
Yoongi shakes his head and laughs.
"I'm just speaking from what I've heard. I've only been in love once and it wasn't as great as it was made out to be. Things change." He says, something within his eyes I didn't understand.
"Maybe you just weren't with the right person." I say.
Yoongi looks at me and shrugs.
"Maybe that's true." He says.
"I hope one day I can experience true love too." I sigh as I lean my head against my palm.
"I'm sure your time will come eventually." Yoongi says.
I scoff as I look over at him.
"Yeah, in my dreams." I say and he smiles and nods.
"Yeah, probably."
I shake my head and fall back onto the ground and stare up at the ceiling.
One day..
I'll find someone and I'll fall madly in love.
I just hope that day comes sooner than later..
...
"Happy birthday!!" My best friend Jiwoo smiles as she hugs me tightly.
"Thank you." I smile as I hug her back.
The day was finally here and I was beyond happy.
Yoongi had invited his friends and I had invited mine and we all decided to hang at Yoongi's and drink a bit.
"Yoongi has some pretty cute friends. You should mingle tonight." Jiwoo grins.
"You know I can't." I sigh, referring to our rules.
"Those rules are so stupid. How can he have hot ass friends and expect you not to want to date at least one of them." Jiwoo says as she looks over.
"Right." I sigh as I watch Yoongi's friends greet him.
"I have a great idea for tonight! We should totally play spin the bottle. It'll be the perfect opportunity for you to get your first kiss and Yoongi can't deny it because it's part of the game." Jiwoo says excitedly.
"You can't seriously think he'll agree to that." I say as I look over at Yoongi who's looking around.
"What if I occupy him while you play?" She asks, a grin on her face.
"Okay, Yeah, but I don't know how well he'll go along with that." I say.
"Just leave it to me." Jiwoo says then grabs a bottle of beer and pushes it towards me.
"Party time!" She yells as she drags me over to everyone else.
This was definitely bound to be an interesting night.
...
"Hey Yoongi." I hear Jiwoo say as she walks up to us.
"Uh, Hey." Yoongi says without so much as a glance at her.
"Happy birthday." She says, laying her hand on his arm.
Yoongi looks up at her and moves his arm away.
"What are you doing?" He asks.
"I was just thinking we could-"
"No thanks. Y/n, come on. We need to make sure there's enough drinks for everyone." Yoongi says as he grabs onto my arm and pulls me away.
I watch Jiwoo and pout as he drags me away.
"Hey y/n." I hear and Yoongi stops and turns.
Standing there, I see Hoseok.
"Oh hey." I say as I stand up straight and straighten out my outfit.
"Happy birthday." He says as he smiles down at me.
"Thanks." I say, completely forgetting that Yoongi was right beside me.
Well, until he spoke.
"Where are the others?" Yoongi asks.
"Over there. I just wanted to talk to y/n real quick so if you don't mind." Hoseok asks and Yoongi's brow furrows.
"If It's not something you can say in front of me then maybe you shouldn't say it at all." Yoongi says.
I sigh as I pull in my lips and stand up tall.
"I'm just gonna go over here." I say and separate from them.
I didn't want to be around that because I'm trying to have a good time not a controlled one.
"We're about to play. Since Yoongi just went inside we'll start now. When he comes back Don't listen to him and just continue the game, okay." Jiwoo says and I nod.
"Okay guys, game time!" Jiwoo calls out, getting everyones attention.
Everyone gathers around and waits for her to speak.
"We're gonna play spin the bottle so let's have some fun!" She says excitedly.
Everyone cheers and I smile as I sit down.
"This is gonna be fun." Hoseok says as he sits down beside me.
I bite my lip and watch as Jiwoo passes me the bottle.
"Since you're the birthday girl, you
go first." She grins.
I look around and see all of my friends and Yoongi's friends looking at me, waiting for me to take the spin.
I take in a deep breath and grab the bottle.
When I look around and see no sign of Yoongi, I spin the bottle.
It spun quickly at first then slowly came to a stop.
"Would you look at that." Hoseok grins and my eyes widen slightly as I see that it had landed on him.
What are the odds of that happening?¿
"Well, What are you waiting for?" Jiwoo grins.
I look over at Hoseok and give him a small smile even though I was freaking out on the inside.
This was about to be my first kiss, and in front of all of these people.
"It's okay, I'll be gentle with you." Hoseok says as he grabs my face gently, bringing my face closer to his.
My heart was racing in my chest as I felt my palms getting sweaty.
Everyone was silent and I swear they could hear the sound of my pounding heart.
I slowly close my eyes as I feel the warmth of Hoseok's face next to mine.
Just as his lips were about to touch mine all hell breaks loose as I hear:
"What the fuck!"
