Jake's POV,
I woke up and saw the clock it was 7:00am, I dragged myself from the bed to the shower.
After shower I walked in my closet and wore a light blue shirt, black tie, black pant and black shoes.
I walked down the staircase and saw Carol, Dads secretary waiting for me.
'Good Morning, Carol' I wished with a small smile.
NOTE :Carol is not a slave because she is not a human she is also a vampire
'Good Morning Prince Jake, King and Queen are waiting for you in the dining room for breakfast' she said in a serious, business tone
I went in the dining room and found my father and mother waiting for me
'Good morning Father, Good morning Mother' I wished them
They both looked at me and smiled.
'Happy 120th Birthday, Son' they both wished me happily
I almost forgot today is my birthday
'Thanks mother, thanks father but we are vampires we don't age so what is the point of celebrating it' I said
'Come on, its a new year in your life live it happily' my mother said
I laughed and said 'Alright' and joined them on the table.
My Father picked up his glass of blood and said 'To Jake'
My Mother and I repeated his words and drank from our glasses.
We finished our breakfast and was getting up when my father stopped me and said 'Jake come in my study on 9:00, You have a meeting with the blood collecting department at 7:30, Carol will give you the details'
'OK Father' I said and stood up from the table and went to my study to prepare for the meeting
Carol knocked on the door
'Come in' I said
She gave me all the details of the meeting
I walked out the door to my car and drove to the blood collecting office.
After a drive of 30min I reached there and went for the meeting.
When the meeting finished I looked at my watch, it was 8:30.
I got into my car and drove home.
When I reached home, I did nothing first but headed for my fathers study because when he calls me there he talks about something really important
I saw, that his study room's door was open, I walked in front of it and saw that my mother was in there too along with father
I knocked on the door
'Come in' my father said,
I walked in and sat down on a chair beside my mother.
'Listen Jake as you know you will be king in less than 8 months, your mother and I think you should get a slave' my father said to me.
'But father we have so many slaves all over the palace' I said with an offended tone
'I meant a personal slave for your birthday' he said
'I don't want a slave' I said
I hate slavery, making someone do your dirty work is the worst thing I have ever heard about and a personal slave means you can feed from him/ her hate it.
Humans should not be treated like that but my parents love to have slaves and they will absolutely make me take one
'You will go to the auction house, buy a slave and bring it home End of conversation' mother said facing me
and by her face I could tell she will not take no as an answer
'Fine but I will go when I am not busy' I said in an irritated tone, stoode up and walked away.
