Ayla's POV
Summer break is probably one of my favorite times of the year. No school, no responsibilities. Even though being 16 doesn't leave you with many responsibilities. Every year my parents and I go on vacation for the entire summer. Today is the first full day of summer and we are flying to stay with some of my parents friends from High School.
The only thing I was told was that they had three kids. A 17 year old son, a 15 year old daughter, and a 13 year old son.
Boarding the plane I stopped very briefly and patted the outside of the plane, for good luck. Once I found my seat, I took the window seat. My mom took the middle seat and my dad the aisle seat.

Three and a half hours later, a person came on the intercom and told us we would be landing soon. I was told that the family would be picking us up at the airport.

After we get our bags I hear a woman yell my parent's name "Jamie... Robert?". My parents turn around and start running towards... Jill and Mike Donnelly.
Oh.
My.
Gosh.
I love watching Flippin' Kate, I never knew my parent could actually have cool friends. Along with Jill and Mike, stood Brennan, Katie, and Ryan. And damn, might I say, Brennan was looking fine as always. I also forgot to mention I've had the biggest crush on him, for as long as I can remember. But I never thought that some day I would be standing less than 30 feet from him.
Brennan's eyes catch mine and he immediately smiles. My parents are hugging Jill and Mike as I decide to walk over to all of them. After my parents hug Jill and Mike and they make their way down the line of kids. I do the same hugging Jill, Mike, Katie and Ryan. When it comes to Brennan I look up into his eyes before he pulls me into a tight hug. Our hug goes on longer than expected. But when we pull away, my family gets our stuff and heads to the Donnelly's car.
Jill pulls out the camera and starts talking "so we just picked up our surprise guests" she motions towards my dad "this is Robert" then to my mom "and Jamie, some of our good friends from high school" she then motions towards me "and their beautiful daughter, Ayla". I smile and give a small wave to the camera.

We walk into the Donnelly's house, and Mike begins to address the sleeping situation. "Katie has decided to give up her room so Ayla you will be sleeping in there"
I am quick to respond "oh no it's okay, it's her room. I can sleep on the couch"
Jill talks this time, instead of Mike "honey you're our guest and you are sleeping in Katie's room. End of discussion"
"What about Katie?" I question.
Katie answers before her parents can "I'll be fine, don't worry about me"
I drop my bags and walk over to Katie, giving her a hug, "thank you".
Jill starts to talk again "and Jamie and Rob will be in our room. Don't even think about protesting"
My parents say nothing, but nod their heads. It's silent until Jill asks Katie and Ryan if they will go and get out the stuff to make dinner, and obviously they agree. She then asks Brennan to show me to my, or should I say Katie's, room, and he agrees. My heart starts to race #1 because I'm nervous I'll do something stupid and scare him away #2 because I'm excited and #3 because I'm nervous.
My parents walk off with Brennan's parents. Once they are gone, I reach down for my suitcase and apparently so does Brennan. Our hands accidentally touch and I feel a spark I definitely didn't expect. I pull my hand away and quickly apologize, looking down, embarrassed. I see Brennan smile out of the corner of my eye. He grabs my suitcase handle in his hand. Brennan starts to talk "it's fine" he pauses and then continues but this time in a British accent "now my lady, may I lead you to your room". I laugh and then respond, also in a British accent "well of course you may.

I woke up to the sun shining through my window. I got up, got dressed brushed my hair, and applied a little makeup. Before grabbing my tooth brush and heading to the bathroom. When I was finished, I walked into the living room to find Jill cooking in the room over.
"Good morning" she called out, "how did you sleep?"
"Great" I reply
"Can you go wake up the boys, breakfast is ready"
"Of course"
I walk to the room I assumed was Brennan's and Ryan's, and knocked.
"Come in" a raspy but hot voice responded.
I opened the door and took a step in, Ryan was still basically asleep. But Brennan was laying in bed and cuddling with his blankets as soon as he sees me, his eye light up. Or maybe I'm seeing what I hoped would happen. "Your mom says to get up, breakfast is almost ready"
"Okay" he says after a minute.
I turn on my heel and start to walk out of the room when Brennan's voice stops me "Hey Ayla"
"Yeah" I turned around.
"Good morning"
"Good morning Brennan."

It's about mid day, the Flippin' Katie video has already gone up, and we were all sitting in the living room, talking. After we all finish laughing at something Mike said, Ryan starts to talk "we should do a challenge for our channel".
"Okay Ry Guy, what were you thinking?" Jill asks Ryan.
"We could ask on social media for our fans to send us truth or dares"
"Okay, I'm in" I say.
"I'm down" Brennan responds.
"I'll do it" Katie also agrees.

We decided to film outside because it was really nice out. We were all lined up at a table. Ryan was at the left side if you were looking through the camera. Then it was Brennan, me and Katie was on the other end. My parents decided to go out and Mike was showering. While Jill was reading us the truth or dares. But we did it a little different, the first round was all dares and the second was all truths, and we were just going to switch back and forth.
Katie started the dares. Jill scrolled on her phone and then told Katie her dare "I already picked out some of my favorites, so Katie, I dare you to do a triple back flip on the trampoline"
"Okay" Katie said, standing up and running to the trampoline, that wasn't very far away.
She jumped, and jumped. Once she was pretty high, she started her first flip, and then doing another and another. After her third she bounced once more on her feet before bouncing on her butt. And I'm pretty sure that part was intentional. When she ran back, Jill asks me my dare. "Ayla, I dare you to jump in the river". I look back and see their dock that leads into the water.
"Okay" is all I say before taking off my shirt and handing it to Brennan. He looks at me like I'm crazy, but then smiles. The only reason I did it though is because I was wearing a sports bra, and because I really didn't want to get river water all Ver my new shirt.
I jog over to the water and do a cannon ball. When I come of for air, I hear Brennan yell "10 out of 10".
I smile before boosting myself out of the water and going back to my chair.
Jill starts to read off Brennan's dare "Brennan, I dare you to eat a clove of garlic", Jill hands the garlic clove over to Brennan.
"Do I have to swallow it?" Brennan asks.
"Um no, just chew it in your mouth for a little bit" Jill responds.
Brennan pops the garlic in his mouth, and chews it for a little before spitting it on the ground. He then immediately got up and ran into the house. After about 5 minutes he came back out, "sorry, I had to brush my teeth about three time... and I can still taste the garlic" we all laugh as Brennan sits back in his seat.
"Okay" Jill starts "Ryan, I dare you to call McDonalds and report a missing puppy.
"Mom can I borrow your phone" Ryan questions.
She responds with a simple yeah before handing over her phone. Ryan googles and then dials McDonald's.
"Hello" a guy on the other end answers.
"Hi" Ryan says, in a tone that makes him sound younger, "my puppy just ran away and I can't find him"
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. What color was he, maybe I'll see him"
"He's purple, and answers when you meow at him"
"I'm sorry, what?" Is all I hear before Ryan hits the end button.
We all start laughing, before Katie says, "Since when do you have a purple puppy?"
When we all settled down Jill starts talking again "okay so now we are moving into our truth round. Katie, is it true that you have a boyfriend?"
Katie take a small breath and then starts to talks while smiling, "I do not have a boyfriend, and I'm okay with it"
Jill nods her head before speaking "I'm glad you don't have a secret boyfriend I don't know about. Okay Ayla, is true that you enjoy being here?"
I smile really big before smiling "Oh my gosh I love being here, all of you are so nice and so generous for opening your house to me and my family, thank you"
"You are very welcome, we love having you guys here" Jill then continues to Brennan, "Brennan, is it true that you think that Ayla is beautiful?"
Brennan's face gets red, as well as mine. He takes a deep breath, "yes... I think she is stunning... and from what I know she has a great personality" he blurts out really fast.
"Thank you" I respond "I think you are very attractive too". Oh my gosh what did I just say. I don't know it just came out, and it's on video. I guess there is no turning back now.
Brennan looks at me and smiles "thanks", he says laughing nervously.
"Ooooo" Katie nags "looks like Brennan has a crush".
"Ryan's turn" Brennan's face gets really red.
Jill reads from her phone once more "Ryan is it true that you gave up golf to start swimming"
"Yes, and so far I love swimming." Ryan answers.
