'What did I just say?' Zane thought.
"Sorry, daddy"
Zane didn't mean to say that last word. The word that he thought would ruin whatever he had with Travis.
Zane lowered his head in shame as his bottom lip trembled.
Travis, on the other hand, was elated. Travis was surprised by the word, but this meant Zane wanted Travis to be his caregiver.
Zane didn't talk for the rest of the ride home.

Zane stared at the wall as he quietly munched on his fries.
Travis just watched him, wondering if he should bring up what happened in the car.
"Umm Zane" He began "About what happened in the car..."
Zane shook his head violently.
Travis sighed.
"Baby, if you want me to be your caregiver, then just tell me. I'd be happy to be your caregiver" Travis said.
Zane glanced at Travis and put down the fries.
"Travis can be my c-cargiver?" Zane asked.
"I can only if you want me to" Travis replied.
Zane went over to Travis and hugged him.
"I want you to be my caregiver"
