I sniffled and wiped my eyes.
Don't you dare cry Hofferson.
"Astrid?" I heard a voice suddenly say making me flinch and lose my balance.
"CAREFUL!"
"Huh? Woah!" I said before flailing my arms around and falling from the branch. I was caught by a pair of arms before landing on someone both soft and hard.
Soft to cushion up the blow, and hard that it was someone's chest.
I looked down to see a pair of emerald green eyes staring back at me.
"Wow! You're eyes are blue! They're so cool!" Hiccup says.
"You're eyes are green! Like the trees!" I giggled.
I smiled wide before leaning down to kiss Hiccup. We pulled away and he smiled while blushing faintly.
"How'd you find me?" I asked as he placed my hair away from my face.
"You love the forest" He says.
That's true.
I smiled wide and got off him. I held out my hand for him to take. He gladly took it and I pulled him up.
"What were you doing up there?" He brushed off the dirt from my clothes before he moved on to brush dirt off of his own clothes.
"Reminiscing" I said looking up at the tree.
"What were you reminiscing about?" He asks leaning on a tree. I loved this exact moment now, he was being reflected by the sun from behind. His smile wide and genuine, and his emerald green ones shining like they usually do.
This time, I'll draw Hiccup.
My Strength
"Remember the first time we met?" I ask.
"You punched my shoulder?" He asks. The time after I distanced myself and started to come out of my shell, I began talking to others again.
I visited Gobber at his place one time when I came in the door, Hiccup came out of nowhere and I punched his shoulder in fear.
"No, before that" I say, smiling at that silly meet-up.
"Ah, it was late afternoon. Dad had just come home from hearing there was an attack on a nearby island. When he introduced you to me, I couldn't take my eyes of you. You had the most amazing shade of blue eyes. No one had their eyes as gorgeous as yours" He says staring into mine as he stroked my cheek.
"And yours look like trees" I said.
He laughs at the memory.
"Why trees?" He asks.
"Because they're green" I shrugged.
"Yeah but you could've said grass"
"That's not gonna make anything better" I shook my head.
"True" he says before taking my hand.
"Why'd you come to find me?" I ask swinging our hands back and forth.
He smirked and then placed his fingers between his lips and whistled. In a matter of seconds, Toothless came doing somersaults in the air.
"IT WORKS!" I yelled happily marveling at the tail.
"It's amazing!" I said as Toothless did many flips and tricks.
"Wow" I whispered.
"You know? If you really are this excited about Toothless' tail, it's hard to believe you really burned the tail"
I didn't.
I just laughed. No comment Hiccup.
No comment for you.
I turned around to face Hiccup.
"I'm going back to town, you coming?" I ask.
"Always" He says before we walked side by side back to town.

"Hey Astrid" Hiccup says. We were walking to the Great Hall.
"Yeah?" I ask.
"Do you think I'm handsome?" He asks smiling at me too flirtatiously. He had his eyebrows scrunched up and he smiled wide showing his teeth.
"Not if you do that" I said.
"Hey, that's my sexyface" He says.
"It's not sexy, it's creepy" I replied.
"Then what do you find sexy?" He asks.
I put his lips to do a slight smile, like a grin or something. I raised his eyebrow a bit.
"Now wink" I say and he did.
"That is sexy, not this" I say imitating his face from earlier.
"Egh, if my face was creepy, I don't know what I'd call yours" He jokes. I punched his chest.
"Alright Astrid, no violence. Violence is not the answer"
"It's an expression. I have freedom to express my feelings. You can't stop me" I shrugged.
"You really are rare to find in the world" He says tapping my nose.
I growled at him.
"Down girl" he chuckles.
We arrived at the Great Hall.
"ASTRID! HICCUP!" Fishlegs ran to us and hid behind us.
"Uh" I say.
"What's happened?" Hiccup asks.
"Snotlout is out to get me" He says before pointing at Snotlout who was looking for Fishlegs.
"HOW DO YOU LOSE SOMEONE THAT FAT?!" Snotlout groans loudly from across the hall.
"Alright what did you do?" I ask Fishlegs.
"I may have called Ruffnut...... Unattractive" He says.
"THERE HE IS!" Snotlout yells before running to us. Me and Hiccup stepped away from Fishlegs.
"See this is why I hate you--"
Fishlegs was cut off by Snotlout slamming into him. I sighed walked to the table where Ruff and Tuff were.
"Overprotective boyfriend much?" I ask Ruff.
She shrugs.
"Why? Isn't Hiccup overprotective?" Tuff asks.
"I'm not THAT overprotective" Hiccup says.
I turned to him.
"You ARE that overprotective" I say.
"Are not"
"Are to"
"Are not. It's not overprotectiveness, I'm just showing I care for you more than normal" He says.
"Yep, overprotectiveness" I nodded and Hiccup just chuckled shaking his head.
"Hey Hiccup, where's Emma by the way?" I ask?
"I don't know actually" He says scratching his head. (DUN DUN DUN)
"Hmm, maybe she's with Gobber?" I ask.
"But Gobber is spending the whole day with Dad" Hiccup says.
Where is that girl?

"What do you mean they made up?!" ?????? hisses at me.
"They love each other too much to let each other go. I'm sorry but I can't do this anymore" I say walking away.
?????? ran in front of me, pointing a sword at me.
"I thought you liked Hiccup?"
"Yeah, but I don't want to break them up. That's too cruel. I want someone to love me because they want to" I said before walking away.
"You're making a big mistake, Emma"
I turned to ???????
"No, you are" I said before disappearing from her sight.
