"I'll do it Yanchen," Mingzhu comments as she tried prying her bag from his hands.
"I'd rather help you. It's heavy -"
"Stop it!" She exclaimed, earning the attention of Bangbang and Jeffrey who were passing by.
"Why are you guys fighting over a bag?" Bangbang asked.
Yanchen faced him, "Bangbang, tell Mingzhu I'll take her bag upstairs because it's really heavy,"
Mingzhu faced Bangbang, "Tell him its not that heavy and I can manage."
"Bangbang, don't listen to her. We're friends, right?"
"Bangbang, we've know each other for almost 6 years now, are you seriously choosing him over me?"
Bangbang got confused since he doesn't know who to listen to. His head has been turning back and forth.
"Guys," Jeffrey cut them off, looking at the people who were standing outside there respective rooms. "You two need to talk. I'll ask Fen-ge to take Mingzhu's bag upstairs. You're attracting an audience."
Mingzhu and Yanchen looked around and found their friends with confused faces.
Mingzhu glared at Yanchen as she dropped her bag on the ground, "Fine. Garden. Now."
Yanchen nodded and followed Mingzhu silently while Jeffrey just sent him a thumbs up.

"Mingzhu - I -"
Mingzhu cut him off as she turned around to face him. "Look, Yanchen, I don't know what you're up to but I don't want any part of it."
Yanchen bit his lip. He avoided walking closer because he knows he might get rejected. Again. "Sorry. I just wanted to help."
"Help Shuzhen then." Mingzhu whispered. "After everything I've helped you with, you're still not taking her back?"
"I have no intention to." Yanchen admitted. "Can you hear me out, Mingzhu? For once, please listen to the people around you."
Mingzhu was about to answer when Qin Fen called them out, "Kids, dinner!"
Yanchen sighed, giving up. He turned his back to her and walked back to the house, not even giving Mingzhu a second look.
"Dong Yanlei, are you sure you didn't put anything in here?" Zuo Ye asked, pointing at the older with a fork.
"Do you think I would stoop that low?" Yanlei countered.
As soon as Yanlei said that, Kaihao screamed in pain. "Water! Water! Water!"
Yanyu offered a glass to him, "Dong Yanlei, you are so de -!"
"It's not me!" Yanlei stood up, defending himself. "That really wasn't me this time!"
"Then who -?" Mubo asked and saw Xiao Gui giggling. He quickly look at Zhou Rui, "That's not my kid."
Zhou Rui rolled his eyes and hit Xiao Gui's head, "Enough, Wang Linkai."
Xiao Gui touched his head, "I just wanted to have some fun,"
Mingzhu shook her head, "Boys will be boys."

"So, what happened? Did she forgive you?" Zimo asked, lying on his bed.
"She doesn't even let me talk," Yanchen replied.
"Maybe you need to be sweet about it?"
The latter scoffed, "I doubt that'll work. Let's face it. She hates me."
"She actually doesn't." Zimo explained. "Just give her time. This is the first guy she's ever truly like. Don't give up on her now."
"I'm not planning to,"
"Good." Zimo covered himself with blankets. "So don't make me regret my decision."
