Farmhouse
Evelina was bored out of her mind. The cage didn't give her much to do, with the lack of room and such. She entertained herself with the bamboo rams on the sides. She was a prisoner of her own thoughts, she had nothing better to do. She looked down at the magical cuff on her wrist and began to tug on it. She grunted when she couldn't take it off. She growled and threw her body against the sides of the cage. Evelina cried out and curled up in a ball when all she received was pain. Her stomach and arms began to ache.
"I don't feel so good..." She whined. Her stomach had felt funny ever since she ate the supposed burger that Wendy had brought her. Evelina was 99% sure the food that Wendy gave her wasn't a legit burger.
She looked out of the sliver between two bars and saw a small mango hanging onto a branch with all its might. She sighed. Evelina was upset she couldn't eat the fruit.
She began to whine again. She kicked the sides of her cage, in hopes of breaking one lose. No such luck.
Evelina suddenly stopped her whining when she heard footsteps approaching her cage. She grew curious when the cage door opened but stiffened when she saw Wendy standing there.
"Get up prisoner, we have somewhere to be." Evelina stuck her head out and glanced around. Two people she had never seen before stood at Wendy's side. The young princess sunk back into the cage and gave a tight smile.
"I think I'll stay here, thanks." Evelina said. Wendy rolled her eyes and signaled her two minions. They both grabbed the edge of the cage and tilted it to the side, causing Evelina to come tumbling out. She landed flat on the ground and gave a groan.
"Du tispe." Evelina cursed. Wendy ignored her. She gave anothet signal to the men next to her and they pulled Evelina's arms back before tying a piece of rope around her wrists. She yelped in pain when she felt them burn into her pale skin.
"What the-"
"These ropes are enchanted. Put up a fight, they will burn deeper into your skin." Wendy said as she watched Evelina give a sudden sharp move but then crumble to the ground in pain.
"Come along now. And don't dawdle." Wendy snapped. She walked off into the trees. Evelina was pulled up by the two who bent to Wendy's commands. She was dragged into the thick trees.
Her feet ached. She looked down to her clothes. It was a bad time to wear flats. Her favorite pair of black flats were covered in dirt. The tiny bows on top of each shoe looked like stringy hair, all covered in mud. The tight jeans she wore were ripped at the knees from falling too much and just like her shoes, they were covered in dust and dirt. Her long sleeved gray shirt with the cute peter pan collar had gotten a cute reaction from Peter when she explained the name of the collar.
"It's a peter pan collar. Or at least that's what they call it." Evelina explained as she showed Peter the shirt she planned to wear for the day. He furrowed his eyebrows and looked at her.
"They named a type of collar after me?"
"No you were named after a type of collar." Evelina teased and he grunted.
"I don't even wear that type of collar."
"I know you don't."
"Then why did they call it that?"
"... Huh. I'm not actually sure, min kjære." Evelina responded as she slipped the shirt on. She fixed the collar straight and turned to show Peter her full outfit. He watched her with eyes of admiration before mumbling,
"Well now, don't you look beautiful."
Evelina smiled at the memory. She thought Peter was the cutest thing when he was confused.
"I can't believe I wasted such a perfect outfit on you people. At least I won't die looking like some fashion disgrace... Unlike you." Evelina said as she glanced over Wendy. She growled as she turned to the blonde.
Wendy didn't say anything as they approached a small farm house out in the middle of nowhere. It was white with a black roof and a large shed was a ways to the side and the whole place was surrounded by trees and bushes. A small dirt road led up to the house and its garage and Evelina took a deep breath.
She was sure Neverland did not have any houses nor roads.
"Where the hell are we?" She hissed but grunted in pain when one of the goons tightened the burning ropes around her wrists. She hissed in pain and growled loudly when the burn settled down. She shot the evilest glare she could conjure towards the man. She wanted to ice his dick off but the magical cuff around her wrist prevented her from doing so.
They walked up to the house. Wendy knocked on the door and Evelina waited anxiously for it to open.
She wasn't surprised when it was Zelena who came to the door.
This time, the witch wasn't sporting her green skin disease and instead looked pretty normal. She smirked when she saw Evelina.
"I see my package arrived early." She said in her thick accent. Zelena shut the door behind her and turned to Wendy.
"So we have a deal?"
"Of course. She wouldn't be standing there with her head if we didn't." Wendy said as she stared straight at Evie. Evelina simply glared back.
"This way please." The witch said to the men who held the princess's arms. They pulled her towards the underground shed and Evelina got anxiety just looking at it. Zelena opened the doors with her magic and walked down, everyone following.
It was dark and cold (not that Evelina could tell the difference). She heard nothing but heavy breathing and gree afraid of the spiders that could be crawling about.
When Zelena pulled on a string to turn on the light, Evelina had to blink multiple times to get adjusted to the brightness.
She looked around until her eyes landed on a familiar figure before her. He looked broken, dirty, as if he had gone to hell and had to fight his way back up. He looked thinner than she remembered and she feared the man before her.
"Darling Frost, I'm sure you remember Rumpelstiltskin?" Zelena said in a low voice.
Rumple looked up as his name was said and Evelina noticed how dead his eyes looked.
"Meet your new bunkmate, Rumple." Wendy said as she shoved Evelina to the cage that he was in. Evelina squealed in pain as the ropes burned her one more before completely disappearing. She looked at her wrists and nearly fainted. Burn marks were on both and they had begun to turn a sickening purple.
"I did my half of the deal. You promised me-"
"Yes I know." Zelena snapped before she flicked her wrist and a small dark box with strange markings appeared. Zelena handed it to Wendy.
"I'm sure you know how this works."
"Of course." Wendy said in an amazed voice as she grabbed the box.
"The deal is done. Now leave my property." Zelena snapped. Wendy rolled her eyes but obliged. She left with the two men behind her but not before turning to give one more sinister smile to the princess.
"Such a pretty lost cause." Wendy said before disappearing from Evelina's sight.
The blonde turned to face Zelena with raging eyes.
"Why am I here?"
"You'll find out soon enough." Was Zelena's response before she left. Evelina turned to Rumple. He stared at the tray of food in front him. Evelina swallowed hard. She keeled down to his eye level and spoke softly.
"Rumple, are you alright?" She whispered. He looked up blankly. Ignoring her, he went back to the bowl of oatmeal.
"You feed the madness and it feeds on you..." Rumple sang before giggling madly. Evelina backed away.
"The monsters will soon come after you."
Evelina deemed him a broken soul.
