I'm really excited to write this chapter because Mei gets to meet everyone, including Kirishima :3 buuut yeah it's gonna be a cute chapter. I'm wanting Mei to join U.A. a little while after the League of Villains attacked the USJ so we can take part in the Sports Festival.

Mei's POV
I was initially supposed to begin attending school at U.A. yesterday, but class had been canceled due to an unexpected attack against the students and some teachers by the notorious villain group, The League of Villains. My mother became very opposed to the idea of me attending there after seeing a news story about it, but I managed to calm her down and assure her that I'll be alright.
"Hanaaaa! You better hurry or you're gonna be late!" My mother yelled to me from the kitchen. I was standing in front of my mirror fixing my school uniform, adjusting the tie, and also fixing my hair in the process. I had it tied into a high pony tail with my somewhat long bangs pushed off to one side, the right, to cover my scar. My hair was very long, longer than the average girls hair. In a pony tail it ended at the small of my back, but when I let it down, which was rare; especially in public, it reached just past my ass. It got myself many compliments but it was a pain to take care of.
Once I was satisfied with my look I stepped out of my room and walked into the kitchen to grab my bag. "Awe hun, you look gorgeous... my little girls all grown up" She said that last part wiping a fake tear from her eye. I blushed and smiled. Before heading out I gave both her and Yui a big hug. I threw my jacket over my shoulders quickly and opened the door. "Wish me luck!" and with that I was out the door and headed down the street to start my hero training.
Looking down at my watch that read 8:25am, I sighed in relief. "I've still got a few minutes to spare. All Might said he wanted to see me before classes started so he could introduce me to all of my new teachers. Walking inside I was already completely lost, the place was huge! I ended up seeing a sign hanging from the ceiling reading 'Office' with an arrow directing me to go to my left then straight down the hallway. Once I reached the office I slowly opened up the door hoping to see the principal, but there was no one inside. I scrunched my face in confusion before shutting the door and walking down that same hallway. I walked about 50 meters before I came across a door that read 'Teachers Lounge'. I mentally praised myself for my impressive (not so impressive) investigatory skills. Taking a deep breath in, I knocked quietly on the door. I held my breath until the door opened and an unfamiliar face appeared. She had long dark purple hair, and her costume was very, veeeery tight, a little to R-rated for a school filled with kids in my opinion. She looked at me confused before a light went off in her head. "Ooooooh you must be the new student Toshi's been telling us about!" I looked at her confused 'Toshi?' I thought to myself but was knocked out of my thoughts when she opened the door all the way and gestured for me to enter. I smiled nervously, clutching my bag tightly. I calmed a little when I saw All Might standing off to the side waving at me. "Hello Young Mei! I'm glad you could make it!" He said and ended with a big smile. It was quite contagious. I smiled back and waved shyly before looking around at all the eyes that were on me. I felt a hand gently squeeze my shoulder. "I'm Midnight! I'll be a teacher of yours along with a few others in here" she said gesturing to the other adults in the room. After All Might has introduced me to all of my teachers the bell rang indicating the beginning of class. "Aizawa, I'm going to give Mei a quick tour of the school and then I'll return her to your class. I hope you'll have the students give Mei a warm welcome" All Might said almost seriously. Aizawa-sensei nodded "of course" and walked off into the opposite direction of me and All Might.
Kirishima POV
The bell rang and Iida strictly directed everyone to their seats before our teacher could make it to class. 'Aizawa-sensei took quite the beating, I wonder who'll fill in for him while he's recovering..' I thought as I twiddled a pencil around in my hand.
"Everyone!! Morning homeroom is about to begin! Take your seats!!" Iida exclaimed, waving his hands around in the air. "We're sitting. You're the only one up" Sero quickly replied. I chuckled at the reply but was quickly drawn to attention by the new voice entering the room. "Morning" Aizawa-sensei replied has he wobbled slowly up to his desk. "You're back already Aizawa-sensei?!" Iida exclaimed while he took his seat. "Glad to see you're doing well, Sensei!" Uraraka piped in "If you can call that 'doing well'...". Sensei sighed before continuing. "My welfare isn't important. Because your fight is far from over." The class looked at Sensei anxiously and confusingly. "Could there be more villains?" I mumbled to myself quietly. "U.A's sports festival is fast approaching!" All the students immediately piped up, including me. The sports festival was one of the biggest events in Japan! And we're in it this year! I gave Kaminari a manly fist bump before Sensei calmed us all down. "I also have one more announcement to make..." everyone gave them their full attention. "We've got a new transfer student coming to U.A. She was recommended by a fellow teacher and will be arriving very shortly. Please make her feel comfortable here and be kind." He glanced at Bakugou once he made the last remark, Bakugou huffed and crossed his arms. I looked over to Kaminari. "I wonder what the new students quirk is like. She must be pretty amazing to get in on a recommendation, and from one of the teachers!" I said with a big toothy grin. "I really hope she's hot" Kaminari smirked. I laughed and punched his shoulder "tits and ass is all you ever got goin through your head huh?" Kaminari looked at me offended and crossed his arms. "Not all the time!" I laughed again and Kaminari began to change the subject to the sports festival. 'I'm really looking forward to meeting his girl' I thought as Kaminari rambled on about how he's "gonna own the sports festival".
Mei's POV
It took about 20 minutes for All Might to show me all the classes I'll need to be visiting today, along with the cafeteria and the bathrooms located through out the school. "I'm hoping your classmates will give you a tour of the rest of the school later on. I don't want to hold you back from your education more than I have already" he said smiling and rubbing the back of his neck. "I appreciate it! I would've gotten lost if you didn't give me a tour!" We both walked silently for another minute before we made it to my class. "There's about half an hour left in the class so you should be able to get to know a few of the students well" he said placing his hand reassuringly on my back. "I'm not the best at talking to new people... but I'll try!" I said nervously as we stood outside the classroom. He gave me a big smile and thumbs up before he opened the door. Aizawa-sensei looked over at us and back to the class. "Alright everybody, " I began to walk in and tightened my grip on my bag trying not to blush. "This is our new transfer student Hana Mei, once again please make her feel welcome." He said lazily before pointing to a free desk for me to sit in. The empty seat was beside a girl with short brown hair and pink blushy cheeks. I sat down and she turned to me. "Hello Mei! Welcome to U.A, my name's Ochaco Uraraka!" She smiled and stretched her hand out for me to take. I grabbed her hand and shook gently. "I-it's nice to meet you Uraraka!" I returned the smile. Sensei didn't give us any work to do today so a majority of the class came to get to know me better. I was suddenly knocked forward by a small force which had turned out to be a student, he was small and had purple hair that resembled... balls? I tried to pull him off me from behind as he had a firm grip on my breasts. My cheeks blushed as he chuckled quietly "ohhh the women just get better and better! GAH!" He was immediately torn off my back and tossed off to the side. "Leave her alone Mineta, you wanna scare her away already?" I turned around to the owner of the voice and my cheeks blushed a light pink. I was met with a red, spiky haired boy who was scratching the back of his neck nervously. "Sorry about him, he's kind of a perve..." I laughed at his shyness and he seemed to gain confidence. He stretched out his hand for me to take, which I gladly did and smiled a toothy grin. "My names Eijiro Kirishima" I nodded and began to shake his hand. "Nice to meet you! A-and thanks for taking care of... that" you said gesturing to the perverted boy, "I wasn't sure what to do" I laughed nervously and he chuckled to. I was then greeted by the rest of the students.
Shortly after the bell rang and I threw my bag over my shoulder. I turned around to be face-to-face with a smiling Uraraka and behind her Tsu and Hagakure. "You wanna eat lunch with us?!" She said excitedly. I gladly accepted and we walked down to the cafeteria. "So Mei are you gonna participate in the sports festival?" Tsu asked. "Yeah, I doubt I'll place very high seeing as I haven't really done any training at all, but with the two weeks we have before the festival" I clenched my fist with determination, "I'm gonna train super hard and try my best!" The girls with me all smiled and found a table to sit at and we ate our lunch.
It wasn't an overly busy day in any of the classes. The teachers got to know me and I got to know them. In my last class, Modern Literature with Ishiyama-sensei, we were assigned a project about a classic piece of literature of our choice and we were assigned partners. "Now I want you working with people other than your close friends so I will be drawing names out of a hat." Things like this made me nervous. I know I've already met everyone in my class but I'm only really friends with Uraraka, Tsu and Hagakure, I haven't gotten the chance to talk to any of the others more. Sensei went through multiple names before he called out mine. "Mei and..." I swallowed nervously. "Kirishima". I looked around the classroom and saw the the red haired boy giving me a toothy smile. 'Ahhh I remember you' you thought as you returned the smile. "There's about 15 minutes of class left so I'd like you to get together with your partners and discuss the options you have". I got up and quickly made my way over to Kirishima and pulled up a chair. "Hello again" I said smiling while I brought out a blank piece of paper and my pencil. "Long time no see" Kirishima replied followed by a laugh. We began taking notes down on some potential options of books, To Kill a Mocking Bird, The Handmaid's Tale, The Great Gatsby, etc. We finally decided on Lord of the Flies by William Golding. Before we knew it the class was over and we were on our way through the gates. I said my goodbyes to all my new friends and started walking down the street. "Hey Mei! Wait up!" I turned around to see Kirishima jogging over to me. "How was your first day?" he asked once he caught up to me. "Oh it was great! I haven't had that much fun in a long time" I turned to him and smiled. He returned a warm smile and faced forward "It only gets better from now on! I'm super pumped for the sports festival! How about you?" I tilted my head slightly to the side. "Yeah, although I don't think I'll make it very far. I haven't had much experience with using my quirk in battle. I only did recently and, by some miracle, All Might happened to arrive on scene and witnessed the whole thing. That's the only reason I got in..." I trailed off, losing confidence. "Whoa whoa whoa! You got recommended by All Might?!" He asked excitedly. I turned to him and nodded. "Mei that's amazing! You obviously have strength and potential or else you wouldn't be here" I raised my eyebrows. "You really think so?" I asked holding back an excited squeak. Kirishima nodded "looks like I'll have to keep my eye on you at the festival" and winked. I laughed a little and blushed. "Thanks Kirishima" he smiled and paused in his walking. "Well this is where I turn off. It was nice talking with you. I'm glad I finally have someone to walk home with" he said with a smile. "Yeah it was nice talking to you too!" Kirishima scratched the back of his neck nervously and smiled before we waved goodbye and continued on our paths back home. A smile was plastered on my face the entire time, 'he's such a sweetheart' I thought to myself. My cheeks filled with warmth.
I sighed quietly in relief as I made it home and walked through the door. "Oneesan!!!" "Hey Yui! Miss me?" She quickly nodded her head as I picked her up and carried her into the kitchen. My mother turned and smiled at me "How was your first day hun?" I smiled and blushed once again thinking of all the new people I met. "It was extraordinary!"
That night I prepared dinner for the three of us, cleaned up then went to bed. The colour red flooded my dreams sending me into a deep relaxing slumber.

Again, I'm sorry, it was long. But I just have such a hard time finding a good place to end a chapter quickly. Oh well! Hope you all enjoyed! Chapter 3 will be mainly training and Mei and Kirishima meeting up to work on their project together. Soon to come!
