I walk through the hallways, my eyes drooping as fuck. I was not in a good mood. Like pissed off mood. I have to go through all that crap with Arlo, I cried myself to sleep, I woke up almost late, drag John out of bed (which I didn't mind), and ran my ass all the way here.
Yep. Great fucking start.
"There you are!" I heard Gavin's voice rushing to me, "Eat this cripp-"
I dodge the attack without even looking, I drop all my stuff and shove him to a wall. In anger I grabbed his grey hair and push it, knocking the back of his head on the wall. I reared up my other hand and formed it into a fist and punch his face, ignoring the pain as his weak ability desperately tries to defend my incoming blows.
"Gah!" He glared at me, "You'll pay for-"
"Shut up..." I said in a monotone voice, and hit him again straight in the nose causing it to bleed, "I have no time for this. I already have too much BS in my life. It's better if you just leave me be." I let go of him and march off.
I can already see Gavin just glaring at me before deactivating his ability and walk off. Holding his bloody nose in the process.

Welp, rumors are spreading everywhere. I'm constantly hearing about Arlo being bruised up this morning. Surprisingly, I'm not in the picture.
"Bro, Arlo was bruised up when he enters the infirmary."
"Really? Arlo?! No way!"
"Yeah, I kinda heard the same thing!"
"Was he dethrone?"
"Nah, let's not jump to conclusion, maybe he just fell."
A dude scoff, "uh-huh. 'Fell'."
"And Blyke and Isen! They got their ass kicked as well!"
'Ah shit.' I winced, 'I forgot about those guys!'
"They said they got into a heated fight, it was no big deal." Another student waves them off.
'Phew... Wait... Those guys would've rat me out this instant. Why didn't they' I turn a corner and sigh.
"Aoi." I heard a voice behind me and see Elaine walking towards me.
"Elaine," I smile to her, "How are you?"
"Fine." She walks up to me, "So remember the text from yesterday?"
"Uh, yeah." I nodded, "What about?"
"Ventus and Meili's injuries... It's like, they attacked each other. What's worse... Other injuries they sustain, along with Blyke and Isen... I never saw an ability like that..."
'She must've meant my ability...' I wince.
"Do you know anything about it?" Elaine tilts her head.
"Elaine." I glare at her, "I just said it before. I was at my house."
"Hmph." She looked away before looking at me, analyzing my face. I kept up my poker face just to counteract her gaze, "Fine, I'll drop it... For now.
"Neat." I grin, before looking away. "... So Why are you like... Nice?"
"W-What?" Elaine looked at me in surprise, "What do you mean?"
"I'm just asking. Ever since the "Orange" incident-" We both blush at that, "You've been a bit nicer. You told Arlo a lie, saying that I was a bad guy over the Unordinary book incident, you didn't tell him the whole truth of what really happen. It's like you trust me-"
"Hey," Elaine put her finger to my lips, "What happens with me, stays with me... Got that?"
"... Yes, princess." I murmur through her finger
"And stop calling me that."
"Yeah- no," I smirk and grab her hand that was close to my face and gave the top of the hand a light kiss.
"W-What are you doing?!?!" She blushes furiously and pulled away her hand.
"Oh, just a reminder that you're my princess." I laugh.
Elaine's face was red like a tomato.
"Aoi: four, Princess: four," I smirk

So yeah, a red hand mark was on my cheek after that, but it was hella worth it. Someone bumped me as I walk by and see Blyke and Isen, giving me glares. I shrugged it off. I wasn't surprised, though I am a bit surprised when they haven't told me off.
"Hey, I heard a couple of convicts broke out of Kovoro's Prison." I heard a student whisper.
"Huh? Oh yeah. Two, to be specific. They're the same guys that were trying to escape Kovoro Mall." The other responded.
I stopped dead in my tracks. Frozen by such information.
'EMBER...' My whole body trembles, 'I won't allow these guys to escape... But I can't reveal myself. If the students know of my ability, the school will be FILLED with drama... I would be the center of attention... And that'll mean this school will be a target for EMBER just because of me...'
I took a deep breath and kept walking, 'I'm going to need outside help.' I took out my phone and hover my thumb over a contact and hesitated.

"I. Said. STAY DOWN!" My eyes flare blue as I punch him on the cheek.
Darian swung his whole body on the ground and cough out some blood.
Everything was close to destruction, the only sound that's heard was the rain and the distant fighting.
'That should... Knock the control off him...' I cough and see Darian slowly got up and I resume my fighting position.
"Stop..." I heard him cough out, "You did enough..." He turn around and I see tears fall out of his eyes.
"Darian..." I wince. I think I did more damage to him then I thought.
"Look, I already know that I can't right my wrong..." He looks around the destruction that Darian- No... EMBER has cause, "After this, I'm going away for a while."
"No, Darian. I can vouch for you despite your actions." I try to put in some sense on him. No way I'm losing him again.
"Who's going to listen?! I'm pretty sure I have a bounty on my head at the moment, Ozpin is going to have to agree with the higher ups and no one can do about it." Darian explain.
"... I guess you're right." I groan.
Darian stared at me as I looked away, "I can give you my contact information."
"W-wha?" That was surprising. He never gave me his personal contact number.
He blushed and looked away, "Shut up. That doesn't mean we're friends."
"Uh, huh. Sure." I extend out my phone and hand it to him.
Darian typed down his number and hand it back, "Call me if you need anything."
"Yeah... Sure." I look as Darian melt into the shadows.

I snap back to reality and look at the contact again, and groan.
'I hope I don't regret this' I press his name and press the call button.
