I wake suddenly, every thought in high definition. My eyes take in every ray of light and without a doubt I know I've slept too long. The noises are of a day in full swing, traffic heavy. I'm dressed and fed in a fraction.
What a loud Thursday.
Oh boy, I hate waking up to Tay not been by my side, other from that...the water was running in the shower, must be him.
The water had stopped by the time I sat at the edge of the bed.
"Tay?" I called out rubbing my eyes....
"Yas babi." Neddy's voice spoke, walking out with a cup of water, smirking. "fi yuh lucky yuh woke up before mi could wet yuh."
I scoffed getting up and walking to her. "Well Goodmorning." I chuckled before walking past her.
I took my tooth brush out, placed tooth paste on it and brushed my teeth....once I was done, placed everything away and turned back to Neddy who sat on my bed looking out the window.
"Are da boys downstairs alone ?" I questioned
"Yeah." She said looking at me. "Ave yuh noticed someting ah wrang wid trace"
"Yeah of course." I said shrugging and siting next to her.
"Things are wrong wit' ev'one." I said wiping my mouf. "Includin' yhu."
"Wat bout mi?" She questioned.
"Ev'thang baby girl." I said. "Start talkin' I'm listenin'."
"Arggghhhhh." She groaned. "Ou am mi guh fi guh be gud wen fi mi stupid broda ah working wid taylor an iz gang."
"He always had wats new babes." I said
"Him was warning mi to tan wey, mi warned danny lass night to du de siem." She sighed once I looked at her bruise.
"He gave yhu dat bruise huh." I said once she nodded.
"Yeah cah mi do not wan listen." She said.
"Well fuck him." I said sighing.
"yuh kno whats mo shocking doh?" She said thinking to her self
"Wats shockin'?" I questioned

"Nah mi can't." She said when the door knob slowly twisted before Tracey had walked in.
"Oh Trace. Fi yuh here." Neddy said once she smiled. "im still loving dat picture yuh know."
"Wah picture." I bugged in.
"de one of mi an Trace." She said taking out her phone
"well dammmnn." I admired the photo. "Y'all slayed."
"Tank yuh tank yuh." Neddy said once Trace sat down quite.
"Yeah I love it." She said faked smiled once Neddy and I sat on the bed.
"Trace...." I said siting next to her. "Wats wrong."
"Nothin'. Really." She said. "I jus' wanted ta' come see y'all ."
"Yhu kno' Trace, yhu being so distant." I said.
"an its making it hawd to believe yuh seh its ok." Neddy said said
"We jus' wan' ta' make sure thangs are ight." I added.
"I'm good." She got up. "Where's Immy , Jordy, Trin and Lexi."
"lexi ah probably out wid dee caus him aint here edah.." Neddy said. "Jay left Immy at har place. Trin has been everywhere, wid guys of course an shordy gat someting shes dealing wid at de moment. deyll be here tomorrow."
"Oh ok." She said before she got a sms.
"Ohhh uhhh, arghhh. I gotta go." She said heading towards the door.
"Where to?" I said once she got to the door.
"Home."
"Trace-" the door cut me off as soon as she stepped out.

"Malcolm ." I said. "Can yhu please take me home?"
"Yhu jus' got here." He said mugging me.
"I have ta' do somethin' important, please." I said once he pissly got up.
"I'll be back." Was all he said before I heading to the door and walked out.
I went to stand by his car and waited for him to close the door and open his car.
I got in, and put on my seatbelt and waited for him to get in and pull out the drive way.
Once he hit the red light. He sighed heavily trying not to let mistakes come out his mouth....Caus he was mad.
"Trace.......I legit don't get it no mo." He said once I leaned on the window. "You've been actin' so weird fo' these past days. When we had sleep overs and all that..... yhu barely even spoke ta' anyone. Yhu just stayed in yo own corner or wrapped around me. Yhu call me by ma fuckin' name somethin' yhu never used ta' do." He said. "Watsup baby talk ta' me."
"Malcolm , let's not argue please." I said
"Wah do yhu mean let's not argue." He said driving past the light. "So yhu jus' wan' me ta' give up on ma' girlfriend and not try win her back."
"This isn't yhu." He said. "Where did ma baby go....Caus' I miss her." He said pulling up at my house.
"Really, Malcolm Ion fuckin' have time fo' this." I said getting out and slamming the door.
I looked back at him and he just silently sat there in shock shaking his head. Before he could drive away I looked at him and shook my head.
I sighed, teared up and wished he could come back. I fucked up real hard. I wish this was never happening to me.
I shook my head and turned around. If I could start from zero to ten, than I would be able explain.
I walked into the house, slowly shutting the door. "How long did it take u to walk in"
"Ahh." I shook turning around. "God yhu scared me."
"So wah did yhu get off em." He walked over to me....I looked at him and sighed before dropping my bag on the chair.
"Jer-Jeremiah is searchin' for more of da members." I stuttered. "Ant-Antoine is lookin' out on ru-rumours, Deejay a-a-and Danny are di-di-distractin' da girls from goin' out ah lot. TayK, Ma-Malik, Dave and Ma-Ma-Malcom......are focus on one thing."
"Which is what." He questioned
"I-Ion k-kno'." I said
"Anythin' else?" He said.
"No." I said
"Ight Good." He said. "Call me when there's anythin' else I need ta kno'." He said about to walk out.
"Clinton?" I said once he paused and turned back towards me. "Please don't hurt 'em."
"It is wat it is." He smirked before walking out.
I fell onto the ground and cried.
"Wat ah betrayer I am."
