[Ezra POV]
I can't believe she actually remembers. This so surreal for me, I was actually just gonna move on. I'm glad I didn't. I know things aren't just gonna be the same because we are grown and we aren't the same anymore. I rather take it day by day and see what happens. It's been a few days since what happened in her office. We've been in contact way more. Her whole demeanor changed when she remembered everything. My phone was ringing and guess who it was? I answered"Yes"
"Can you come over? Movie Night?"She questioned and I thought about it and thought why not?
"Yeah, I'll head over now . You know you don't have to rush this Aida right? I'm patient."I sighed rubbing my temples. Just like she's not the same Aida from years ago , I'm not the same Ezra I was years ago. Her not remembering me fucked me up seriously.
"It's a date" She cooed
I sighed once more "If it's a date then no, I will not be there Ms.Michelson" and with that she hung up the phone. She texted me

A.Michelson💦: You don't wanna hang with me. The date thing is just a silly metaphor that people use. You've been blowing me off for the past few day's. It's cool though I'll just let you be. See you around
I read her text.I honestly don't know what to say to her after all that. After all this stuff that went down with us. I don't know what to say. But I wonder who this Zay bitch is. Every time we don't hang she's caked up with that hoe. Yet, another reason I don't want to hang. Zay over so much her house fucking smells like Zay. Smells good, smells fucking amazing but that's besides the point being made.
Me and Aida just friends anyways, I shouldn't care anymore. The way I've been acting the past few days indicates that I don't wanna be in her life anymore, according to Jae and Rena. But we all know that I want her bad. I just in a weird head space after she remembered. I was so used to her not remembering me that I never prepared for her to actually remember me
huh I have some thinking to do. I know how she get's when she thinks I don't care. She'll ignore and avoid me till she thinks I've pleaded enough.
[Aida POV]
"I wonder why she all of a sudden do not want to hang. We supposed to be friends taking it one day at a time and she just blows me off. She's been rude. But what do I expect? Typical Ezra. just Typical" I rubbed my temples to prevent the head ache lurking it's way to the center of my head.
"I don't know either.Man maybe she's just trying wrap her head around the fact that her first for everything remembers her. Hell I mean it's been years and years of your memory lost. You broke her my nigga. Ezra from from back in the day is not Ezra now love. Excuse the use of nigga in your house but for real just give her time man. She'll come around" Zay layed her head in the curve of my back extending her hands to text on her phone. I sighed Zay is right as always. I feel warm droplets running down my cheeks. Why am I crying? I quickly wipe the tears from my face. Forgot to take my medicine. I'll tell y'all that story later. For now I'll just say I'm sane but not all the way together.
"Anyways booty we need to go do that thing,...Oh yeah that looking into Rena and Jae." I said popping one of my pills and before I swallowed it Zay smacked the back of my head making the pill fall into her hand before she took me by my chin. "Are you fucking crazy? You know you supposed to cut this pill in half. You know what it does to you when you don't. Do want an 'nother episode of me having to expunge your record the last time? You're to big in this city to be in jail. Having your name all of over the damn tabloids."
After her rant she used her other hand broke the pill with her teeth and gave me the other half and she threw the piece in her mouth away. She came back in and she hugged me tight and pulled away and She looked in my eyes and tapped my cheeks with a roughness "Good girl."Over the years me and Zay have gotten close. She's like everything I need but can't have, don't want either. And the feeling is mutual. We are like frenemies seriously. I mean we casually fuck from time to time. But In the real world we hate each other but care for each other. Shit it works for me. But as of recently with everything going on with Ezra she's been a great friend. Hell even drove me to Ezra's house.
My pills are for various things wrong. Zay is the only one that knows about it. I well I'm diagnosed bipolar and slightly schizophrenic. If I take the entire pill it well let's say you don't want to see me when I tap into schiz mode. I became this way after after that car crash. I also have a little PTSD. I function perfectly fine. Even when I'm off my meds. I only take them when I know I'm stepping into something that have my moods switching back and forth severely. My schizophrenia though only happens when I'm under truck loads of stress and anxiety. So I also have pills for that. So I don't start seeing and hearing shit that is not there. I wanna tell Ezra. Zay has been pushing me to tell Ezra. But what if she doesn't want me after she finds out? I don't know what I'd do.
"Well I dug into Rena's past a bit before you met her and It is erased pretty well but I know some people. Rena was into some really bad stuff. Do you know her father?" She asked pulling me out my train of thought
"Isn't her dad King?" I asked her and she opened her briefcase she brought to my house and opened it.
"No her real father is Big Mav. Real Name Maverick Johnson. " i stared at her confused
"Why isn't Rena's last name Johnson then?" I sighed
"Maverick didn't want people knowing he had a daughter. They'd try to hurt . Big Mav is the head of the largest human trafficking ring in New York , California, Seattle, and so on and so forth. This man had gone global. This is crucial to Rena's past because she posed as the girls that got trafficked to the huge money makers. But instead she'd kill them instead of fuck them. Another reason why her last name is Foster and not Johnson. As she got older she hated doing her dirt. Her father found out she was a lesbian. He's been looking for her ever since she's run away. That woman that Jae is with works for Maverick. " I slowly took every bit of information in then it clicked
"So basically the only Reason Rena hasn't got caught up is because Jae is protecting her by being with that dreadful woman? That woman is blackmailing Jae to be with her. I wonder what her father will do. That's his flesh and blood"I sighed then I wondered at about her mother
"Wait what about her mother" and Zay looked away and handed me a document. Looked like a police case file. The name Pamela Foster was written in black on the side of the manela folder. I opened it and regretted. A woman was beheaded and disembodied in the photo. Her head was on a spike and her body parts were in a pile surrounding the head. This must be Pamela. I closed the folder and looked at the big red stamp that said 'Closed Case'. They never found her murderer or murderers.
"Pamela wasn't happy with the fact that her daughter was training to be a killer and a week later, she winds up mysteriously dead. People know who did it but feared to speak up" Zay said. This story does run deep. Now I know why Rena didn't wanna say. Now I know why Rena immediately went to heartless ruthless Rena. She was made that way and that heartbreak made it worse.
"We gotta keep this under wraps. We can't poke this situation any further. " I said and I heard a door bell ring and I went down to answer it. Zay tailing behind me. I open the door and and I'm attacked with kissses and hugs.
"I'm sorry"Ezra said cupping my face and I looked at her and frowned
"Ezzie,I understand.Don't apologize. Aren't we supposed to be taking it slow. Keep kissing me" I playfully pushed her away. Zay was standing waiting for me to introduce her to Ezra.
Ezra was mugging her and Zay was smiling back at her.
"Ezra meet Zay, Zay meet Ezra" Isaid pushing her Ezra closer to Zay.Zay put her hand out for Ezra and Ezra looked at it and looked back at Zay "I don't like you. " Ezra said
"Why? Is it because I've been spending time with you're Aida? Or is it because I'm pretty " Zay smirked jokingly
"Ezra don't be jealous. Zay is just a...colleague and friend of mines" I was being truthful. Zay does work for one of the companies I'm working with.
"Let's hope so. I'm Ezra and your Zay. It may seem like you don't want her in any way but, just in case you start wanting her, I'll give you a word of advice. Don't. Also one more thing Don't get comfortable boo. Nice meeting you, you're very handsome" Ezra plastered a smile on for Zay. I never knew how she could low key threat and still be nice about it.
"You're crazy. Aida have fun with that. And nice meeting you too. Not to bad yourself " Zay winked at Ezra before striding out the door to her car.
As soon as the door shut , I was pinned against the door. Ezra was inches away from me. Her eyes pierced my skin on my face. It made me hot all over. She bent down and licked my collar bone to the flesh of my neck and bit down hungrily and started sucking on my neck. This made a pool form in my boxers. i need to stop this. I want to stop this. But she feels good right now. I tilted my head allowing her more access to my burning hot flesh. She stopped an planted kisses up till her lips touched mines and the battle for dominance began..
