Take me back to the times
Where we saw all the smiles
When we heard all the laughter
Living our little happy ever after
Feeling like I had in me the blood of a fighter
My world seeming so much brighter
Time is rushing by
We just see the clouds fly
The wonderful memories in my head
On the pages I just read
Wishing myself back to this
But the sunshine wakes you with a kiss
Reminding you that life goes on
And that there are still so many adventures to come
