You ran as fast as you can, your paws are hitting the floor. Shouts were heard behind you.
Yes, you're a puppy. (Deal with it xD)
You whimpered, scared of the man behind you. Ever since yesterday your mother abandoned you, you have been searching food to eat and well..you stole one...from a meat seller.
You looked back, seeing the man was still following you. You turned to right going in an alley, you hit a dead end.
Before you could get out of the alley the man suddenly blocked your way. "You little rascal. Stealing my meat."
You clenched your teeth putting more pressure on the meat you've had in your mouth.
"Now come here and give me that."
You gulped.
"Meow."
The man looked behind him and saw a black cat.
Run.
You ran again, passing through the man's side. You easily escaped him. Little did you know that someone was following you.

You reached your home which is a little box and just some torn newspapers. You put down your food and began eating it.
"Share some food. If it wouldn't be me you'd be dead by now."
You stopped and turned around, you saw the black cat again.
You stepped aside, giving him permission to eat. He walked up towards the food and ate it.
When both of you are done you just sat and looked at the cat while he's licking his paws.
"h-hi.."
The cat stopped and looked at you. "The name's levi."
"(Na-Name)."
Levi looked around and turned it's attention back at you. "Where's your mother?"
"She left me yesterday.." Levi's eyes soften as you spoke.
You yawned.
"You should go to sleep."
You nodded and walked to your little box, slipping in making yourself comfortable.
As seconds passed by you were now asleep. Levi still staring at you but then he walked towards where you slept and began making himself comfortable sleeping next to your side,
I don't mind protecting you.
He thought before he fell asleep.
