"So, let's move on to the wedding biz! I hear one of you here is tying the knot, Perrie." I smiled at the interviewer as she turned her attention to me. "I hear the wedding is well underway. Congratulations!" I nod my head and smiled as Leigh, Jade and Jesy start clapping their hands and cheering. "Thank you." I say as I tried to hide the blush creeping to my cheeks.
"Can we see the ring?" The interviewer giddily asks. I smile and nod my head. "Sure." I shyly stretch my hand so the camera could catch a short glimpse of it but the girls pulled my hand up and raised it. "Here it is, in all its blinding glory!" Leigh yelled which made everyone laugh. "It is blinding, isn't it?" The interviewer joked.
"So, how does it feel?" The interviewer asked. I couldn't help but smile like a school girl. "It feels fantastic, really. I couldn't be happier, I don't think there are enough words to express this." I say, earning a synced 'awe' from the girls and the interviewer. "What made you say yes?" The interviewer asked, a wide grin spread across her face. "Well, he's perfect. He is just so magnificent and he's the best thing I could ever ask for. Aw, pass me the sick bucket!" I say, making everyone laugh. "He's actually with us backstage." I added which made everyone in awe.
"Awe, that is so goals." The interviewer cooed. "Actually, I've never met a man care for a girl as much as Alex cares for Perrie. He's always with her on tour whenever he doesn't have a match, like he makes sure he's always there for her, he calls everyone to check up on her whenever she fails to pick her phone and he just does the sweetest things for her. He just loves her so much." Jesy says, making the audience's hearts melt.
"Alex is really a different species of man." Leigh jokes and sends everyone in laughter. "He is just so smitten with her and they are just just perfect for each other. We couldn't be happier for them." Jade says wrapping an arm over my shoulder. "Aww, thanks girls." I say, a blush creeping into my cheeks.
"Aww, my heart." I giggle at the interviewer's funny gesture, squeezing her chest. "But when's the wedding? Have you had the chance to really plan it? I mean, you guys are just starting with the second leg of tour." She asks. "Well, we pulled off Leigh's so I think we'll be fine and it's happening pretty soon. There's a gap somewhere there, long enough for the wedding and the honeymoon." I say. "Yup, we're just inserting it there." Jade jokes.
"Oh, so you have a date already?" The interviewer asks, a cheeky smile on her face. "Yep." I say nodding my head. "So are there any more plans you can share with us?" She asks. I threw my head back and laughed. "Oh,I don't think I can say anything more. It's definitely going to be in the UK for sure and it's going to be really small and intimate with our close family and friends. That's it, my lips are sealed." I giggled. "How about you girls? Do you know any tiny details you can share?" The interviewer tries to pry. "Oh, we know everything." Jesy snickers making everyone erupt in laughter. "But we're not anything." Leigh says.
"Aww. But, I think that's it. Thank you girls, congratulations on your tour. Leigh, congratulations on being married. Already two out of four married under a year. Perrie, best wishes." We all stand up and hug her and wave goodbye to the audience and to the camera and waited for the signal to go backstage.
"That was a fun interview." Leigh said as we made our way to our dressing room. "Yep, everyone's so excited for Pez." Jade said, clinging on my arm. "I swear no one will expect that when you said soon, you really meant next week. I'm sure everyone will be in so much shock when they see the pictures and IG stories." Jesy whispered and we all giggled.
"Well, he's perfect." Alex mimics what I've said earlier on the interview when I got in the room. I giggle and slightly hit him on the chest. "I hate you." I say as he engulfs me in a hug. "Of course you do." He jokes, pulling back and kissing the top of my head. "Don't worry babe, I think you're perfect too." He smirks.
"Get a room you too." Jesy yells from across the room, earning an eruption of laughter from everybody else.
"Is your suit ready?" I ask as I fix his collar. He smiles and rests his hands on my waist. "Yep. Arrived yesterday." He pulled me close and wrapped his hands around my waist. "And your dress?" He asks. "I'm picking it up with the girls after this. He leans down and brushes the tip of his nose with mine.
I was able to hire a really great wedding planner and she was just lovely. I would've done the planning by myself with the girls but with the new leg of the tour it was just impossible to get things done on time. She was a little new to the business, but she is just phenomenal. She was able to understand all my ideas and insights and she definitely got everything right. She would send me sketches and pictures and she would mail flower arrangement samples and cake samples to wherever city I am. She is just a life saver. And she was really quick and efficient as well, that's why we were able to finish everything in two months, just on time for our desired date.
"Wow, these flower arrangements are amazing Pez." I hear Leigh say. "Your wedding planner is truly a gem." Jade said. I was fitting into my dress before I took it with me and the assistant just finished zipping it up. "I know right." I say from behind the changing curtain. I turn around and looked at the mirror and smiled. "Wow." The young assistant said as she examined the dress on me. "Thanks." I squeezed her arm and smiled.
"Ready?" I say before sliding the curtain and revealing myself to them. "How do I look?" I say, foolishly posing. "Wow, Pez." Jesy says, looking at me from head to toe. "You look so beautiful." Jade said. "Oh, I'm gonna cry." Leigh said, fanning her eyes.
As soon as Leigh started crying, Jade and Jesy started to cry as well. "Our baby Pez is getting married." Jesy says, pulling me into a hug. I felt my eyes water at the sight of them. "Hey, you guys are making me cry." I say, wiping the tears before they even fall.
"You're such a beautiful bride." Leigh says, hugging me. Jade joined us and we all just huddled for a bit. "Good thing your mam isn't here. It would've been flooding in tears." Jesy jokes, making all of us giggle. When we were trying out for wedding dresses, I had the girls, my mam, Wendie and Ellie with me and it was just filled with waterworks. Both the mams were crying their eyes out when I finally found the dress.
Speaking of the dress, this is just the most perfect dress I've ever worn. The moment I saw myself in it I just burst into tears. I literally saw myself walking down the isle in it. I knew by then that it was the dress for me. Alex is going to love this as well.
I was going to walk down the isle in a matter of days and I'm in a roller coaster of emotions. I'm literally shitting myself yet I am head over heels excited. I can't wait to marry the love of my life. Just a few days more, we are so close to forever.
"Mam, please don't cry. The make up." I say from the make up chair as Adam and Aaron fixed my make up and hair. It was the day. And I'm trying so hard to be really calm but my stomach is already doing back flips on the inside.
"I just can't believe my baby is getting married." My mam says, covering her mouth with her palm. The girls comfort her, giving her a tissue and rubbing her back. "Why don't you take a seat, Debs." Jesy says. My mam nods and gets the water from Ellie. "Thanks Jes." I say as I stand up and looked at the mirror. I smile at my appearance, satisfied with my look.
"Ready?" Jade asks. It was just a matter of minutes now and I will be marrying the man of my dreams. My heart is beating in an abnormal pace and my stomach is just twisting and turning. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. "Ready as I'll ever be." I say.
I walk to the bed and pick up the card Alex had given, attached to the flowers he sent along with the wedding gift. He gave me a beautiful gold bracelet with diamonds in it and it was just lovely. I sat down on the bed and gently opened the envelope. "Go on, read it. We want to hear what he wrote." Leigh said. The door opened and revealed Wendie. She strode towards me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. "The letter you gave Alex was so beautiful, he literally went out crying". She stroked my hair and smiled.
"Aww, thank you for raising such a wonderful woman, Debs." She hugged my mam and they start crying again; the girls trying to console them. "Come on, Perrie. Read it." Caitlin said.

You know that thing they say that when you see the one---your destiny--you'll see them in slow mo? Like the world just stops around them and all you see is that person walking slowly towards you, and you get to take in all their details and all their features. Well, I didn't see a slow mo with you, Pez. I saw a flashforward. I saw you walking in a white dress, walking towards me who's in a black tux and tie. I knew in that very instant that you were going to be the one for me, the only person I'll spend the rest of my life with. I couldn't be more grateful to have met you, Perrie. You are the missing puzzle piece that completes my life. You are my one and only and I am for your keeping forever. I can't wait to marry you today, babe. I love you to the moon and back.

"Oh gosh, your make up." Adam says, snapping me out of my trance. I hadn't noticed that I was already crying. This man is the sweetest and I can't believe I was marrying him today.
"He is such a sweetheart." I say, gently wiping my tears. I look at the rest of the people in the room and they were all in tears as well. "Let's get you touched up." Adam says and fixes my make up. I scroll through my phone and saw that Alex had already posted a picture. We had an agreement that we would only let the public know about today on the day itself. We wanted to shock them so bad.
I smile at his photo, my man was dashing as usual. I'm just the luckiest girl in the world right now. "Have you seen his post?" I ask. "Yep, he looks pretty excited." Jesy said, smiling.

I was writing a caption when I heard a knocking on the door. My mam opened it and revealed my planner. "We're starting. I need everyone in position now." She said with a smile. "See you out there, Pez." The girls say after giving me hug. The mams kissed my cheek before they left and so did Adam and Aaron.
I was left in the room and examined myself in the mirror. This is it. I'm getting married to the best person in the world. This is it. I smile to myself and I just couldn't hide my happiness. I couldn't muster how extremely happy I am today. I've been dreaming about this day since I was a little kid and this couldn't be more perfect.
I hear a knock on my door and it revealed my dad. "Ready princess?" He asks. I press the post button and leave my phone on the dresser. I smiled at him, kissed his cheek and held his arm. "Ready." I took a deep breath and closed the door behind me. This is it.

I hear the music start to play and I clung to my dad's arms. "Don't cry dad." I say, rubbing his shoulder. "I'm just happy for you, sweetheart." He says. After the girls, Ellie and Caitlin had walked, we started walking as well and the minute I saw the setup I smiled. It was exactly what I had wanted and envisioned.
Everything was adorned with flowers and everyone looked so beautiful and happy. I smiled at the little flower girls walking in front of me. It was my neice, Jade's neice and Alex's neice. They were just darlings.
I look up front and immediately saw Alex. My heart leapt for joy and I just felt a surge of excitement and happiness course through my veins. I smile at him and he nods at me. I couldn't help but notice that he was already crying, big tears streaming down his face. He had his palms covering his mouth and he continued to look at me. He kept on wiping his tears, laughing at his state.
I laugh at him and start to feel my tears stream down my face as well. I just couldn't explain what I'm feeling right now. My heart is melting and I'm just on a high. I was walking towards my forever and I can't believe this day has finally come. We laugh at each other as our tears continue to fall.

I couldn't help but cry as I saw Perrie walk down the isle. She was beyond stunning with her wedding gown fitting her in all the right places. I always envisioned this day and now that it had finally come, I couldn't help but feel a whirlwind of emotions.
I keep on remembering her card from a while ago, along with the watch she gave me as a wedding gift. What she wrote on the card was short yet it was something that moved me a lot.

"Hey." I say as she reached me. Her dad gave me a quick hug and shook my hand. "Take care of her, lad." He said and I smiled. "Always." I say and he patted my shoulder. I take Perrie's hand and help her stay in front with me. "Hey." She said. She cupped my face with her palms and wiped the tears from my face, laughing. I laugh as well and do the same for her, earning an 'aww' from the guests.
The ceremony started and the whole time, I was just staring at Perrie. She was radiating with beauty today and I just couldn't make myself look away. It just hasn't really sunk in yet, I am marrying the girl that holds my heart. Together in front of our family, closest friends and to God, we vow our promises to each other to fill the forever that we were going to spend together.
"Perrie," I take her hand in mine and I smile at her blues meets my browns. "Uhm, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. You brought something great in to my life. I don't know what it is exactly, but all I know is that the moment you came, life just got a whole lot better. You brought out the best in me, not only as an athlete as everyone continues to believe but as a human being as well. I don't know what I ever did to deserve such an amazing woman such as yourself and to be worthy of your attention and your mere presence. I thank God and the heavens above every single day that He gave me such a generous, loving, kind, beautiful person, both inside and outside. You, You, Y-" My voice cracks as my tears violently trickle down my face. I sob as I try to wipe a tear out of my eye. "Aww, don't cry babe." Perrie says, cupping my face and wiping my tears with her thumbs.
"You are just a ray of sunshine, your smile brightens up the whole room---brightens up my whole world. I admire your love for everybody, you just love a ton of people and I feel so blessed to feel that love as well. It's not materials things that make me rich, it's your love. It makes me feel so alive, thank you for giving me that. On this day, I vow to love you and care for you and try my very best to be worthy of your love. Your happiness is my happiness and your pain will be my pain. I promise to be always honest with you, to be always kind, patient, forgiving and to support you in everything that you do. I promise to give Hatchi a bath on days you become too lazy to do so, I promise to keep the pantry well stocked with potato chips and to always have your favorite Disney movies on the ready. I promise I will never wake you up too early, only when I plan to surprise you. I remember from time to time you apologize for being too high maintenance, and I always say that it's okay because baby, I love maintaining you. I now see, feel, hope and know that the future ahead of us is going to be fantastic. I will be holding your hand through the whole journey towards forever and you will never walk alone. I will treat you like a queen and give you the love that you deserve. I will always keep you safe. Thank you for letting me mend your broken heart and thank you for giving it to me. I look up to Perrie and she was in tears as well. She brought her hand to my face, caressing it on the side and looking at me lovingly as she stroke her thumb on the path my tears took.
"How am I gonna top that?" She said with a shaky voice, making everyone laugh. She took a deep breath and held my hand. "Okay, uhm, a few years ago, I had my heart broken. I thought it was going to stay that way because I felt like I couldn't bear to love and get hurt again. I was afraid and so I built a fortress around my heart to protect it.But then you came along and you made me believe that my heart was still capable of being loved and to be in love. The love that you brought was so strong and powerful that it broke down the walls with just one knock. You saved my heart, Alex and you saved me. I thank God and all my lucky stars for sending you my way. I couldn't be more blessed to have such a caring, loving, kind and generous man in my life. You are just a gem, a rare gem I am very lucky to possess. You are just the most kindhearted man and I admire your compassion and care for others and I am so blessed that you chose me to be able to receive all your love. You are the love of my life and I don't think I could live my life to the fullest without you. You complete me and you add so much happiness in my life."
She stopped as her tears took over her whole face, taking a brief break to compose herself and wipe her tears away. I bring my hand to her face and gently wiped her tears away. "Oh I can't stop crying, I hate you." She says, chuckling in the middle of a sob making the guest giggle in contrast with the tears on their eyes.
"You told me when we first got together that you will always make sure that I am happy and loved. I'm pretty sure that you've fulfilled that promise because whenever I am with you I am at my happiest and even just the thought of you makes my heart flutter in love. Thank you for consistently making me laugh and thank you for wiping my tears when I cry. Thank you for showing me how much you love me, in both your actions and words. Thank for being there for me in times when I was at my worst. There were times when I saw you getting tired but you still continued to stay and hold me up and never have I ever saw you give up. Thank you, babe for being my backbone. Along with the girls, thank you for being a pillar that I hold on to." She broke down in tears again, sobbing as she gently dried her eyes. I pulled her close to me and kissed her forehead.
"I promise to be a better wife, more than being a girlfriend. I promise to be patient, forgiving and understanding. I promise to hold you, honor you, cherish and encourage you. Most of all I promise to love you. I will be your partner, your ally, your comrade and accomplice. I will always be you number one supporter, your cheerleader. I am your equal, in all the success and sorrows. I will share your happiness, what makes you sad will make me sadder and what will hurt you will me hurt me more. This is just the beginning of another chapter in our lives and I couldn't wish for someone else other than you to take with me on this journey. Hand in hand we will get through everything life throws at us because I know that when I am with you, nothing bad will happen and that I am protected. You no longer have to endure the pain of seeing me go back home, my love because from now on, you are my home. I give you my heart and it's yours forever. I promise to care for yours and to keep it safe from aches. I am deeply, madly and wholeheartedly in love with you and I promise to love you for the rest of my life. She said, hanging her head low, sobbing. I tried to wipe my continuously running tears and pull her closer to me. I wrap my arms around her and engulf her a tight embrace earning a loving reaction from everybody. "I love you." I whisper in her ears and she just pulls me closer and tighter.
My tears trickle down my face as I pick the ring up and slide it on her finger. Her hand was shaking along with her sobs. With a shaky hand, sje inserted the ring on my hand as well. We looked at each other and just laughed at our state. We brought our hands to each others faces and wiped the tears in unison, earning a reaction from everybody which just made us laugh.
I held her hand and just stared at her beautiful orbs. "I now pronounce you, husband and wife. You may now kiss your bride." The priest says, earning an eruption of cheers from everybody.
"Get in there, Chambo!" I hear guys from the team yell, causing me smile foolishly. The whole Liverpool FC team was here since all of them just really became my close friends. They started singing the chant they made for me and I just threw my head and laughed.
"C'mon show us some action!" I hear Jesy's voice echo followed by the cheers of the other girls and the lads.
I wrap my arms around Perrie's waist and pull her closer, her arms automatically snake around my neck. My hand travelled to the back of her head and pulled her face to mine. I leaned in and connected our lips, her fingers going through my hair. This was oir first kiss as husband and wife and I couldn't helo but smile in between the kiss. I pull Perrie closer as she responds to my kiss, hearing the loud cheers from everybody and the flashing sounds of the cameras. We pull back and connect our foreheads, smiling at each other. "I love you." I whisper and she smiled at me. "I love you." She said, leaning in for a peck in the lips and we engulfed each other in a tight hug before we face everybody. "There you have it everyone, Mr. and Mrs. Oxlade-Chamberlain!"
Our family and friends ran to us and congratulated us. The boys and the whole team ran to me and hugged me and patted my back and continued to cheer. Perrie on the other hand was pulled into a huddle with the girls.
"Congratulations, man!" Mo patted my shoulder and gave me a quick hug, patting my back. "Welcome to the club!" Bobby says, hugging me after Mo. "Thanks " I laugh, reciprocating the hugs and high fives. "You had better got it all on tape, Matt." I say as Matt walks towards me with a smile on his face. He hugs me and pats my back."I'm so happy for you man!" He says. "Aww, don't cry on me man." I joke, earning a laughter from everyone. "Congratulations, my boy!" Jurgen pats my shoulder and pulls in for a hug. "Thanks." I say, laughing. "I can already foresee all the goals and amazing performances from you." He added. I laughed and the other guys pulled me in and ruffled my hair. "Hopefully." I nod my head and smiled.
"So, who's next?" I ask as Jed, Harry and Andre approached. The team said hello to Andre as he was also a co-footballer. Jed and Harry and laughed and shook their heads. "We'll beat each other to it." Jed said, laughing.
"Aw, my baby!" Mam said, grabbing my face and pulling me in for a hug. "I'm so happy. Congratulations!" She said, tearing up. "Mam, don't cry." I laugh, hugging her. "I'm so proud of you son!" My dad said, hugging me after patting my back. "Dad are you crying?" I snicker as I saw him wipe his eyes. He laughed and ruffled my hair.
I make my way to Perrie and rest and hand on her waist, pulling her to me. I smile as I see her laughing and smiling. "Aw, you two are just the cutest." Jade says. " Congratulations you too." She added, tapping my shoulder. " Thanks Jeed." I say making both her and Perrie laugh. "Aw, let me give you hug." Jesy said, hugging me and so did Leigh. "You take of our little Pez here, okay?" Leigh said as she let go. "I always am." I say, smiling. "He always is." Perrie says, holding my hand.
"Aw, Alex thank you!" Debbie says, pulling me in for a hug. Her dad pats my shoulder and smiles, hugging me. "Thank you, son." He says and my heart jumps for joy at what he just called me.
"Welcome to the family, darling." My dad says to Perrie as he pulls her in for a hug. "Thank you, Perrie." Mam kisses her cheek and hugs her really tight. I think almost everyone went up to us and congratulated us.
We proceeded with the photo ops right after. Ones with our family, friends, the team. There was one with only Perrie and the girls and then me and just the team. It was just really fun, we were just fooling around and took pictures with everyone. It was definitely a magical experience.
"Mmm, Alex we can't yet." Perrie said as she pulled back, placing a hand in my chest. "There are guests waiting." She giggled as I released her from my grip. We went up to freshen up before we head to the reception.
I took the blazer off and loosened my dress shirt. Perrie also changed into another dress and put her hair down. I felt like I was on a high right now. We're married. I have this really warm feeling in my heart and I can't help but smile to myself as I wait for Perrie to finish. I scroll through my phone and saw a post from Perrie a few minutes ago. She probably posted it when we got up. I smile at the caption and marvelled at the photo.
