After that day raven kept saying sorry but I told her it was fine also I found out John on my team was my old best friend that moved away.Me and raven are still hanging out but not as munch to be honest we don't hang out like we used to.What I mean is ever Monday,Wednesday,Friday we hang out mainly at a cafe in Vale Kingdom and if not then somewhere at Beacon Academy or in Vale Kingdom.When we went to the cafe we would always catch up on talking about time's when we were kids or about our teammates,Catch up,play board games,Prank call people you know best friends having a great time.But after that day in the park Raven became fond of Tai like a lot I mean he replaced me you know what's funny after that she told me something.
FLASHBACK TO THE DAY AFTER THE DAY IN VALE
Me and raven were walking around Beacon Academy. I was talking to Raven and kept saying sorry but, I told her it was fine.That's when she said something that got me to focus on her. Not that I wasn't already but still.
Raven:Y/n I'm sorry and I promise that I won't do that again no matter what Tai couldn't replace you no one can
Y/n:Just like when we were kids
Raven:just like when we were kids I promise no matter what happens we'll always be best friends and Tai won't replace you everything will be the same I promise, I cross my heart.

FLASHBACK ENDED BACK TO PRESENT
She broke the promise right now I was sitting at the cafe it was Friday this was the third time, Raven has missed this.She didn't call and tell me if she canceled or can't make it and leaves me at the cafe waiting hours till I give up and left. I was on my scroll looking through some old pictures when my scroll was getting a call it was John.I answer the call since I've been out for about six hours probably had him and the team worried.
Y/n:Hello
John:Hey man come back
Y/n:What why Raven might show up
John:She won't trust me
Y/n:What why's that
John:Well as of right now she and Tai are at Beacon Academy having a nice day together
Y/n:She forgot again*sigh*of course she did, what's new I'll be back soon

I get up and leave the cafe and head to landing pad and get on a bullhead back to Beacon Academy. When it lands I walk out to be greeted by Summer who tackled me into a hug.
Summer:Y/n your back
Y/n:Yep what's up with you
Summer:Y/n its' you and Raven what's going on
Y/n:She's replacing me with Tai that's what
Summer:Oh wow that explains a lot are you doing okay
Y/n:Honestly no i'm not she keeps ditching me at the cafe and just plans on out ditching me like I get we don't need to hang all the time but last time we hanged out was a month ago.Now all it is Tai she doesn't bother to say hello or at least meet me at the cafe but nope.
Summer:I'm sorry y/n
Y/n:Don't be Summer it's not your fault, it's Raven's choice
Summer:Alright let's head to my team dorm and hang out makeup for Raven missing out on your guy's day to hang out
Y/n:Sound good to me
Me and Summer head back to her teams dorm to see it empty which was fine to me because I really didn't wanna see Raven or Tai right now. Me and Summer were having a good time I texted my team so they knew where I was at. Soon most of the day me and summer spent together and honestly it was a great time and this was the most fun I had in days. But like all good thing they come to an end as me and Summer were playing a fighting game when her dorm door opened up and in walked Raven and Tai who were chatting until they entered the dorm seeing the two of us. My once very big smile faded away when I spotted the two mainly when I saw Raven I turned back around not saying hi to either one acting like they weren't there.
Raven:Hey Summer and y/n
Tai:Hey guys
Summer:Hey Raven,Tai
I just waved not looking at them not really wanting to around the two like I said before and I still stick with that.Yes there is a part of me that loves seeing Raven and holds my feeling for her but those feelings are growing very everyday. While I do still contain them I'm not worried about that right now, all this feeling of pain is from Raven. I think the two notice something was up with me as One.Their being silent as their always chatting up a storm Two. I always say to everybody and i'm always in good mood.
Raven:Y/n is everything alright
Y/n:Yeah everything is just peachy Raven
Tai:Come on man we know something is wrong you can tell us we're your friends
Summer:He's had a long day guys alright he's not really in the mood to talk right so leave him alone okay
Raven:But we just heard you guys laughing and chatting it up

I walk past them bumping into their shoulders on the way out of there dorm I walk to my dorm and enter to see John and Maria were there.They both turn to me and great me with a smile and a wave which I wave back and sat down on my bed hiding my face in the palms of my hands.I can feel my teammates eyes on me worried about me and we're gonna find out soon.
John:Alright man tell us what's wrong
Y/n:Two names Raven and Tai
Maria:I see but at least you had a good time with Summer right
Y/n:Yeah your right about that Maria it's just that I can't keep taking this kind abuse from Raven being thrown away like trash,After everything I get replaced by a guy she met at Beacon Academy after her promised.
Maria:We know that's why it bother us for you to be like this
Y/n:Thanks guys but I think I'm gonna take a nape
(Time skip to Beacons Academy dance)
I was standing by the punch bowl minding my own but to be honest I was looking at Raven she looked beautiful she was in a black dress.The dress was long and she worse some black high heels while I was wearing a black tux with a black tie suit jacket unbuttoned and wearing a formal black vest and a white button up shirt. Raven was on the dance floor slowly dancing with Tai,Qrow was hitting on a girl,John and Maria were also slow dancing,Jill and Vincent were kissing huh so I guess there a thing now. I felt a tap on my shoulder I turned to see Summer in a red dress that went to her knees and some red high heels.To be honest she looked amazing I mean any guy would be lucky to be with a girl like her.Yes she looked amazing but my heart was still out for Raven even after everything she put me through now you must wondering what happened. Well Raven stopped hanging out with me I was a ghost to her and she was all over Tai and that hurt .
Summer:Enjoying the dance
Y/n:No not really
Summer:Same here never liked high heels
Y/n:Well it's just you and me everyone else is busy say you wanna dance
Summer:I would love too but I never dance before
Y/n:It's okay just follow my lead
I take Summers hand and lead her to the dance floor and soon we stood in the middle of it and started to slow dance, when a new sing started to play.I tossed John my suit jacket and he caught it and put it on my chair, I held Summer's right hand with my own and my left hand on her hip.I started to slow dance with Summer moving around slowly becoming the center of the dance.I spun Summer around a couple of times then spun her out so she was standing in the middle of dance floor with one arm out and with me holding her right hand. I then pulled her back spinning her a bit before I held her against me, my right hand still holding her right hand while my left hand was wrapped around her waist.I started to move us around again and soon Summer moving around along with it. Like I said we had all eyes on us as we were swiftly moving around the dance floor and I think some were amazed but I could feel a set of upset eyes on us. But I wasn't focused on that I looked Summer who had a big smile on her face and was laughing a bit. I am glad to see my best friend having a good time and felt like we were rubbing it in everyone's face expect my teams and Qrow. Beside those five everyone else and to be honest I was glad cause two of those people we were rubbing it there faces were Raven and Tai cause when I saw Raven she seemed upset at the scene. With one final move I dipped Summer down my left hand still holding her back(You know when people dance and at the the guy or girl dips there partner down but still holding them up).I pulled Summer back up who was laughing and I chuckled a little and I was glad she had a good time.
Summer:That was so much fun
Y/n:Yeah, it was, hey you wanna go outside and walk around just you and me
Summer:Sure
Y/n:Alright let me grab my suit jacket and we can head out
Summer:Alright I'll wait for you outside
I walked over to the chair with my suit jacket on it I grabbed it and turned around to be greeted by the two faces that One I dread seeing right now Tai the second one made my heart skip a beat and make me blush but there's a new feeling pain.
Y/n:Tai, Raven what do you need
Raven:Mind telling me why you did our dance with Summer(You and Raven use to practice dance moves with each other)
Y/n:Hmm let me think about for a moment oh yeah how about no anyways i'll see you around

I walked out of the hall and see Summer, we start walking around I told summer my very small chat with Raven and Tai. Summer got cold so I wrapped her with my suit jacket since I was fine without it .She thanked me with a bit of a blush we soon got back to walking and talking. I could hear people following us but I wasn't worried as I knew who it was. It was a footsteps of my team and the rest of STQR guessing my team and Qrow were trying to stop Taiyang and Raven from bothering us but failing.
Summer:I can't believe Raven talks to you over a da-

Me and summer turned around to see Raven and Tai coming toward us both looking pissed I'm guessing it's me.
Y/n:Oh hey Raven Taiyang what do you guys need
Raven:What is your deal lately you've been acting different lately
Y/n:I have?what do you mean?
Raven:You have been cold towards me lately and have stopped talking to me and I've hardly seen you why?
Y/n:You kidding me Raven I'm not the cold one you are and you still don't see that. Raven you know what you've put me through you constantly forget about me, and always ditching me on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We use to always go to the cafe together, I would have cared less if you at least did that but no. I would go there waiting hours upon hours waiting for you to show up or get a call. No instead I leave spending most of my day there just to find you've been with Tai for the whole day you could at least tried and call me but no, you couldn't even do that.I haven't smiled in the past weeks because of you and Tai, Raven you broke your promise.You broke the promise that I wouldn't get replaced and be best friends and trust me Raven I'm not saying every day or week we have to hang out.But you just stop trying while I kept trying. When we use to hang out you started to cut our hangs out an cafe time shorter for Tai. Thats hurts me watching you slowly replace me and I tried but you kept pushing me away. I mean are we even friends anymore cause this not the same raven I remember.
Tai:Hey don't talk to her like that
Y/n:Go fuck yourself Tai this isn't about you
Tai:Yes it is you asshole
Taiyang then punched me across the face soon the rage took me over I swung back my head back bringing my right fist with me.I right hooked him across the face before he could recover I threw a left hook then jabbed him in the gut knocking the air out of him.I grabbed his shoulder punching him across the face this time knocking him to the ground.I got on top of him and started punch his face over and over with both of my fist I could hear Summer begging me to stop, Raven yelling for us to stop.But I wasn't listening I was blinded by rage I soon felt arms wrap around me pulling me off of Taiyang. I look back to see John who was restraining me telling me to calm down and soon I calmed down. I looked at Tai to see he had a black eye broken nose a couple cuts and bruise but nothing to bad. Everyone was checking up on Tai except John who was still holding my arms.
John:You good man
Y/n:Yeah thanks
Rave come up to me I was waiting for a punch or slap but never got one instead my wrist was grabbed and she dragged me away from the group. When we were at a good distance Raven turned around with a very pissed face.
Raven:Where is this all coming from why are you so bothered with me hanging out with him
Y/n:Did you not hear what I said back there Raven
Raven:I did but I know it's more than that now tell me
I couldn't hold back my feelings anymore and I was gonna release years of holding back my feelings.
Y/n:It's because I love you Raven I have since we were eight I wasn't sure at first but as time went by I figure out that I was in love with you.
Raven was took back from hearing this it shocked her but it soon went to a sad face I knew what was coming.
Raven:I'm sorry y/n but I don't feel the same I love Tai me and him just started dating
My whole world crash right there and then I wasn't sure on how to react but I got myself back together soon.
Y/n:I respect your choice Raven since we don't choose who we love, but I don't understand why him. Why him after everything we've been through I always protected you I been through everything with you. So I don't get it, years of trying to get you to love me flushed down a drain by a guy you met at Beacon Academy. What makes him so perfect that all we've been through doesn't matter*Says a sad calm tone*
Raven:You know why it's because he's better than you in every way hell he's been a better friend than you have in sixteen years.Why can't you be happy with my choice you have to come and ruin it by beating up my boyfriend and telling me this.I DON"T WANNA SEE YOUR FACE EVER AGAIN YOU JERK YOU SELFISH JERK.HELL I DON'T WANNA BE YOUR BEST FRIEND YOU UNDERSTAND ME STAY AWAY FROM ME AND TAI AND IF YOU SO MUCH AS HURT HIM I WILL MAKE YOU SUFFER GOT IT NOW LEAVE I DON'T WANNA EVER SEE YOU AGAIN!
Y/n:*Starts crying*FINE IF THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT THEN WERE NOT BEST FRIENDS ANYMORE AND YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO SEE ME AGAIN SINCE I'M LEAVING AND I'LL TELL YOU THIS DON'T EVER LOOK FOR ME AGAIN!
Raven:GOOD GO LEAVE!
I ran away in tears streaming down my face she really hated me I ran back to my dorm grabbing a duffel bag. I grab my weapon and my wallet, clothes and other thing I needed, I was leaving I couldn't stay here any longer and suffer from Raven after all she hates me now.I turn to leave when I saw my team and Summer there looking at me tears stained on there faces.
Y/n:I'm sorry guys but I gotta go I can't stay here any longer with them after everything they did to me and I know your gon-
I was cut off when my time pulled me into a group hug I was shocked by this but soon wrapped my arms around them best I could.
John:It's okay man we're not gonna stop you, your like a brother to us we support you no matter what
Maria:Thank you for everything I'll miss you so much but I respect your choice but thank you for everything
Jill:Be safe out there if you die I'll dig your corpse back up just to kick your ass
Vincent:If you need anything just ask we'll always be there for you
Y/n:Thank you guys so much for everything you've been the best team ever

My team soon let me go and Summer tackles me into a hug almost knocking me to the floor she had me in her bear hug.

Y/n:Please don't cry summer I'm sorry but I have to do this I hate leaving you guys but pull through for me and become the greatest huntsman

I turn around to see Qrow standing in the doorway looking at me with a sad smile, I smile at him holding my arms out for a hug. He walks up to me and pulls me into a hug which I hug back we sat there for a minute before we pulled away.
Qrow:Be safe I don't wanna have to bury my best friend now
Y/n:No promises
Qrow:You can never stay out of trouble can you
Y/n:Nope anyways I'll see you guys around and it's been fun bye
I walked out of my dorm heading to the landing pad since my team messaged me telling me that they already told the headmaster I was leaving and the reason.I get on the bullhead I pull out my scroll and plug in some headphones and started playing a song.
The bullhead landed soon and I got off with fresh tears on my face and some pictures in my hand.I walk off heading to a train station to take me to my parents home, to visit them and just travel around getting work were ever I could.
