We walked through the trees of Lothlorien and I  could feel people approaching but was too tired to say or do a thing. From the scent they are Elves. Let's hope they have the good of intentions.

"Stay close, young hobbits! They say that a great sorceress lives in these woods. An elf-witch of terrible power. All who look upon her fall under her spell...and are never seen again." Gimli whispered.

"Gimli stop it" I said, turning toward Frodo to see him rooted in his place so I walked to him kneeling to his level, "Frodo, what's wrong?" I asked worriedly.

"Mr. Frodo?" Sam called and Frodo instantly turned to us shaking his head. I don't believe him but still nodded.

"Well, here is one dwarf she won't ensnare so easily. I have the eyes of a hawk and ears of a fox." Gimli said turning around for arrows pointed at him. We were all surrounded with Elves pointing arrows at the instantly.

"The dwarf breathes so loud we could have shot him in the dark." One Elf said and I instantly growled at him angrily.

"Haldir of Lorien. We come here for help. We need your protection." Aragorn said in Elvish tongue nodding to the Elf.

"Aragorn! These woods are perilous! We should go back." Gimli said.

"You have entered the realm of the Lady of the Wood. You cannot go back." Haldir said meeting Frodo's eyes , "come. She's waiting." He continued leading them through the woods. They followed in silence as I keeping at the back of the company to make sure the Hobbits are all accounted for. The woods were absolutely breath taking unlike the woods of king Thranduil's. Those were bright and beautiful. I heard that Woodland was as beautiful as this one but darkness made it dull.

Haldir lead us to a hall in the highest tower. Coming to stop in front of the stairs watching the elf lord and lady climb down the few stairs toward them.

"Nine there are here, yet ten there were set out from Revendell. Tell me, where is Gandalf? For I much desire to speak to him." Celeborn asked.

"He has fallen into shadow." Galadriel whispered and Aragorn nodded grimly.
"The quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little and it will fail to the ruin of all." She continued meeting Boromir's eyes before turning to the Hobbits, "Yet hope remains while the company is true. Do not let your hearts be troubled. Go now and rest for you are weary of sorrow and much toil. Tonight, you will sleep..." she said meeting Frodo's eyes.

I curled on one of the beds we were offered lost in my own memories. Losing Gandalf triggered memories of the people I lost years before. I never want to lose more people again. It hurts so much. A hand placed on my back made me turn around to find Legolas with a jug of water in hands.

"Luth, here drink something" he said softly offering me a glass that he just filled with water

"Bless you, Legolas" I said sitting up taking the glass he offered taking a sip of it.

"How are you feeling?" He asked.

"Tired and sad" I answered.

"It will be fine, Luth. We will continue the journey for Gandalf" he said taking hold of my hands in his slightly bigger than hers.

"Thank you, Legolas." I whispered hugging him.

"You're welcome, Luth." He smiled hugging back, "Go to sleep. Tomorrow we will continue the journey and you would need all the energy you can get." Legolas said and I nodded laying back again pulling the covers up snuggling to them.

The following morning, they sailed away from Lorien after goodbye gifts from the Elves. I shared a boat with Legolas helping him paddle it towards the shore.

"Uruk-hai!" I whispered.

"They won't get us." Legolas said softly.

"You saw them?" I asked looking back at him.

"Yes. You smelled them?" He asked with a smile and I nodded turning back to look in front of me to see two huge statues. The statues of the kings of old.

"The Argonath. Long have I desired to look upon the kings of old. My kin." Aragorn said from the nearby boat.

"Our kin" I corrected making him chuckle.

"Yes, our kin." He nodded. We paddled to the shore starting a fire. "We cross the lake at nightfall. Hide the boats and continue on foot. We approach Mordor from the North." He said.

"Oh, yes? Just a simple matter of finding our way through Emyn Muil an impassable labyrinth of razor-sharp rocks. And after that, it gets better. Festering, stinking marshland as far as the eye can see." Gimli said.

"That is our road. I suggest you take some rest and recover your strength, Master Dwarf" Aragorn said.

"Yes, you guys plan the road. I am going to the nearby lake" I said going into the woods making it to a small body of water taking off my clothes and getting into the water washing my body. Loud growls made her look around eyes widened then jumped out of the water shifting to her huge black wolf form and taking off toward the ruins. Taking a huge leap I bit the head of the one who was about to attack Aragorn from behind. He looked at me for a while in shock.

"Aragorn! Luth!" Legolas shouted as he joined the battle.

"Luth?" Aragorn met my blue eyes and I nodded.

Luth's wolf

Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and I fought the main forces of Uruk-hai. When the horn of Gondor were heard and we sprinted toward it all while killing Orcs right and left. When I finally got there Borrmir was on the ground dying with Aragorn next to him.

"Frodo, where is Frodo?" Boromir asked.

"I let Frodo go." Aragorn answered.

"Then you did what I could not. I tried to take the ring from him." Boromir said.

"The ring is beyond our reach now." Aragorn said.

"Forgive me. I did not see it. I have failed you all." Boromir said.

"No Boromir. You fought bravely. You have kept your honor." Aragorn said trying go remove the arrows.

"Leave it. It is over. The world of Men will fall and all will come to darkness and my city to ruin." Boromir said.

"I do not know what strength is in my blood but I swear to you I will not let the White City fall nor our people fail." Aragorn said.

"Our people." Boromir whispered and Aragorn nodded, "Our people." He reached for his sword panting and Aragorn handed him the sword. At that moment Legolas reached me, "I would have followed you, my brother. My captain. My king." He breathed his last at that moment.

"Be at peace son of Gondor" Aragorn whispered kissing his forehead then closing his eyes. I sat on my hind legs next to Legolas and Gimli who just joined them letting out a mighty sad howl. Legolas reached out placing a hand to my head in conuncil.  I met his eyes before howling a strong howl filled with sadness and anger before walking away toward my clothes were pulling them on as soon as I transformed back to human form then making it towards the lake.

"Frodo's fate is no longer in our hands." Aragorn said.

"Then it has all been in vain. The Fellowship has failed" Gimli said.

"Aragorn?" I called from behind him.

"Not if we hold true to each other. We will not abandon Merry and Pippin to torment and death. Not while we have strength left. Leave all that can be spared behind. We travel light. Let's hunt so orc." Aragorn said running into the woods.

"Yes!" Gimli shouted following after Aragorn and Legolas.

"I can see him a king already" I smiled following the three.
