Ashton- It's like we never happened, was it just a lie?
"Ashton," Y/N spoke softly as I felt the mattress dip under me. I wrapped my arm around her waist and laid my head in the crook of her neck. "Yes baby," I breathed out. She shakily moved my arm an turned to face me. "Ashton, I have to tell you something. This," she gestured to the room around us, "isn't real. I mean at least how it started isn't real. The only reason why we're together is because of a bet I'm in." Her glassy eyes stared into my now broken soul. "What do you mean?" I stammer out. "My friends bet that I couldn't get your number. After I did we kept on raising the bet we tried to see how long we could last. I needed the money Ashton, you know that. I just can't do this anymore. I'm not in love with you and seeing you fall for me is terrifying because I know I'm not gonna be able to catch you and you're just gonna shatter. I'm so so sorry." The tears started streaming down her face but I could barely see them through my own. "Y/N I love you so much. I can forgive you for the bet I don't care. I just want you. I want you in my life. In my arms. Whatever I can get I wan-" "Ashton I can't do this," she stammers as she slips out from the blanket containing us, "I think it would be better if we both just forget that this thing between us ever happened." And with that she shuts my bedroom door leaving me to inevitably shatter and start the long process of trying to forget what I thought was truth.
Calum- When he says those words that hurt you do you read the ones I wrote you?
"Hello?" I mumble into my phone. "Calum? This is Y/N" her voice is soft and low like she doesn't want anybody to hear, "I, um saw the letters you sent me. They're really sweet. I never knew you felt that deeply about me." My heart swelled at hearing this she saw my letters the ones that put my heart where they belong in her hands. I chuckled, " Y/N I can't even describe how much you mean to me." I could hear her sigh on the other end, "Look I really appreciate you sending them to me but could you not do it again? My boyfriend doesn't appreciate it. He's a little possessive." "Y/N! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING TOO!" there was a gruff voice on the other end screaming at Y/N. I heard her mumble, "I was calling Calum to-" That's when I heard the unmistakable sound of hand hitting face. "LOOK AT ME BITCH! YOU DON'T TALK TO HIM I TOLD YOU THAT! GET THE HELL BACK IN THE BED NOW. HE DOESN'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THE SLUT YOU ARE." I could hear her whimpering in the background. "Just let me tell him bye. He at least deserves that. please." "Fine hurry up." I heard Y/N rush back to the phone. "Bye Calum, I love you." the last part she whispered almost silently. "I love you so so much." But I doubt she heard me say that because of the loud thud from her hanging up.
Luke- I remember the day you told me you were leaving I remember the makeup running down your face.
I can't believe she would actually do that. I can't believe she would harm her beautiful skin. I can't believe she would leave me forever. I can't believe I didn't stay with her. I can't believe I didn't see it through the mascara streaks on her face. I can't. That's all I can think right now. I can't do this, I can't read her letter. I can't get the image of her sprawled out on the bathroom floor with a blade and crimson surrounding her. But I have to. I open the letter to see her big loopy handwriting. Luke, I love you eons, but I'm leaving. Not on a trip or to move to another city. I'm leaving forever. Because even you were oblivious to what was happening. Oblivious to the monsters inside me, attacking me. I just can't fight anymore. Apparently I just needed a sharp blade to slay my monsters, not a knight in shining armor. I love you so damn much Luke. That was the only thing that kept me going this long. So thanks. Farewell and one last kiss -Y/N x "One last kiss." I whisper before brushing my lips on the paper
Michael-If today I woke up with you right beside me Like all of this was just some twisted dream I'd hold you closer than I ever did before
"Maybe this is all just some nightmare. And I'll just wake up to you Y/N. God I miss you so fucking much." I mutter before popping a big handful of pills in my mouth. I wash it down with a big swig of tear infused vodka. My calloused thumb runs over the worn picture of you. I continue to drink the vodka, through the convulsions, through the almost vomiting. Finally I feel the death mixture working. "I'm gonna see you soon baby." I kiss the picture one last time before everything fades away hopefully bringing far from this bad dream.
