Jack walked out of the doors and I felt my whole world falling to peices.
I walked back into the autitorium.
Jonah, Corbyn, Zach, and Daniel just stared.
James looked down.
"Where's Jack?" Daniel asked.
"He left." I said looking down.
"Uh oh." Jonah said.
"What?" Corbyn asked.
"David knows the cars missing." He said.
"Sarah we have to go." Zach said. "Congrats on your special day."
He handed James a poster with my picture on it and a sign congratulating me.
We hugged and he ran out.
Daniel and Jonah handed Dillan and Seans posters and signs to Dillan.
They both kissed me on the cheek and ran off.
James pulled me closer to him.
Corbyn looked me close in the eyes.
"I still think it's Jack." He whispered into my ear.
He gave me a hug and walked out.
I turned around to face James.
He smiled and put out his hand.
I hesitated and grabbed his hand.
We began walking up the stairs.
Dillan associated with some of his friends.
I turned to face the stage.
I saw two firmiliar faces standing on the stage.
I looked closely.
"Dad? Jeff?" I said softly.
"What?" James asked.
It was my dad and Jeff. They were waving at me.
They were telling me to come.
I let go of James hand.
"What is it?" He asked staring to the direction of the stage.
"It's my dad. And Jeff!" I said running down the stairs.
"No wait Sarah!" He tried grabbing my hand and missed.
I ran down and began running down the isle.
"Sarah?" I heard Dillan say.
But I didn't care. I just wanted to see my brother and dad.
"Dad! Jeff!" I called.
They stood there smiling.
"Dad! Jeff!"
I got to the stage.
"Sarah!" Dillan called after me.
I ran onto the stage.
I looked around.
"Dad?" I called. "Jeff?"
I turned around.
"Sarah!" Dillan ran over and hugged me.
I sunk to the ground.
"I really thought it was them." I cried.
"I know baby." He said sitting down next to me and holding onto me tight. "I know..."
I cried so hard.
"Why?" I asked.
"Why what?" He wondered.
"Why did it have to be them?" I questioned. "Why couldn't it be someone else?"
"Because he knew you could take it." He answered. "He knew you will get through it."
"But I c-can't." I cried harder. "I miss them so much."
"I know how you feel." He said pulling me in a little closer. "But some times, we just have to let them go. And we have to understand, they're in a way better place now."
"Do you miss Davynah?" I asked.
"Tons." He answered. "Ya know..."
"What?" I looked up at him. "You remind me so much of her. Independent. Lovable. Soft hearted. Crazy. Not a quitter. A dream chaser. Excetera."
"You remind me of Jeff." I said crying into his chest. "Worryful. Always smiling. Protective. Encourager. Motivator. Understanding. Excetera."
We both started laughing.
He stood up and pulled me up.
"Let's go." He smiled.
James stood there.
"I'll meet you guys up there." James said walking away.
Dillan and I began walking down.
I turned my head a little to look at the stage once more.
My dad and Jeff stood there.
Jeff in a gown.
"You made it." Jeff mouthed.
"You did it princess." My dad mouthed.
"I love you." They both mouthed.
I smiled.
They both grabbed hands.
Jeff put out his hand.
A girl walked over and grabbed it.
She smiled and looked at Dillan before looking back at me.
It was Davynah.
"Take care of him please." She mouthed.
I nodded.
She was in a gown.
"Hey Dillan do you have Davynah's cap?" I asked.
"Yeah." He opened up his gown and grabbed out a cap.
I turned back to the stage.
We moved the tassel from one side to another.
I gave it back to him.
"Thank you." Jeff and Davynah mouthed.
My dad smiled. "I'm proud."
"What are you looking at?" Dillan asked turning around to look at the stage.
They all disappeared.
"Nothing." I smiled.
He pulled me in closer and we walked up the stairs.
I turned back to the stage.
My dad, Jeff, and Davynah were waving their hands goodbye.
I waved softly.
"Goodbye." I said softly.
(Jack)
I walked out and to the car.
"JACK!!!" Zach yelled running over.
"What?" I said.
"David noticed the cars not outside." He said.
"Shoot."
Jonah ran over with the keys.
"Lets go!"
We all hopped into the car.
We began driving away.
"So..." Corbyn said. "Jack..."
"Huh?" I was confused.
"What happened between you and Sarah?" Daniel asked.
"Yeah like...details!" Zach said.
"Like what happened!?" Jonah asked.
"You guys sound like girls." I laughed.
"Jack..." They all groaned.
"Nothing happened between us." I said looking down at my fingers.
"Cmon, we know that's a lie." Daniel said. "Something happened. Because if nothing happened, she wouldn't have come back into the room."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Because, when girls are truly heart broken, they never come back. Unless something different happened." Corbyn said. "For example, if you kissed her-"
I looked up.
"How'd you know I kissed her!?" I covered my mouth.
"YOU KISSED HER!!!???" They all yelled.
I looked down again.
"I've said too much." I said.
"No you've said just enough." Zach said.
"Well then what are you waiting for, go snatch her before it's too late." Daniel said.
"It's already too late." I said. "She's with James, remember?"
"Man screw James, she wants to be with you." Jonah said. "Even her own self knows that."
"I don't know." I said. "I don't want to jump in the middle because that will make me look really bad and I don't want to destroy something that she's happy with."
"But you're the one she's happy with, not him." Zach complained.
"Not in the eyes of others." I said.
It went silent.
The whole drive was silent the rest of the way to the house.
-Time skip-
We all got out of the car.
We walked in.
"Where have you all been!?" David asked.
We all looked away as if none of us heard him.
"Where have you all been!?" He demanded for an answer.
They all looked at me.
"We went-" I began.
"Jogging sir." Jonah cut me off.
"You guys went jogging?" He asked.
We all nodded.
"IN SUITS??" He said.
We all looked down remembering we were wearing suits.
"Uh yeah, gotta look nice while doin it." Daniel claimed.
"Guys lets not lie." I said. They all looked down. "We sang at a graduation."
"A graduation..." David said.
"Yup." We all nodded.
"A high school graduation?"
"Yup."
"A graduation here in California?"
"Yup."
"Sarah's graduation?"
"Yup!" Zach said. He covered his mouth. "I mean...no...no"
We all slapped our foreheads.
"So you guys went to Sarah's graduation." David said.
We all nodded.
"Yes sir."
"That is not my buisness." He said.
"What?" We all looked up.
"It is not my buisness if you guys would like to support your friend." He said. "Just be careful. The world is cruel in many ways. If someone catches you, we're down the drain. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes sir." We all said.
"Especially you Jack."
"I know sir." I said.
"Word goes around that fans had spotted you to on that peek." He said. "Don't let it happen again."
I nodded.
We all began walking upstairs.
"Where do you think you guys are going?" David asked.
"What do you mean?" We said.
"We have a busy day today." He said.
"Uuuugggghhhh." We all groaned.
"You guys can go get dressed, but be back down here at three." He laughed.
We groaned and walked up the stairs.
-Time Skip-
I dropped onto my bed.
"I'm so tired." I said.
"Yeah that mic was really heavy." Corbyn said.
"True." I laughed.
"So.."
"So what?"
"Your birthday is coming up."
"Yeah so is Sarah's-"
"When's her birthday?"
"The twenty seventh of July." I said.
"We won't be here." He said " Wait! Well we won't be busy on July twenty seventh."
"And??"
"Pop up show."
"Where?" I asked. "We can't have it in LA, we have to have pop up shows out of California."
"Well, we've never had a show in Utah."
"So?"
"Well, Salt Lake City, Utah, we're hosting a pop up show."
"Good idea!"
I grabbed my phone and made a call.
-Time skip-
"All done." I said. "I got tickets ready for her."
"Wait where are we going to have it?"
"I don't know." I said. "But when they call back they'll give me a place to hold it and start making the tickets."
"We're on a role." He clapped and grabbed out his phone.
*knock knock*
"Come in!" I said.
Daniel walked in.
Jonah and Zach arguing behind him.
"Shut up and sit down!" Daniel yelled.
"What's going on?" Corbyn asked.
"We over heard you guys talking about a pop up show. What's that all about?" Jonah asked.
"July 27th!" I said. "We're going to Utah."
"Why?" Zach asked.
"Well..." I began.
**Ring**
I answered my phone.
"Hello?"
···after phone call···
I grabbed out my phone.
People had sent me screen shots of a fan account who wanted us to come to Utah.

I showed the guys.
"She's been commenting on our stuff for the longest time ever for us to go to Utah so, I thought it would be fun."
"Utah?" Daniel asked. "Why not like Washington?"
"We're already going to washington." Corbyn claimed.
"What about New York?" Jonah asked.
"Going." Daniel said.
"Ooh what about Hawaii?" Zach laughed.
"Do you have time to go to Hawaii and come back?" Jonah asked.
"Well you don't." Zach rolled his eyes. "You'll be dead by the time you get there grandpa."
"And you'll-" Jonah started.
"We don't have time for this guys!" I said.
"Right." They both said.
"So, Utah?"
"What's in Utah?" Daniel asked.
"Well, i just researched some cool places in Utah and they have this place called Lagoon." Corbyn laughed. "I like that word...lagoon."
"What's Lagoon." Zach asked.
"It's like Utah's type of version of like Disney Land." Jonah replied.
"I'm in." Zach laughed.
"Me too." Corbyn said.
"Same goes for me." Jonah claimed.
We all looked at Daniel.
"What day is this pop up show again?" He asked.
"Jusy twenty seventh." We all answered.
"It's Sarah's birthday huh?" He remembered.
I nodded.
"Utah, here we come." He smiled.
We all jumped in the air.
"Shut up and go to sleep!" We heard Eben yell.
We all laughed.
"Yeah you guys sound like girls!" August yelled.
"Is it weird that I forgot they were going on tour with us?" Zach asked.
We all just laughed again.
"That's enough!" David called. "Now all of you go to bed."
"Bye guys." Jonah said walking out.
Zach followed.
"Next time... Just tell me." Daniel said.
"Tell you what?" I asked.
"Reasons for your sudden moves."
I nodded.
"Goodnight."
He walked out and shut the door.
I lied in bed.
"So when are you going to tell her?" Corbyn asked getting ready to go to bed.
"When I'm ready." I answered.
He nodded and turned away.
And soon we fell asleep.

We woke up in the morning after our big announcement for the pop up show.
I grabbed my phone and went through my notifications on instagram.

I looked at the post.
Wdwoe_jackavery: omg!!! You guys are coming to Utah, and I begged for the most longest time for you guys to come, and finally when you guys are coming, I'm going to camp. I'm so sad😢
"Awe..." I sighed. "That's so sad."
"What happened?" Corbyn asked.
"That one fan that wanted us to come to Utah is going to camp the day we come."
"That's really sad." He said. "I hate when things like that happen."
A/n: for real the actual thing that happened to me when they had a pop up show in Utah. I cried so bad... Buhh yalls don't care😂 ok going on.
"Same." I said.
I got up and got ready for the day.
I walked downstairs and poored myself some cereal.
Daniel and Corbyn ran downstairs.
"Where's Jonah?" I asked. "And Zach?"
Eben and August walked into the kitchen.
"I have no clue." Daniel said.
"Same." Corbyn said.
"You guys were so annoying last night." Eben said. "Your guys' girl screaming kept me up till four."
"L-O-L." Daniel spelled.
"Now you guys are just messing with me." Eben said walking over to the cabinet to grab out some bowls.
"And Jonah and Zach left a couple of minutes ago." August explained.
"Hold up." Corbyn started. "They left. Together!?"
"Yup." He said nodding.
"Jonah leaving early morning sounds like something he'd do." Daniel said.
"But Zach leaving with him sounds like something they would not do." I finished.
"Sounds like someones going to die." Eben shrugged and sat down at the kitchen table.
"We gotta go look for them." Corbyn said grabbing the keys to the SUV.
The door swung open.
"BAHAHAHA YEAH AND REMEMBER WHEN I STOLE CORBYN'S CHARGER!!!????" Zach said bursting out in laughter.
"YEAH AND THEN HE PUT OUT ANOTHER ONE AND YOU STOLE IT AGAIN!!!!" Jonah agreed. "HOW STUPID WAS-"
"I'm standing right here." Corbyn said.
"YEAH AND THEN WHEN JACK WAS SLEEPING AND I POURED SOME WATER IN HIS EAR!!!" Zach laughed.
They both kept laughing.
"That hurt." I said. "A lot."
"OR WHEN DANIEL WAS-" Jonah started.
"SHUT UP!" Daniel yelled.
"Oh hi guys." Zach giggled and set a bag on the table.
"What's in the bag?" Corbyn said gesturing towards the bag on the table. "Your arm? Band-aids? Jonah's teeth? Jonah's cane? Dru-"
"Corbyn I'm only sixteen. You really think I'd be doing dru-" Zach began.
"YOU NEVER KNOW." Corbyn snapped.
Zach put up his hands and grabbed the bag. He pointed at the taco bell sign on the side.
"YOU NEVER KNOW..." Corbyn whispered. "That can just be an undercover wrapping for your dru-"
"Corbyn!" Zach said grabbing out some frito burritos. "They're not drugs."
"Burritos with drugs in them!" Corbyn claimed. "What did you do to him Jonah!?"
"We just went to go get burritos and my morning coffee." Jonah said taking a sip from his cup.
"There's drugs in that cup of-"
"Enough with the drug hallucinations!!" Daniel said.
Corbyn just shrugged before walking into the living room to join August and Eben who were watching Disney Channel.
"You never know." He mumbled.
We were all so confused.
"So what you're telling us, is that you guys left, and did not kill eachother?" Daniel asked.
They both nodded.
"Okay?" We both said.
They both poured out the burritos and walked into the front.
"I'm lowkey creeped out." I whispered to Daniel.
"I'm highkey spooked." Daniel laughed.
"It's the drugs." Corbyn called over to us.
"Shut up Corbyn!" We both said.
He shrugged and turned back to the TV.
(Sarah)
I woke up and made breakfast with Dillan.
Everyone woke up and came into the kitchen to eat.
We sat down.
"So what's your guys' plans?" Mr. Anderson asked.
"What plans?" Kaleb asked.
"I'm talking about our graduates." He said.
We all nodded.
"Well, Lance and I will be leaving tomorrow." Sean said.
"Oh where are you guys going?" My mom asked.
"Uhm the child support company found out that my moms sister lives nearby" Lance said. "So, she's expecting us to move in."
"Oh okay." Mr. Anderson said.
"Dillan?" My mom said.
"Well, after football season, I have been getting scholarship offers for many places to go." Dillan said.
"Ooh what are they?" Skylar asked.
"Well, my very first offer was BYU Provo in Utah. And then, BYU Idaho. University of Utah. Salt Lake Community College-"
"So much in Utah." Caden laughed.
"And Utah State University." He finished.
"Wow." My mom said. "So where do you want to go?"
"I want to go to BYU Provo." He said. "I heard their football team is amazing. And they have high expectations, so it can boost my expectations."
"Well, we're moving to Utah!" Damien said.
Dillan looked down.
"Right mommy?" Dezhi said.
My mom shook her head.
"We don't have time to move." Mr. Anderson said.
"What?" Damien said. "But I thought Dillan is going to BYU Provo."
"He is." I said.
"Then arent we supposed to go with him?" Dezhi asked.
"No baby." Dillan said.
"Then where are you supposed to go?" Damien asked. "You can't live alone."
"Babies, that's how life is." I said. "One day, you guys are going to have to grow up and live on your own."
"I don't wanna grow up." Dezhi said.
Damien ran over to Dillan.
"I'm gonna miss you." He hugged him close.
"Damien, I'm not leaving now." Dillan hugged him close. "I'll be here for the rest of the summer. And I'll come visit all the time."
"Promise?" Dezhi asked running over with her pinky.
"I promise." He linked his pinky with hers. "Until then, take care of-"
He whispered into their ears.
"Wait what!?" They both said.
"Well, Kaleb will be leaving soon too." He said. "So we decided, that when we both leave, you guys can take care of..."
"OTIS!!!!!!!!!!!" They both yelled.
They opened the back door.
A big dog came running in.
They both petted him.
"What the heck!?" I said.
They all looked at me.
"What?" Shontell said.
"I've lived here for like two to three weeks and I've never seen this dog."
"He's always in the back." Caden said.
"Yeah but I've never seen him before." I said.
Otis ran over to me and licked me on the face.
"Awe." I petted him and played with his ears.
"Yeah that's Otis." Kaleb said. "Dillan and I's dog."
"He's so cute." I smiled.
Otis ran back out the back door.
Dezhi and Damien followed him and shut the door behind him.
"Yeah Otis has been here for a long time. Even when Davynah was still-" Sean began.
We all looked at him.
He looked down.
"Was still alive..." He said.
"Otis used to be Vynah's dog." Shontell said. "Then she died. And Otis became the boys' dog."
"Sean...you said you were getting help." Mr. Anderson said.
"I was sir." He said.
"But you always beat up my sister." Kaleb said getting up.
"And I don't know why." He said.
"You beat her twice." Skylar said.
"And everytime i regretted it. Because I realized i was turning into my father. He beat my mom everyday. They argued everyday. And i didnt want Davynah and I to end up the way they did."
"Sean, if you really did go get help, let's go figure out if your telling the truth right now." Mr. Anderson said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Let's go." He said getting up. "Dillan, Sarah, Sean, Lance, Kaleb, Shontell, Skylar, and Caden get in the car. James you can come too."
We all got up from the table.
My mom stayed with the twins.
-Time Skip-
We were at the police station looking through the files for Davynah's death.
"Mr. Young, have you changed your phone number since the day Ms. Anderson passed?" The police officer asked.
"No sir." Sean replied.
"Well, the phone number that was linked to the phone call that we had recieved that day asking for help is right here." He said.
We all nodded.
They called the number.
**ring ring**
He grabbed out his phone and answered it.
"Hello?" Sean said into the phone.
The police officer handed the phone to Dillan.
"Sean? Dillan said.
"Dillan?" Sean whispered into the phone.
Dillan paused for a moment.
He began to tear up.
"It's his." Dillan said handing back the phone.
Mr. Anderson grabbed Sean and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you for loving my daughter." He said to Sean.
"My pleasure." Sean said.
We all went in for a group hug.
-Time Skip-
We walked into the house.
My mom looked at Mr. Anderson with soft eyes.
"It's his." He said.
My mom broke down crying and ran over to Sean.
"Thank you." She cried hugging him tightly.
Everybody was celebrating.
I walked into my room.
*ring*
I picked up the phone.
"Hello?"
(Jack)
I grabbed the phone and called Sarah's number.
"Hello?" Her voice rang through the phone.
"Sarah!" I said. "My phones about to die so I need to tell you quickly."
"Go." She said.
"So your birthday is coming up." I said. "And I won't be there for your birthday, so I added a pop up show in Utah because that's the closest we can get. I got you tickets to come watch ON YOUR BIRTHDAY. I'll run someone over with your flight and concert tickets. You leave midnight and arrive sometime in the afternoon. I'll run someone else over to come pick you up. Okay?"
"Okay!" She said.
"One percent gotta blast!"
"Bye Jack." She laughed.
"Bye."
I hung up.
"Few." I said.
"What did she say!?" They all asked.
"She said-"
"I am so sorry." Zach said.
"She said yes." We all looked at Zach.
"What? I had no faith it would work." He said.
"Thanks." I laughed.
We all laughed and celebrated.
-Time skip-
I got in bed.
"Jack tell me, why are you waiting when there are plenty of other girls." Corbyn asked.
"Because I promised." I said.
"Yeah but why?" He asked. "What's so important?"
"Shes my best friend." I said. "And shes my whole entire world. My life depends on her being with me."
"But shes not with you."
"Thats why I'm waiting."
"Whatever." Corbyn smiled and went back to texting Christina on the phone.
No matter who shes with, I'll wait.
No matter what she's doing, I'll wait.
No matter what happens, I'll wait.
No matter how long it takes, I'll wait.
No matter how much it's worth.
No matter how much pain it gives me,
I'll wait...
Because I promised that...
