Perrie
"Ugh! I need some sleep." I say to myself as I slump down on my bed. We were in a hotel room in New York since our tour bus took too long to get here when we were at London. The girls and I were given separate rooms despite our requests to share only one. Perhaps, they were just too generous.
Anyways, we just finished our first performance at the Madison Square Garden, and it was probably the most tiring performance of the tour considering we just got back from London a few hours ago. It was definitely a dream come true but I literally couldn't feel my legs anymore after our set.
We didn't get any rest at all. The minute we stepped foot in New York we were immediately rushed to rehearsals and I didn't really get much sleep on the plane since I didn't want the time difference to affect me that much.
I was already under the covers, dressed in my comfy PJ's and my pillows already in the positions I want them in. I was slowly drifting into sleep, my eyelids shut, breathing even when my phone starts to go off nonstop.
Actually, the last time I checked my phone was still at London when I posted that picture of Alex and I. I haven't had the time to check since then. I was reading a book on the plane and I was using my IPad when we got back.
I let out a loud and annoyed grunt as I reached for my phone.
Confusion dawned over me as I saw my notifications. Everybody was congratulating me, not the girls and I, me. What did I do? I scrolled down and opened my mom's text message, bewilderment plastered on my face as I read the messages. Why is mom sending me pictures of baby clothes? And why is Alex's mom asking me if I want a baby subscription box? What is happening?
I sit up on the bed, leaning against the headboard. I seriously have no idea about what is happening, confusion starting take over me. I continue to scroll down and noticed that Alex has left me ten missed calls. I immediately dialled his number.
"Perrie? Oh, thank God! Are you alright? Is it true? Are we really?" Alex rambled before I could even say hello when he picked up. I slowly stood up from the bed, feeling my forehead crease and my brows meet. This is so confusing. "What?" I asked, but before he could answer, I heard very loud bangs on my door. "Hold on, don't hang up." I told him as I walked to the door.
"IS THAT HIM?" Jesy yelled as I opened the door. I was stunned at her sudden retaliation. What's gone into everyone? She suddenly took my phone from me, Leigh Anne following her to the center of the room. I closed the door as Jade came in.
"Oh Perrie, what has he done to you?" Jade said, concern in her voice as she hugged me from the side. I looked at everyone with wide eyes. Is this some sort of prank?"
"ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN YOU PIECE OF SHIT, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?!" Jesy screamed at the phone. I hear an 'Oh my God' from Alex. Jesy must have accidentally pressed speaker. "I'M GOING TO SHRED YOU! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO OUR BABY PEZ?" Jesy paced around the room, Alex sounding really freaked out on the phone. "How could you get her pregnant?!" Leigh whined at him.
Pregnant, what?
"He what?!" I asked, my voice raising. I felt Jade hugging me tighter, rubbing her hands on my shoulder. "It's okay, babe. We're here for you." Jade said. I hear Alex saying my name, pleading for forgiveness. What on earth could he possibly have done. I looked at each one of them, confusion all over my face.
"Wait, who's pregnant?" I asked them, I feel myself starting to fume up because of the ignorance I'm feeling. They all look at me and stare for a while before they answered me. "You." They say in unison, including Alex. What the hell?
"I am?" I asked, looking at them in disbelief.
Leigh passes me her phone with an article on it saying I was pregnant. They speculated after I had posted a photo with Alex after the Brits with my hands resting on my stomach. "What kind of lie is this?" I say as I give Leigh her phone back.
"You're meaning to say you're not?" Jade looked at me and then to the others.
"No! Of course I'm not. I would probably be the first one to know if I am, girls." I told them, releasing myself from Jade's grip. I walked over to Jes and Leigh to retrieve my phone. I took him off speaker and talked to him.
"So we're not having a baby?" Alex asked me. I let out a short sigh and looked at the ceiling.
"No, we're not having a baby, Alex." I hear him drop on something, probably on the couch. I hear him release a long sigh and mumble a short 'thank you, Jesus'.
I was about to say something when I heard the someone knocking on the door again. "Perrie?" I hear Paul's voice on the other side. I palmed my face and walked to the door when Leigh stopped me. "We'll handle this."
"She's not pregnant!" The girls say in unison as they opened the door, silencing the popping questions from Paul, the mixmen and practically the whole team. I squeezed between the girls to see them outside. I flash a smile at them. "I'm not pregnant guys, chill out." I say to them.
The girls go out to talk to them so I was left alone to talk to Alex. I also asked Paul to tell my representative to release a statement for me.
"Are you still there?" I ask as i close the door. "Yep." I sit down on the edge of the bed. "Did you know my mom asked me if we wanted a baby subscription box." He told me, I smile to myself. "Yep, she asked me too. My mom sent me pictures of baby clothes." I snickered. "By the way, I already texted them about the 'false alarm'." He told me. I nodded even though I know he couldn't see me.
"So, how are you?" I snickered. I know he was pretty rattled with the false baby news. "I swear, Pez. When I first heard the news my heart dropped. If only you could see how pale I was a while ago and how clammy my hands were, especially when Jesy yelled at me on the phone." I laugh at his statement, I could only imagine his face as Jesy scolded him like a child.
"Hmm, so does that mean you don't want to have a baby with me?" I joked, but i made it sound like I was dead serious. "What? That's not what I mean!" He defended.
"I swear, Pez. If you really were pregnant, I would've gotten on the first flight there. I wouldn't let you go, ever. I'll marry you in an instant." He rambled. I smiled as i listened to his words.
"Of course I got a bit stunned and nervous as I heard the news considering we've only been in a relationship for some time, but I swear I'll be the happiest man in the world if ever, I'll buy him all the baby sized football jerseys and--" He trailed off as he heard me snickering in the background. "You're laughing." He said. I heard him laughing too.
"I'm sorry." I continue to giggle. "You're so cute, I can't cope." I say to him between laughs.
"But we would make really beautiful babies, though." I say to him and I hear him giggle. "Ha! Don't worry, when you get home I'll make sure to put a baby in there." He said, I swear I can almost see his coy smile as he says this to me. I laugh at his statement. "Oh shut up! I don't think I'm ready for a baby." I say, laying down on the bed.
"Of course you're not." Jesy says as she and the girls went back in my room. "So don't get any ideas about giving our baby a baby." Jade said as she sat on the bed beside me. I just laugh
"I've gotta go, babe." I told him. "Okay, I'm off to training anyway. Bye, baby. I love you." I feel a blush creep to my cheeks as he says those. "Dream about me and our beautiful babies." He joked before he hung up. Gosh I love that dork.
"Well, that was a shocker." Leigh Anne as she slumped down on my bed. I chuckled at how the events transpired this evening. "Movie?" I suggested. They nodded and I stood up to get some movies from my suitcase.
"I just can't imagine her with a baby. Just look at her, she's playing Bambi for Pete's sake." The girls turn their attention to me as I reached for the remote with my leg as I place the Bambi DVD in. "BAMBI!" Jade yelled as she strode forward and helped me. "BAMBI!" We screamed in unison. "See." Jesy said making Leigh Anne laugh out loud.
The next two months went by in a blur. We were in different cities and different states everyday , performing every night. It was impossible to get any rest at all, but we were really happy and we totally enjoyed the whole three month American tour.
We really loved travelling the world, meeting other people and giving them joy and happiness through our performances. But though we really love exploring the world, nothing really beats home. We couldn't help but feel a little bit homesick whenever we're gone for a long time.
Though we were miles and miles away from home, we didn't really miss out a lot since the mams frequently came and visited us. We were able to film music videos while we were on tour, squeezing them in our very tight schedules. Though it was a blast in America, we couldn't help but miss the UK. We've been gone to long, we missed our houses, our families and our boyfriends.
Alex, my how much I've missed that man of mine.
I was literally having separation anxiety from Alex. This was the first time we were really apart after we got together and I haven't seen him in two months. I even posted a photo of us on Instagram with a very cheesy caption expressing how much I've missed him. We've started to open up about our relationship to the public now, posting some photos of us from time to time and talking about each other in interviews. I'm just really happy that the fans really love him as well, and apparently we're called Alerrie, which is the cutest thing.
We arrived back in the UK two days ago, immediately after our last show. We were just so excited to be back home and immediately took the first flight back. My mam picked me up from the Airport and stayed with me at my house for a night before she went back to South Shields yesterday. Even though she frequently visited me in the US, I was still ecstatic to see her.
I haven't seen Alex since I got back. He went away for a game the day I arrived so we weren't able to catch up. I've been dying to see him and I can't wait when he comes here later.
I just finished unpacking the new clothes I got in America and I've already got my clothes out for the dry cleaners. I spent the whole morning fixing up my stuff in my closet, which was pretty unusual because I'm clearly very messy.
I was whipping something up in the kitchen for a snack when I heard the door close. "Pez?" I hear Alex call out for me, my heart taking a few little leaps. "Kitchen!" I yelled, loud enough for him to hear.
I was putting syrup on my pancakes when I felt strong arms wrap around my waist. My, how much I missed him, I savored his touch as I sink down on the warmth of him.
I felt my heart beat a little bit faster when I felt him move my hair to the side, exposing my bare neck. "I missed you." He whispered, trailing kisses down my jaw. Instinctively, I slightly threw my head back, giving him more access. He trailed lingering kisses from my down my neck, his arms pulling me closer, riding up my shirt.
I turned around to face him and immediately wrap my arms around his neck, pulling him in for a deep and passionate kiss. His hand travelled down my back while the other made its way to the back of my neck, holding me in place as he deepens the kiss.
I cupped his face with my hands and responded to his heated kisses, barely stopping for air.
We were hungry for each other, both of us trying get as much from one.
I felt a shiver run down along my back as he set me down on the cold counter. I knocked down a few things as I my skin made contact with the marble, my attention solely on him. I pulled him closer as I wrapped my arms around his neck, my hands tangling itself on his hair. We pulled apart for air, both of us trying catch our breaths, still trapped in each other's embrace. I stared at his eyes as I held his face, my blue ones meeting his brown ones. He cupped my face and gave me a small smile. "God, I missed you." He lovingly said before he crashed his lips on mine.
My breath hitched when he tugged my thighs closer to him. I wrapped my legs around his waist as he held my thighs, carrying me up. He walked us out of the kitchen to the living room, without breaking the kiss. "What about that baby, huh?" He wiggled his brows as he laid me down on the couch. I laughed at his wit, hitting his arm.
It had started to rain outside, but we were entangled in each others arms, warmth radiating from our touch as we passionately made love on my couch. All the restraint that we kept for those three months away from each other were all let loose.
"So, no baby huh?" Alex teased me again as he ran his hand up my arm. My head was on his chest as we laid on the couch, covered by the thin blanket that I leave there. "Alex!" I slapped his chest lightly. "I'm just kidding. You're my baby as of now." He stroked my hair as I feel the rise and fall of his chest. "I'll marry you first, then comes the baby." He added. I feel a deep heated blush run up to my cheeks as I smile to his words.
I can't help but feel so lucky to have found a man who's more than excited to have a future with me. I smile at the thought of having such a great man in my life. He definitely is the one, I'm sure of that.
"Hatchi can be our baby." I suggested, earning a giggle from him. "Yup, and Otis and Leo too." I looked up at him at the sound of Leo's name. "Speaking of Leo, I can't wait to meet him." I tell him. He got Leo when I was still in America and I swear, I died of cuteness when he sent me the pic.
"You hungry?" He asks me, propping his head on his elbows. "Sort of. I have pancakes in the kitchen though." I give him a cheeky grin. He laughed and kissed my temple as he got up and went to the kitchen after he put some clothes on. "What do you want? Maple or Chocolate syrup?" He yelled from the kitchen.
"Everything!" I yelled as I put a shirt on, walking to the kitchen. "Yup, why did I even have to ask." He said as I got in the kitchen. I sat on the stool surrounding the kitchen island as he poured the syrups for me.
"Jesy really killed me on the phone call by the way." He snickered as he passed me the plate. I laugh at the memory. "Well, you know her. She's just looking for all of us, especially after the crap I've been through." I take a bite out of my pancakes. He grabbed my hands and turned me to face him.
He rubbed his thumb over my hands and looked at me, a spark in his eyes. "You know I'll never leave you, right? I'll never hurt you and I'll love as long as I live." I smiled at him and stroked the side of his face. "Of course, I do. I feel the same way for you." I told him. "And Jesy knows that you're the best for me. She just got really caught off guard with the false baby news. You know she'll move mountains for all of us girls." He nodded and smile at me, taking my hand in his.
He leaned in and gave me a quick kiss on the lips, a little proclamation of his love.
Alex
"Perrie, come sleep already." I threw a pillow at her, but I made sure I missed. We have been watching Disney movies for a total of four hours now and she's about to put in the fifth one. "But it's still so early!" She whined, throwing the pillow back at me.
It was actually pretty early, but I had a game tomorrow and she was watching with my mom. I don't want to be a flop tomorrow when my two of the most important women in my life are watching me.
"Come on, babe. We have to be up early tomorrow." I sit up and try to grab her shirt but she was too far. "Aww. Just one more and I promise we can go to the bed." I slumped back on the pillow and looked at her. "Pleeaase, pretty please!" She propped her elbows on the bed, pouting her lips at me. I tried to stifle a laugh at how cute she is.
"Okay, okay." I raised my arms and surrendered at her request. Well, who could possibly say no to her? "Yaaaay! Oh, I love you, I love you!" She jumped up and down and jumped on the bed to kiss me on the lips. I laugh at her childish antics, I don't think I'll ever get enough of her.
I just love her. I love how her personality is naturally like a little kid's at times. She's bubbly, cute and happy all the time but she can be the most mature when the situation calls for it. I just love her entirety.
"Okay, come on here." I pull her to the bed when she's had the movie on. We were watching Moana for the hundredth time, but I didn't mind as long as it makes her happy then I'm happy. She excitedly crawled to the bed and into my arms. I enveloped her with my arm, using it as her pillow.She snuggled closer to me when I draped the comforter over us as the movie starts.
I was rubbing small circles on her shoulder as we watched the movie, her head on my chest. Ten minutes into the movie, I looked down on her. She was fast asleep, her head moving with the rise and fall of my chest. I smiled at the sight of her. She looks so angelic and peaceful in her slumber.
I giggled at how my plan went perfectly; I knew that a warm snuggle and a few strokes on her shoulders would do the trick. If it works on babies, it's gonna work on her. She was now fast asleep, her face buried in the crook of my neck, her arm draping over my torso. I slowly reached for the remote and turned the TV off and wrapped her in a hug. My eyes started to flutter shut as sleep dawned over me.
"Man of the Match, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain." I smiled at the sound of my name. The match went really well today, we were all very spot on, winning against our opponent. I couldn't be prouder of my team and to myself. I pushed myself a little bit harder today and it was definitely worth it.
I looked up to my private box and saw Perrie and my mum jumping up and down, cheering for me. They were hugging each other, wide smiles on their faces. It warms my heart that the both of them get along really well, they love each other so much. Even my mam and Perrie's mam are practically best friends now. I smile at the sight of the two significant women in my life. I couldn't feel any happier right now.
"MY MAN OF THE MATCH!" Perrie came running to me, clinging her hands around my neck. I hugged her and twirled her around. "Congratulations, baby!" She said, a wide grin spreading across her face. I smiled at how happy she was for me. "Thank you, babe!" I leaned down to kiss her.
My mam came up to me and hugged me, congratulating me as well. She told me how proud she was of me and kissed me on the cheek. We had dinner together and the whole time she was just talking to Perrie about clothes, trends and all sorts of stuff. I looked at them and smile to myself.
"What are you smiling at?" Perrie asked me as I closed the door. We just walked Matt, my best friend and my mam out the door. I smiled at her. "Nothing, just really happy." She smiled and stroked the side of my face. "Well, how about you come join me in the shower." She said as she slowly walked to the stairs. My heart skipped a beat and smiled, following her. This day couldn't be more perfect.
