On July 1, 2010, I had to go back to Augusta Georgia for another major surgery. My surgery was a Baclofen Pump which is inside my stomach (sorry if I grossed you out). I have to get my Baclofen pump replaced every 5-7 years for the rest of my life.

I have a Baclofen Pump which is a medical device used to deliver medications directly into the space between the spinal cord and the protective sheath surrounding the spinal cord. Medications such as baclofen, morphine, or ziconotide may be delivered in this manner to minimize the side effects often associated with the higher doses used in oral or intravenous delivery of these drugs.
