Wednesday July 4th Nadia's Birthday
Q's POV
I woke up careful not to wake Nadia up. It was her birthday and I didn't want her woke until I had everything together. I went to go get the keys to the rental from Roman's room so I could go pick up a few more things. I went to go get the balloons and cake. I had them blow up 30 balloons. I sent Aug a text so he could help me bring the stuff up to the room since Roman was still sleep. I opened and closed the door quietly before I started to set up. It was 9:15 am and I was standing in the hallway waiting on room service to bring up the breakfast for her. They came up and I took the tray. I walked back into the room and saw her sitting up with her hands covering her mouth.
" Happy Birthday baby " I said brining the tray over to her
" Oh my God Q baby this is so sweet thank you." She said hugging me
" So what you want to do today ?" I asked her while she ate
" I thought we were going to the beach to watch the sunset?" She asked
" That's what they wanted to do . It's your day if you want to do something different then we can ." I told her
" No I'm fine with it . Today is the last day here and we haven't been to the beach yet. Besides I never seen a sunset before " she said laughing
" Okay we can do that " I said
I let her finishing eating while I went to go run her a bath.
Hennessy POV
I woke up and I had 5 messages from Roman.
Roman 😩💙 I know you pissed right now and I'm sorry just please don't go to sleep mad about some shit I did sent at 2:14 am
Roman 😩💙 I'm going to find out a way to make it up to you Hennessy I swear sent at 2:30 am
Roman 😩💙 I know you probably tired of me fucking up already so maybe I just need to leave you alone sent at 3:45 am
Roman 😩💙 I got too much going on right now and I see I'm just hurting you sent at 4:13 am
Roman 😩💙 I'm still going to be here for you if you need some just hit me up sent at 5:22 am
If I was reading this right Roman was saying he was done with this little thing we had going . Part of me was a little hurt but part of me was thinking maybe this was best for us. He obviously had a lot going on with Genesis and Bee . I just wished he would've said this sooner. I pushed him to the back of my mind remembering it was my friend's birthday. I shot her a text .

Kindell walked out of the bathroom in her robe. She looked at me and came to sat next to me .
" what's the matter pumpkin ?" She asked
I let her read the messages and she stood up and started to go off .
" Is he really fucking serious right now ? I knew I should've beat his ass the first time he fucked up" Kindell said
" Calm down Kin . I'm okay. It's not like we were together and it's only been a few days since we started this bond thing. " I told her
" You sure ? I know you really liked him." She said rubbing my back
" Oh my god yes " I laugh moving her hand " I'm bad as fuck and can get any nigga I want " I said making her jump up with big eyes
" Okay now I'm feeling this new you . " she said making me laugh
Just then August walked in the room. He went into the bathroom to shower. I went across the hall to the room I shared with Roman and it was just my luck he was sleeping. I didn't want to talk to him none today so I went ahead and packed all of my stuff up since we were leaving tonight. I took out me some to wear for today and went back across the hall to Kindell's room. August was out the shower so I went to get in. When I got out and got dressed I walked back into the room. I was sitting on the couch when August came to sit next to me .
" What's going on witcha ?" You sitting in here all day " He said
I pulled out my phone showing him the messages too.
" Damn bruh really tripping . He stayed up all night thinking and this what he came up with " August said shaking his head. " You good ?"
" Fine . Be better when we get back home" I said
" Don't sweat it suh. You too beautiful to let a nigga have ya feeling low even if that nigga is my homeboy." He said making me laugh
Nadia sent a text saying she was ready to go out. We were going out for a girls day and I was more than happy to go back to my black hair. Kindell was right nothing is more sexier than some bone straight black hair. We went outside and got into our Uber. We were doing something small for her up here but when we got home we were throwing her a surprise party. Our first stop was the mall like always. I got her a two piece Gucci outfit and a matching bag for her birthday and Kindell got her a lingerie and some handcuffs . She always getting somebody some freaky shit. I still haven't opened the vibrator she got me. After we left the mall we went to get our nails and toes done. We were sitting in the chairs getting our feet scrubbed.
" I think I want me a new car in all honesty " Nadia said answering Kindell question
" Girl don't we all . I hate my mom old Lexus. I don't even drive it. I ride with Hennessy everywhere " Kindell said
" Well I love my Mercedes and Kindell if you hate the car so much you can have my BMW from my 16th Birthday." I told her
" No No No it's a nice ass car and a kind gesture but I want a NEW car not something else somebody gave me " She said making me nod
" So Hennessy Kindell told me about the messages. You okay honey ?" Nadia asked
" Really ? When ? We need like a group chat or something. " I said making them laugh and agree " But yes I'm fine . Sooner the better right . " I said
" That's good friend . You a bad ass bitch with a fat ass . Niggas gone be beating down ya DM " Nadia said making us laugh
" Speaking of that let me get on snap right quick." I said pulling out my phone
Niggas would always snap me trying to talk but since I started to post Roman on there it slowed down. I decided to record myself looking cute and captioned it Free Agent 😏. I been a free agent but I'm even more free now. We decided the group chat thing would be a good idea so we started one and named it HNK 🤞🏾❣️. We left the nail shop and headed across the street to the salon.
Roman's POV
I woke up and it was 12 in the afternoon. I got up and headed to the bathroom. I noticed all Hennessy things were pack and I remembered today was our last day. I went to shower and when I got out I seen she still hadn't text back but she read it. I didn't want to cut shit off with her especially when it was my idea to try the bond shit but shit just wasn't going right. I had Bee in one ear and Genesis and the other and her always getting in her feelings I needed a fucking break from these females. I texted the gang letting them know I was up. I started to pack up and I heard them knocking at the door. I let them in and went back to packing .
" Bruh you sure them blunts you smoked last night wasn't laced ?" August asked siting on the bed
" Mane what the fuck you talking about ?" I asked laughing
" I heard about what you told Hennessy. That was yo solution? That was some dumb shit ." He said
" Hold up . He cut shit short with Hennessy?" Q asked
" Hell yea cause he ain't tell her about his black mailing baby mama and she keep calling and making him her li personal do boy " Aug said
" Hold the fuck on . Fo one Hennessy know what the fuck going on she ain't never had a boyfriend or nun before so she still gone be under a nigga. Fo 2 Fuck Bee she don't run shit and Fo 3 Im nobody's fucking do boy you skinny bastard." I said
" Matter fact fuck all that is yall niggas ready fo tonight ." I asked
" Most def . I just loaded two clips to the Draco and I'm praying I get to use them " Aug said rubbing his hands together
" Lets hope it don't come down to that gangster " I said making them laugh
Hennessy POV
We were leaving the hair salon and on the way back to the hotel. I was so glad to have my hair back black. It was going on 3 and we had to get changed and get ready for the sunset. I honestly didn't want to go anymore but it was still my friend's birthday so I kept my thoughts to myself. We were walking to the elevator when a guy stopped me. He said his name was Von. He was tall caramel and had pretty hazel eyes . I gave him my number and got back on the elevator with my friends.
" ooooooooo we see you girl " Nadia said making me laugh
When we made it to our floor I went into Kindell room to get ready for the beach. Nadia came in and told us Q left a note saying they already left to go set up at the beach so we had to take another Uber. We were walking off the elevator when I seen Von again .
" You just get prettier every time I see you " He said making me smile
" Thanks" I said
" Where you going ?" He asked
" It's my friend's birthday and we have plans " I said
" Oh well I wanted to take you out . Are you free tomorrow?" He asked
" Actually we fly back home tonight." I said
" Dang well I'll see you around then I guess" He said walking away
I joined the girls outside as the Uber pulled up and we headed towards the beach. When we got there it was 4:40 and the sun set at 6 . We walked over to where we saw balloons and the boys. Q had a table set up with plenty of balloons a cake and some food . They also had 4 blankets set up on the sand. We walked over to them and they started to be all mushy . I went to go sit in the shallow part of the ocean where it came onto the sand at. I was on snap when Kindell came and sat next to me .
" want some company " She said splashing me a little
" If my phone get wet I'm going to kill you but no I'm fine . I'm actually relaxed ." I laughed
" You sure ? You look all lonely at least come back to where everybody else is . We're about to eattttt Kindell said
" Fine " I said making us laugh
We walked back over to where everybody else was and I seen why there were 4 blankets. Me and Roman had our own . I sat on my blanket as we talked and ate. We were laughing and talking as a group when Roman asked could we talk. I wanted to say no but I wanted to see what he had to say . I got up and we started to walk along the beach.
" Can I ask you some ?" He asked me
" What ?" I asked
" Was I everything you wanted in a nigga ?" He asked
" What are you talking about ?" I asked
" Was I everything you wanted ? Did you see me as being the man you always dreamed of because to me all I did was let you down. I didn't tell you about your parents when you wanted answers. I wasn't there to stop you from getting into that fight with Genesis. I left you at my place all day knowing you had to be at the funeral home because I was over Genesis. I left you alone in a foreign club where you almost got rape and I left you hanging last night on the bridge. When I met you I wanted to be that nigga who you could call on fo anything. I wanted you to know no matter what I would be there fo you. I wanted to show you unconditional love and never let you down but I can't . All I did was let you down. You deserve so much better Hennessy. I won't be able to give it all to you. " He said
" Is that why you cut things off with me ? " I asked
He nodded his head running his hands down his face.
" Roman you've got it all backwards. Yes you left me plenty of times but you always came back for me and made sure I was okay for tomorrow. At my parents funeral you were there wiping my tears. After the fight at the club you were there wiping my tears. I could've got raped that night but you came to my rescue. You even caught a body for me and after that you were there wiping my tears again. You even made me feel good " I said making us laugh " Roman you is the person I would call if anything ever happened to me. Yes you have a lot going on but that was the whole purpose of building the bond. Knowing if the person gone be able to stick around when shit got hard but you didn't even give me time to see if I could handle it . Maybe we just need to be friends because I don't want you bailing on me every time you feel like you can't do something " I said
" I don't want to be friends Hennessy. I mean I'm not ready to be a couple but I don't want to be friends. Can we just go back to what we were " He asked
" I don't know Roman. You were right about saying you had a lot going on and I feel like you're keeping some from me." I said
" I'm not Hennessy. What you want to know ? I'll tell you ." He said
" Why you always walk away when you answer your phone ?" I asked
" It's business. " He said
" Even when Bee call ?" I asked
" What ?" He asked
" That night we were getting ready for the club you answered the phone and said her name then I heard the room door close meaning you left out to talk . What's all that about ?" I asked
" It's nothing " He said rubbing the back of his neck
" Then so are we " I said walking away
I knew he was keeping something from me and I gave him the chance to tell me . I don't have time to forgive him and get hurt all over again.
Roman's POV
I was in the room getting suited up for tonight. I couldn't find my vest so I said fuck it. I then put on my black hoodie black jeans and black timbs. I was mad as fuck Hennessy didn't want to fix shit. I couldn't tell her about Bee I just couldn't . I shook her out my head because I had to stay focus tonight. Q and Aug walked in and we got ready to head out. My phone vibrated and I pulled it out .

Even though shit wasn't right between us it felt good knowing she still cared about a nigga. We were in the truck on the way to where we was suppose to be meeting Pedro bitch ass at. My phone started vibrating letting me know I had call. I picked it up and it was Pedro . What the fuck he was calling for I wasn't late .

" Change of locations " I said hitting a U-turn
" What the fuck ? And he just now saying some " Q said
" Some up . I feel it " Aug said
" Well whatever it is we ready for it " I said
We pulled up to the new location and got out. I held the suitcase in my hand as we walked to where we saw their van . It was about 15 of them and it was only 3 of us but I would ride with these two niggas before any group of niggas any day. We walked up to them and Pedro spoke
" Ah my friend you're late" He said
" Would've been here sooner if you were a better connect ." I said
" Don't try me Roman. Do you have my money ?" He asked
" Do you got my product ?" I asked back
He snapped his fat ass Cuban fingers and one of his men through a duffle bag on the ground. I nodded my head at Q as he picked the bag up. He open the duffle and stuck his knife into the product and rubbed it across his gums. He nodded back at me and closed the bag putting it around his body. I walked over to Pedro and shoved the suitcase into his chest. He passed it back to one of workers before he spoke again.
" You see Roman I liked you. I thought you were smart but unlike Anthony your just a dumb American " He said laughing making me start to clutch "And that's why I had him killed . " he said again
" what ?" we all said confused as we raised our guns
" You see Anthony thought he could do business with me and then find another connect. That was fine until I found out he was teaming up with Frank from Jamaica and taking half of my customers and that wasn't going to sit with me . So I sent my men to have him killed and to take everything he had. And now Roman I hear that you have a meeting with him . Following in Ants foot steps eh ? So you must die like him .Kill Them ! " He said
Next thing you know there were gun shots after gun shots ringing out. I was shooting with both hands hitting most of Pedro men . I felt some hot hit my chest and I knew I been shot. I then felt that same feeling in my leg and I fell to the ground. I crawled over to behind a tree and was still shooting. When the gun shots stop I heard Q and August calling my name . When they made it to me they were cussing me out about my vest as they helped me up and put me in the truck laying me across the back seat. I heard Q telling August to drive faster as I looked down on the floor and saw they had the duffle and the suitcase. I smiled before everything went black .
Hennessy POV
I was laying across the bed watching movies with the girls and eating a bag of hot fries. My phone started to ring and it was Roman.

Me - You good ?
August - Roman's been shot ! Meet us at the hospital on Smithville

Guess who's up at 4:38 in the morning updating ? I'm trying to update at least 2-3 chapters a day but it's really hard. Also if you guys didn't see my post on social media updates are going to be slow since my boyfriend and I are sharing a phone until his screen get fixed but I got y'all enjoy 😘
