The bestfriends stared at Shindou's mansion before them.
Kirino shrugged, "Fine," she tried moving but someone tugged her hand back-- Ran.
"Mommy will leave me...?"
She pitied "her child" while Shindou flashed her an apologetic smile.
"Look," Shindou squatted down to Ran's level
"Ran, we are not your parents, she is Kirino Ranmaru... my bestfriend, she's not your mother and I'm not your father too,"
"No..." the child said
"You're Daddy... your hair, Daddy's scent, your daddy!" She began to cry

Kirino's POV
What am I going to do now?
"So you're a...girl?" Mrs. Shindou said as a start of an interrogation

Unexpectedly, Mrs. Shindou laughed, making us glance at each other.
"I'm sorry, but your mother already told me your gender, sorry Takuto for not saying," she said with an apologetic smile.

She is wearing baby blue dress and a pair of heels, her hand clutching the sling of her shoulder bag.
"Kirino! You look so perfect!" Mom said, rushing to her
"T-thanks," she muttered, cheeks red in embarrasment
I chuckled then went to her, "Now I believe you ARE a girl,"
She gave me a confused look, "You didn't believe me after..." she trailed off then remembered what she was talking about then blushed.
I felt my cheeks heat up as I recall that memory.
"We-well let's go?" I asked
She just nodded her head then began walking.
"Oh, Takuto, I'm riding in my car, just call the chauffeur okay?" She said then kissed Ran's forehead while she whispered something to Kirino which startled her.
"Just text if you're in the hospital," she finally said then drove off.
"Now, Ran, get in," I said lifting her up

I was silenced. I stared at Kirino as she went inside the car, followed by Ran, then me.
"Daddy, what can I buy in the mall?" She asked

Kirino was silenced by a pair of lips that cover hers.
Is this a dream? No! It can't be! She fought the urge to kiss back but her instincts caught up with her.
She kissed him back passionately. Shindou eyes shot open realizing what happened and pulled away.
They both gasped for air. Holy... what have we done? Kirino thought
"We're here, Shindou-sama," the chauffeur announced

They went out with Ran's confused face.
"Mama! Papa! Hold me!!" Ran said raising both hands.

Both of them walked, hands still attached, making Ran and Mrs. Shindou grin at each other.

After the test, Mom adviced us to wait for the results while she and Ran will go to the mall.
