Kirino: It's 12:18 in the morning... shut up...
Shindou: Where's my morning kiss?
Kirino:*blushed then kisses Shindou*
Arturia: *groans* go make out already!! I'm trying to concentrate here! *thinks* aha!

Arturia: Make Shindou suffer or happy? *repeats it...*

Narrator's POV
Silence.
There was only silence. Nothing else.
Shindou was confused on what he's going to do. He loves his bestfriend but he doesn't know if he loves her...differently. He can know his own self's answer if his bestfriend answer this simple question. Does she love Shindou in a romantic way?
"Shindou..."
Shindou was startled by Kirino's soft voice.
"I know this is weird to say this out of blue..." Kirino trailed off, her heart pounding hard on her chest.
"Kirino..."
"Why are we pretending? Why are we so obliged to be Ran's parents? Why are we so devoted to act as a couple?..."
"Why can't we just be the same before Ran came?"
The questions that were asked by Kirino slapped Shindou.
"I don't know too... It feels kinda weird when I see Ran..." Shindou said, avoiding the last 2 questions
"Yeah...me too..." Kirino just replied
Then after a while, Shindou began to laugh which was joined by Kirino.
"Wait...why are we even fighting over this?" Kirino asked, still laughing
"What are we adults?" Shindou replied
"We are definitely having some mood swings! And... Shindou don't tell me... you're also a girl?!" Kirino laughed
"Wha-! I'm not like you Kirino-kun," Shindou said with emphasis
Then their laughing stopped. They get it now, they were too much clouded with problems for one day so they get into arguements and all.
"Now... why do we need to act as a couple?" Kirino breathed heavily
With that, Shindou briefly thought then answered, "For Ran,"
Kirino lowered her head then muttered a 'yeah'.
"Then why did you blurted out those weird things a while ago? Not just a while ago, yesterday too..." Kirino almost whispered
Shindou tapped his lap then answered flatly and...carelessly, "Got away with emotions,"
Kirino gripped her pants.
"Maybe your right, I'm still not over with Okatsu... Maybe I'm not ready to love someone else...again,"
"Ahh..."
"Yeah...thanks Kirino, I realized now, it's all a misunderstanding," Shindou added
