"Who are you?" Kirino asked, eyeing the innocent little girl
A set-up? Is she a freakin' girl that will drug us or something?
She thought. Shindou in the other side is definitely confused.
Me? And Kirino? Have a child?
He shooked his head, impossible.
"Eh?!!! Mama forgets about meee!!" The girl cried
"N-no!! I- I m-mean-" Kirino stuttered, shocked and confused on what's she's going to do.
"Kirino," he called out
The addressed girl looked at Shindou, her eyes pleading for help.
"Pretend to be her mother for awhile," Shindou said with a pleading look
"What?!!! Me?!!"
"Papa!!! Mama forgets all about me!!" The girl ran to Shindou's arms
"Shushh...she didn't..." Shindou tried to comfort the little girl, squatting down a bit to reach her level.
Kirino eyed him and started to suggest, "Let's hand her to the police or to the authorities,"
"You want ice cream or cotton candy?"
"What're you doing Shindou?!" Kirino blurted out
"Oi!! Captain!!Kirino-senpai!!"
"Oh no..." Shindou muttered
"Tenma!!!" Kirino rushed to Tenma and put both of her hands on Tenma's shoulder blades
Shindou felt inside him snapped. What now? Kirino's too close to someone who she just knew for a few years? Not even half of the years of their friendship.
"Papa? Is Mama avoiding Ran? Is Ran gonna have another Papa?" Ran pointed to Kirino and Tenma talking
Ran? That's her name?
"No! Of course not!" Shindou replied dismissively, like he IS married with Kirino
Even though we're not, I'm not gonna let someone take my bestfriend! He deeply thought.
"Ran-chan, what is your surname?" Shindou asked

"Hey kid, are you messing with us?" He sounded serious
"Me? Ran will mess with Papa...?" Ran said and was about to cry

Papa is here...? Something inside him accepted the fact, some parts of him told himself that the child is not his.
"Captain!" Tenma called
"Tenma, can you help us here?" Shindou smiled apologetically
"Gladly," he said then turned to the child
"Kid, listen okay? Who are you?"
"Ehh?! Uncle Tenma forgets about me too!!!"
They all looked shocked.
"No, no I didn't forgot about you..." Tenma trailed off, looking at Shindou
"Ran,"
"Oh! I'm not gonna forget Ran-chan of course, now, you are...?"
"Shindou Ran,"
"Shindou Ran?!" Kirino exclaimed
"Your mommy is...?" Tenma continued
"Shindou Ranmaru,"
"Shindou Ranmaru?!" The bestfriends shouted at the same time

"Shindou Takuto," Ran innocently replied
Tenma stood up, forcing not to grin on them then went to his senpais who are literally blushing and shocked at what happened.
"So... Kirino-senpai you're a..."
Kirino just nodded her head.
"She IS your child," Tenma said flatly
"Impossible!" Kirino said
"N- no way!" Shindou replied
"Have you introduced yourselves to her?"
They both got Tenma's point.
"Now, Ran-chan how did you got here?" Kirino said, avoiding the thought of Ran as their child.
Our daughter...
"I was playing with the super, then after I blinked my eyes I was still inside the super, then I got out, then...I'm here," she said
"Super?" Shindou asked
"Huh? I knew it was Papa's super!" Ran stated
"Ran-chan, look, Uncle Tenma just lost my 'super'..." Tenma said getting along with the child's statements
"What is a super again?" He finally asked
"It's like a big box that..."
"That...?" They all asked
"I don't know,"
"Eh?!!!"
"Matsuzake!"
Tenma stiffened, "Tsu-tsurugi!" He said
"Who the hell is that kid?" Tsurugi asked, glaring at Ran
"Mama!! Papa!! So scary!!" She said then ran towards her parents, hiding behind their legs.
"Woah, you guys adopted a child and..." Tsurugi smirked
"Called you 'mama' Kirino-senpai,"
Kirino's breath hitched, what is he planning to do?
"So...?" She raised a bow
"Tsurugi let's keep this as a secret, Kirino senpai is a girl," Tenma said flatly
"MATSUZAKE TENMA!" Kirino blurted out
"Oh....." Tsurugi's smirk widened
"And...don't try to hit on her,"
Shindou's voice was commanding and... threatening.
Kirino's eyes widened when his shadow blocked Kirino's view view.
Is he...being overprotective...?
"And why?" Tsurugi advanced at Shindou which makes him shield Kirino more.
"Because the kid will think of you as his new father, it'll break her, I tell you,"
Just for...Ran...?
"Hmm..." Tsurugi just replied putting his hands on his pockets. He backed away but still remained his gaze on Kirino.
"Let's go Ran," Shindou said getting Ran's hand
"Yes, daddy! Mommy! Hold me in my right!" Ran requested
Kirino hesitantly held her right hand and smiled at her.
"You call us different names?" She asked realizing that from Mama and Papa she called them Mommy and Daddy.
"Yes!"
"And Tsurugi," Shindou stopped
"I'm just not doing this for Ran,"
Kirino didn't want to hear another reason.
It's not me...
"I'm not letting you get Ranmaru away from me,"
Arturia: O.M.G!!! I really planned something heart breaking but... can't help it *smiles sheepishly*
RanTaku: What now...???!!!! Are we gonna adopt Ran?!
Arturia: Uh...
Kirino: We can't handle a child we are both students for crying out loud!
Arturia: Would you rather leave your own daughter outside there? Or even just a little child...? Would you rather abandon them...? *innocent eyes*
Kirino: O.O
