warning; there is a death in this chapter so i am putting this here just as a warning. its not graphic but i do care about each and every one of you, so please take caution.

"He's all over the globe. Robotics labs, weapons facilities, jet propulsion labs. Reports of a metal man, or men, coming in and emptying the place." Maria had joined the team again after searching the globe for any news on Ultron, Carter walked with the two towards the rest of the team.
"Fatalities?" Steve asked, walking alongside the two before heading up the stairs.
"Only when engaged. Mostly guys left in a fugue state going on about old memories, worst fears, and something too fast to see." Maria shook her head staring at the duo.
"Maximoffs." Carter sighed, he knew that if the girl ever got inside his head, she would witness something that no one should witness, death and destruction. He almost felt the pain washing up then, she would most likely get inside his head and she would see his true nature.
"That makes sense he'd go to them-" Steve started, "Or they went to him." Carter looked at the tablet Maria had and saw a disgusting image, printed of Strucker. "They have someone in common." Steve replied seeing Carters eyes widen, "Not anymore." Maria then handed the tablet to Steve and showed him the image. This was going to be a challenge.
When they had found the rest of the team, Clint was over to the side on the phone, and Carter could hear a bit of their conversation, "That's a negative. I answer to you- Yes, ma'am."
"Barton. Might have something." Steve patted Carters shoulder before Clint turned around to look at the two. "I gotta go." He hung up the phone quickly before Carter popped the question, "Well who was that?"
"Girlfriend." Clint shrugged seeing Carters smirk, he already knew who it was, but he was told not to say anything to anyone.
Thor was then handed the tablet Steve was holding onto, "What's this?" Tony walked over seeing Carter stand next to Natasha watching the computer screen with intent. Natasha rubbed Carters arm up in a soothing motion.
"A message. Ultron killed Strucker."
"And he did a Banksyat the crime scene, just for us. " Tony looked at the tablet he had taken from Thor. Natasha looked at the group then and wondered aloud, "This is a smoke screen. Why send a message when you've just given a speech?" Steve's arms were crossed over his chest, "Strucker knew something that Ultron wanted us to miss."
"Yeah, I bet he-" The computer beeped and Nat nodded, "Yeah. Everything we had on Strucker's been erased." Bruce stood next to Carter looking at the screen with interest. "Not everything." Tony looked towards the team once more and motioned them all to follow him to another room. "Carter! I need your help you know where all the file boxes are. I need you to grab them."
When Carter was finished finding the files, he had brought up around ten boxes all containing files on subjects. "Known associates. Baron Strucker had a lot of friends-" Steve was in disbelief but he knew the truth. Carter sat next to Bruce while Clint was in the corner, Tony stood with Steve and Thor across from the two with Nat standing at the edge of the table.
"Well, these people are all horrible." Bruce sighed looking at the file in his hands, Tony saw a quick glimpse of a photo in that one, "Wait. I know that guy. From back in the day. He operates off the African coast. Black market arms." Steve looked at Tony with a gaze that made Carter's eyebrows raise. "There are conventions. All right? You meet people. I didn't sell him anything." Clint came to stood behind Tony and Steve.
"He was talking about finding something new,a game-changer. It was all very Ahab." Tony was thinking hard about what the game changer was. Carter stood up and walked behind where Thor and Steve were, he wanted to see the photos.
"This?" Thor pointed to something ont he mans neck, "It's a tattoo, I don't think he had it." Tony shook his head.
"No those are tattoos, this is a brand." Carter nodded at Thors words seeing the black markings compared to the damage done on the skin. Bruce had ran to the computer to look up the meaning of the mark."Yeah. It's a word in an African dialect meaning "thief." In a much less friendly way." Bruce took of his glasses looking back at the team.
"What dialect?" Steve asked, "Wakanada...Wakanda." Carters head snapped up, that only meant one thing, and it wasn't good. "If this guy got out of Wakanda with some of their trade goods..." Tony looked at Steve with an unspoken connection, "I thought your father said he got the last of it."Bruce clapped his hands together as Carter looked down and rubbed his face. "I don't follow. What comes out of Wakanda?"
Tony looked to Bruce, "The strongest metal on Earth." Carter felt the goosebumps raise on his skin, he was nervous. "Where is this guy now?" Steve whispered looking at Tony.
"The African coast." Carter spoke, realizing the only way he could export quick and possible was a coastline, but he also needed a hide out, so it was most likely a junk yard type of thing, along with a place to run a business. The group looked at Carter, "What I took Advanced Placement history." Tony looked at the boy with pride, he had taught him well.

Carter had been hiding in the shadows before the Thor, Steve, and Tony made their entrance. Tony had used his jets to center himself in front of the two men. Carter hung behind them watching the girl with careful eyes.
"You two can still walk away from this." Steve motioned to the twins, "Oh we will." Wanda Maximoff was intriguing, her brown eyes coated with an otter rim of red, while her brother, Pietro, had the brighest hair he had ever seen.
Steve shook his head, "I know you've suffered."
"Captain America. God's righteous man. Pretending you could live without a war. I can't physically throw upin my mouth, but..." The metal man known as Ultron spoke, his voice haunting as he stalked towards the three.
Thor took a step forward, "If you believe in peace, then let us keep it."
"I think you're confusing peace with quiet." Ultron spoke back to Thor directly.
"What's the vibranium for?" Tony asked, wanting a response, "I'm glad you asked that, because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan." Ultron put his hand out before blasting Tony back.
Carter made his move and jumped in front of Thor and Cap, "Carter now!" Wanda threw her red energy at the group, but Carter countered with his blue electrical energy. Wanda's teeth clenched as their blasts met in the middle. "You're not the only one enhanced here." Carter muttered as the blast blew them both back.
Carter's dark blue suit contrasted his abilites, the gaulets Tony had made for him worked nicely, he continued to use his electrical blasts to stop the robots in their tracks.
Carter had stalled a bit before he felt the girl behind him, he turned swiftly and grabbed her arm the red energy swarming around her fingers. "Do it. I dare you." Carters eyes were filled with rage, it was almost as if he wanted her to see, to see the monster he feared he was becoming.
Carter felt the energy swarm into his mind, and Wanda's eyes glowed a deep red, she then saw through his eyes. "Carter!" He heard his mother scream at him, "Stop it!" Carters face was filled with blood and this evil wicked smile covered his face, the dead avengers lay behind him and down by her feet. Wanda watched in horror as she witnessed the death of so many. Carter had knocked his mother back onto the ground, and she had tears running down her face, her hair sprawled out around her head.
"Carter please!" The woman screamed as he hovered over her, he threw his hand out onto her chest and sent an electrical impluse stronger than anything he had done before, she screamed out in pain, the red hot flashes burst into Wandas head, but Carter kept going. Wanda screamed and instantly regretted what she had done, she made him relive his absolute fear, and the horror of his nightmares.
Carters worst nightmare playing out before her and she was responsible for bringing that to light. She saw Carter turn to her then, the blood coated his head and dripped down his face, his smile stretched to the end of his face and soon it was all over...

defff was thinking about the best vampire diaries villan, kai, in that last scene there...i hope to finish age of ultron soon! i'm halfway there so whoop! Please refrain from telling me to update, I will hopefully start chapter 7 tomorrow! Thank you all so much for being patient.
