Chapter four
Is awake and ready to wreck havoc on the unsuspecting of the world.
errrrrrrrrr mental barrier is down. I looked at my alarm clock 8am !
Alex ! what have I told you about making world domination plans before 9am ! I'm trying to sleep.
Well it's no good doing it after that time as your awake and would spoil my plans, anywayyou need to wake up little sis and smell the aroma created by Kitty.
That was when I caught a whiff of pancakes coming from the kitchen, Clay. Here. Now ? At 8am ! Ohh well I guess I should get up before he sees me with crazy bed hair, bunny rabbit pjs and no make-up !
I've been at Phoenix Academy for a month now. I thought it was going to be awful and terrifying. Without any guardians I thought this would be a disaster and that I would never feel safe. However I have never felt more safe than when I'm with Clay. I know that he would jump in front of a bullet for me, run into a burning building or push me out of the way of a moving car.
Not that I would ever want him to do any of these things for me, I would die if anything happened to him, he is my air.
"hi sweetheart" He said as he wraps his arms around my waist and places a soft kiss on my forehead once I'm showered and dressed " Breakfast is almost ready Alex said I was risking my life if I went in there at this time of the morning"
"Alice just loves the mornings, she is always up at this time happy and smiling" laughed Alex as he sat down on the sofa. apparently waiting for pancakes for himself.
"yeah I might be up, No, I'm not happy about it" I snipped to Alex.
suddenly I felt some soft worm lips on mine. I just melted. Okay not such a bad waking up after all. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer for a deeper kiss.
yuck Alice. Mental barrier goes up. there is no way Alex is going to stop this and it deserves him right for waking me up.
"Sorry about the early morning. Marissa was in my room first thing banging on again how she cant believe I love you" he turned back to the pancakes and starting flipping them "gesssh she needs to get over it already. I hope she did not give you too much of a hard time. She's not a bad person really just a bit shocked. oooh you look stunning by the way, hope I don't embarrass you too much in my leather jacket and jeans. What are your plans this evening ?"
I did not reply.
"Alice"
Still no reply.
"Alice" Clay comes over to me looking concerned and Alex sits up wondering what I'm thinking.
Still no reply
"Alice what's wrong" Clay has now grabbed my arms, looks panic stricken and Alex is now standing beside him.
"you..you love me?"
relief floods their faces. Alex rolls his eyes and picks up a pancake and heads to his room.
""ooh baby" he pulls me to his chest in a hug " I thought you were ill or something. don't do that to me. Of course I love you. I know I've not known you long but you complete me. I'm nothing without you. I can't focus in my classes, I just go through the motions, all my thoughts are of you "he lifts my chin forcing me to look up at him " I love you, and I'm never going to let you go"

This last month we have spent almost every waking minute together, I even go and watch his after school combat practices just to be with him. I force him to hang around with Marissa even though she's his sister, and they don't get along all that well. I told him she was my friend and he had to learn to deal with it. We have watched films in the common room, done our homework together, just sat across from each other while talking with our friends. It's a comfort just to know he is near me.
"This is going to be so difficult" I said between kisses a few days later.
"tell me about it, how am I supposed to say goodbye to my little sis when she is snogging face with a cat" Alex interrupts sarcastically.
"I'm not a cat I'm a panther" Clay teasingly said.
"Alex quit teasing him and give me a hug"
"please can I meet your parents. I don't see why they can't get you at the academy"
"I told you they don't like the drive up the hill in their car, so iv to walk down. And no you're not walking me there you will get in trouble for leaving the school" i reminded him as he looked like he was going to argue.
Giving clay one last kiss goodbye, waving to Alex I left the gates heading towards the village a mile down the road where there will be guardians waiting to take me back to London, and then on to the palace from there. oh joy ! I hate having to lie to Clayton. I could not really tell him that it's not my parents meeting me because I'm a princess, and I was going to an all girls 16th coming of age party, which is why Alex is not coming. Clay thinks I'm going to a birthday party of a friend from back home. Half right.
So I wander down the road towards the village. I don't like it. But I know the guards will have made sure it's safe and there is no one around. Iv closed down the mental link so Alex does not see how scared I am of walking a mile alone. It's only a mile right. What could happen ?
Alex's P.O.V
I thought sending us here was the most stupid thing they could have done. But nooooooo, they had to go one step further. She should not be walking down that road alone, anything could happen to her !
grrrrrrrrrrrrrr This should not have happened.
I was sitting in the cafeteria attempting some breakfast. Clayton is sitting across from me shuffling food across his plate. Poor guy.
Alice has only been gone an hour and he is already pinning after her.
And that was when the whole room went quiet and looked towards the main doors leading into the cafeteria where two were-wolves were standing in leather armour with swords at their waist. And a tattoo with the Erricsson family crest with a sword through the middle on their left shoulder. The tattoo of the royal families personal guards. Now I was seriously worried.
"Alexander Ericsson" one of them announced in a loud voice to the whole room.
I got out of my seat without a word and followed them. Every single eye of the whole school was on me as I followed them out and into an empty classroom. Dreading what they were going to tell me. Alice had been killed ?
"Your highness this a serious matter and must be dealt swiftly, I apologise for the bluntness of what I will be telling you but understand we need to get on quickly. Your sister did not arrive, we walked up towards the school where we found evidence of a struggle, we believe she has be taken. Someone must have known about this but we do not know how. You are not too worry. We will get her back. Do you sense anything with your link ?" Jonas who was usual my personal guard asked. He looked worried and angry. Of course he's angry. He left us thinking we were safe to then collect Alice from a School a month later and her to go missing. And he knew nothing about it. Poor Jonas.
I Closed my eyes and focused on Alice. Hoping beyond hope to sense her. "nothing" I could barley control my voice.
"the safest place is for you here."I opened my mouth but was silenced with the flick of his hand and Jonas continued speaking at once "Do not protest your highness, without having to guard you we can have more people looking for her. We will find her within the hour. they cannot have gone far and anyway they left a scent behind so some guardians are already following it. Wait in your room for more news. Do not leave under any circumstanced until one of us return. Do you understand ?"
"I understand".
"Breath deep"
"Find peace" Alex finished the standard goodbye greeting.
With that they put their right fist over there heart and bowed and left the room to search for my kidnapped little sister.
I did not move until 20 minutes later when a class came in, where I proceeded to my room still totally shocked unable to even imagine this had actually happened.
Alice's P.O.V
Black.
All I can see is black. It's the only comfort to me. I think I have a straw bag over my head. My head is pounding from where I hit the ground when I was attacked. My head seems to be the only thing off limits to them. They're taking turns. My whole body is bruised.
I can vaguely remember how they threw me to the ground where I lost consciousness. I woke up with a bag over my head disorientated. They were stripping me of my clothes, I tried to struggle but my hands and legs were tied, to what I did not know. It was only when I felt the cold breeze against my skin did I realise I was totally naked. I tried to scream but each time I made a sound I was hit across the head hard.
I don't know how many where there, there was a number of hands and mouths running over my exposed body caressing and biting it. I was sure they drew blood. I was standing up. I let out an ear piercing scream as someone entered me, grunting and groaning as they took pleasure from my helpless state, They were thrusting me. And then Pain shot through my body as someone entered me from behind. I Screamed and screamed just hoping that someone would hear me and save me from this brutal attack,
I was slipping out of consciousness when I thought to keep up my mental barrier so Alex would not have to know, but soon realised my head was too fuzzy and it had been down a while, which meant Alex knew exactly what was happening.
