Parents and brother—all three
side against me, so it can't be
them, right? Must be me.
I must be the one who's crazy.
Must be me.
If it's my fault,
I can fix it.

Some people are derisive or dismissive of others who deny or ignore any type of abuse.
If you grow up with it being normal, or if (almost?) everyone around you sides with the others, you don't know it's abuse.
And if you're trapped (or feel trapped, or have been conditioned to think of yourself as trapped), it's far easier to assume it's you rather than them, because if it's you, you can fix it. If it isn't you, you can't. And if you're trapped, how do you escape that?
