beach and hides from the
sky, yet she dips her toes
in the sea and lets the
salt water seep into her bones. she absorbs the sun rays and bottles the ocean breeze.
the wind caresses her
scalp and threads through
her fingers. the sand
beneath her feet is
sinking, a lack of surface
tension and trust. a wide
grin graces her face as her
heart races at the sight
of growing waves. this is
her fate, running away
from her destiny and
concealing her eyes
from clouds.
shoe loves
the sin of the ocean.
