Once the weekend was over, everyone had to return to school. But they knew that something special was going to happen. Today, they were going to choose their work placements.
Everyone got to school and sat down, but everyone started to swarm Izuku and ask him questions.

We interrupt this program for breaking news!
Earlier today, a large gang of criminals attempted to rob an apartment building. One of the criminals had summoned a giant meteor to destroy everything. But at the last moment, a young teenager who was identified as Izuku Midoriya, the same teen who had won all the events at the recent UA Sports Festival jumped up and completely destroyed the meteor with a single hit, saving the entire city!

Before Izuku could answer any of the questions, Aizawa entered the room and silenced everyone while making them go to their proper seats.
"Today we you will be choosing your work placements. During the Sports Festival, the pros would tune in and decide which students they would want to mentor. And they would give votes on who they're interested in. This who did not receive any votes have 40 companies to choose from." Aizawa explained, then he wrote all the students who had votes and how many they got. Izuku only got 3 votes while Todoroki and Uraraka had 20. Bakugo had 15.
'I only got three votes...' Izuku thought to himself.
"Midoriya.." Aizawa called. "Although you only got three votes, over 20 pro-heroes send these clips." Aizawa said as he pulled out a remote, making a computer monitor pop out from the roof. It opened to show a montage of clips from pro-heroes. It first showed Kamui Woods.
"Izuku Midoriya? Forget asking him to work under us! We should be asking him if we can be his sidekicks!"
Then it showed Mt. Lady. "~Hey Izuku-kun. Call me up if you ever need a sidekick ;)"
Then it showed other pros asking if they can be HIS sidekicks, which pissed off Bakugo and amazed the entire class.
'The pros are asking to be sidekicks!?'
"Now, here are your application forms." Aizawa said while handing out pieces of paper. "We had to make a special one for you Midoriya since most of the heroes want to be your sidekicks instead of it being the other way around. Now take your time with these, but make sure you pass it by the end of the day."
Izuku then looked at his form to see that even some of the teachers wanted him to work with them. He looked at the ones that voted for him, but he noticed that one of them stood out, it was a name he had only heard of once. Gran Torino.
'From what I remember, he was one of Allmight's members and retired early from being a hero... He's rarely ever mentioned and only a handful know of his existence...' Izuku thought to himself. Then he noticed something on the form, it was a box that was labeled 'none of the choices'. He also noticed a side note saying to talk to the principal if he were to pick that option. He then decided to ask the principal about it. He walked to the office and knocked on the door.
"Come in!" He heard the principal say from the other side.
He opened the door to see the principal, a bear-rat creature with a great intellect, sitting on his chair.
"Hello principal Nedzu, I came to ask regarding this one option on the application form."
"Ah... You mean the 'none of the choices' option? Well you see, we've monitored your speed and strength and decided that you your good enough to handle villains by yourself."
"What do you mean exactly?"
"Well, if you were to pick that option, we would give you a temporary license and we would send you on a mission to apprehend the Hero Killer"
"Oh...." Izuku said with a million thoughts rushing through his head.
"Are you going to pick that one?" Nedzu asked.
"I guess... But am I allowed to have backup or something?"
"Sure! Feel free to pick from any of the pros who requested to be your sidekick, you may pick a maximum of two to work with you on this task."
"Okay..." Izuku said. Then he began to think about who to pick. He decided on picking Kamui Woods since the Hero Killer focused with blades. He figured that Kamui's wooden skin would act as armor. Then he was deciding on his second pick. But he couldn't find anyone that was useful enough to his liking, but he did think of a teacher that would be useful.
"Have you decided on your team?" Nedzu asked.
"Yes, I have decided on picking Kamui Woods. He is experienced with hand to hand combat plus his wooden skin would make a great defense against the Hero Killer's weapons."
"Is that the only person your picking?"
"Well no... The problem is, none of the others seem useful enough. But I was actually hoping if I can request a teacher here..."
"And who would this teacher be?"
"Midnight-sensei" he replied.
"Hmm... I can see why you would pick her. Hang on, I need to discuss with her first." Nedzu said. Then he got a microphone that was on his desk. He turned it on and spoke into it, which sent it throughout the entire speaker system of the school. "Would Midnight please come to the Principal's Office?" Nedzu said into the mic. After a minute or so, Midnight entered the room.
"Hello Ms. Midnight." Nedzu said. "Midoriya picked the special option we gave him and has requested that you be part of his team to capture the Hero Killer. Are you okay with this?"
"Of course I am!" She exclaimed in a happy and determined tone. "Someone needs to put that villain in his place! Plus, I wouldn't mind working with that cutie" she said while looking to Izuku while winking at him.
"Then it's settled! You, Midoriya and Kamui Woods set out tomorrow!" Nedzu said.
"Kamui huh?" Midnight said. "Interesting choice"
"Now, if I may? I need to get back to class." Izuku asked.
"Go ahead." Nedzu said.
Izuku was about to walk out the door when Midnight stopped him and gave him a peck on the cheek.
"What was that for!?" Izuku exclaimed while blushing a bit.
"~Sorry, I tend to get a bit close with who I'm working with" Midnight said before licking her lips. Izuku then went out the door and back to his classroom. Sadly, he failed to notice the lipstick mark Midnight left before he entered the classroom.
The boys then took notice to it pretty quickly.
"Woah! Someone kissed Midoriya!!" Kaminari exclaimed catching everyone's attention. Then they noticed the lipstick mark. Then Mineta was crying tears of blood from jealousy.
Izuku then looked at his cheek through the corner of his eye and saw a shade of magenta. "Oh shit!" He exclaimed while wiping it off. "I didn't even realize Midnight-sensei had lipstick on!"
"EH!!!!?? MIDNIGHT-SENSEI KISSED YOU!!!!!!!!???" Most of the class exclaimed. Then Mineta tackled him and started shaking him. A bunch of the other boys got jealous as well.
Once it died down, someone asked which work placement he chose.
"Well.... About that, I'm actually doing actual hero work instead..."
"NANI!!?" The class yelled. "HOW!!!?"
"Well... They will give me a temporary license and make me work with two pros to apprehend a certain villain..."
"Damn!!!" Kirishima exclaimed. "That must be exiting!"
"I envy you dude." Sero said.
*Time Skip*
It was the next day where all do the students wen to the train station for their work placements. Everyone had brought their costumes with them and was listening to Aizawa's last lecture. Once it ended, the class was walking into the station. Then they noticed Kamui Woods and Midnight waving.
"Midoriya!" The two pros yelled. "Over here!"
"Coming!" Izuku said as he ran ahead to meet them.
"Wait! You're working with those two!?" A bunch of his classmates asked.
"Yes." Izuku replied. "We have to go now guys... See ya!" Midoriya said as he walked away waving. The three walked and boarded a train going to Hosu.
'I hope this ends well...' Izuku thought to himself as Midnight leaned on his shoulder, making her way too close for comfort. "She looks kinda cute when she sleeps" Izuku said to himself. 'I hope this Hero Killer is strong'
