Louis told me you left school early today. My heart ached at the news. I wondered if you'd left because of me. But of course, I already knew; I knew immediately that it was because of me.
I was beyond mindless as I went through the rest of the day, wishing and hoping that someday, one day, I'll have you back in my arms. I'll be able to kiss you, to hold you as we sleep, to love you as the days pass and times get rough. Maybe one day.
But not today.
I can't today.
I just can't.
