The next day
**Third person POV
so normal the students of class 1-A thought as they listened to the English lesson, taught by present mic. Before noon they have normal lessons like any other school, but after noon they have their daily foundational heroics studies taught by the number one hero, All Might
After lunch
"IT'S ME!..." the students suddenly here a loud booming voice "THROUGH THE DOOR, LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!!!" All might gloriously dashed into the class room.
"I can't believe it! All might's really gonna be teaching us!!"
"That design's so silver age! That art style clashes so much it's giving me goosebumps"
"I want Aizawa-sensei's class" [m/n] mumbled, [m/n] was excited to have all might as a teacher, but not nearly as much as the others.
"Foundational hero studies! For this class, we'll be building up your hero foundation through various trials! Let's jump right in with this!!!" he pulled out a card with battle written boldly on it "THE TRIAL OF BATTLE"RIP Midoriya-san [m/n] thought to himself "And to go with your first battle... we've prepared the gear we had you send in request forms to match your quirks!" then the walls opened up and brought out the students uniforms
"Our battle gear!!"
"Awesome!!"
"Get changed and we'll be ready to go! Everyone gather at grounds B! The grab you bring into battle is vitally important, Boys and Girls!! And don't forgot! from now on out, YOU'RE ALL OFFICIALLY HEROES!!"
After everyone changed [m/n] was jogging out into the battle ground along with Midoriya.
"All right! Let's see what your made of, you embryos!! It's time for the trial of battle!!!" All might announced
This is [m/n]'s hero costume, expect instead of a holder for the katana, it's his Sai, a belt thingy were he can keep his Sai, and other equipment.
"Ah! Deku! [n/l/n]! Cool costumes!" Uraraka complemented the two
"Uraraka.. whoa!!" Midoriya blushed, luckily it wasn't very visible through the mask
"I wish I'd drawn my request sketch a little better... my costume came out a bit puffy" She sheepishly scratched the back of her neck
"Heroics is the greatest." Mineta gave a thumbs up
All might then began explaining to the class that statistically most villain attacks happen indoor I hear that [m/n] thought to himself. The students would be doing a two on two team battle indoor, one group being the heroes the other being villains, the teams would be chosen by drawing lots
"Let's begin!" All might announced "Oh! And due to the uneven number, one team would have 3 people"
The teams:
A- Uraraka and Midoriya
B- Todoroki and Shoji
C- Yaoyorozu and Mineta
D- Bakugou and Iida
E- Aoyama and Ashido
F- Koda and Sato
G- Jiro and Kaminari
H- Tokoyami and Asui
I- Ojiro and Hagakure
J-Kirishima, Sero and [m/n]
"Hey man, guess we're a team!" Kirishima walked up to [m/n] with Sero following behins
"o-oh, hello, Kirishima-san" he turns and looks over at Sero, "you must be Sero-san, hello" he said bowing his head a little
"Let's do our best!" Sero smiles. All might reaches into two different boxes, one labeled hero, the other labeled villain
"And the first two pairs to do combat will be the following!" he pulls out the balls and [m/n] nearly shits himself upon seeing the result. "Pair A will be heroes! Pair D will be villains!" All might explain to them how the villains will have 5 minutes before the hero team enter. As they are about to leave, [m/n] walked up to Midoriya and Uraraka
"Midoriya-san" said boy turns his head "will you be alright?"
"To be honest I don't know" this didn't make [m/n] feel any better
"Bakugou-san is definitely gonna do something rash, please be careful and don't do anything stupid" Midoriya nods "You too Uraraka-san, he won't go easy on you either, but he'll mostly be out for Midoriya-san anyways, but still, you two be careful"
"We will" Uraraka smiles
"well, good luck" should I hug or high five!? what do people do in situations like this!? [m/n] panicked a little, he just waved and walked away to join the others.
[m/n] is watching anxiously at the screen, they couldn't here what was going so they had no idea what was being said. As Uraraka and Midoriya are walking down the hall being cautious of an attacked. Once they turn the corner, Bakugou out off the corner and blast them with his quirk, Midoriya jumps in front of Uraraka to protect her pushing they both to the ground.
"A sudden ambush!" Mineta gasps
"That Bakugou's a cheater! An ambush is so unmanly!" Kirishima yells
"Ambushes are a good strategy! They are in the heat of battle after all!" All might informs, [m/n] on the other hand was staring intensely at the screen biting his nails. He watched as Midoriya grabbed Bakugou's hands and flung him over his shoulders making Bakugou groan as his back hit the floor. Nice one Midoriya-san! Using the moves I taught you! [m/n] cheered in his head
"What is he saying? there's no sound through the surveillance footage." Kirishima wonders
"Teammates can communicate through wireless transceivers. And they all have a rough sketch of the building. And then there's this capture tape! The second someone's wrapped this around their opponent. That's the sign they're 'captured'!" All might explained
"The time limit is 15 minutes, and the heroes don't know exactly where the core is being held right?"
"YES!"
"The hero side is at a pretty heavy disadvantage in this scenario."
"Didn't Aizawa-sensei teach you kids our motto? say it with me now!"
"PLUS ULTRA!" everyone expect a select few yelled with there hands up. Suddenly they hear a growling noise and see [m/n] staring angrily at the screen with his arms crossed. Bakugou was mercilessly attacking Midoriya, so Uraraka took this chance to run away and find the bomb.
"Oi? [n/l/n]-kun" [m/n] turned his head to see Kirishima "Are you ok? You look really worried"
"o-oh, I... I'm just really worried about midoriya-san. Bakugou-san is ruthless and he might really hurt Midoriya-san"
"You three have known each other before?"
"Ah, w-well we went to the same junior high, but those two have a longer history with each other" he scratched his nape, looking down with blush on his cheeks. Fuck! his costume is killing me [m/n] yelled in his head if I look at him in the eyes, my eyes will drift down and he'll think I'm a creep!
"oooh, I see, sounds complicated"
"It- it is"
...
Uraraka was able to find Iida protecting the bomb, she watched as he was getting into character and taking being a villain seriously and chuckled in response causing him to spot her, now she has to find away to get the bomb. She tells Midoriya that she had been discovered and she attempts to get to the bomb. Then Bakugou finds Midoriya and the two are getting ready to fight. At this point [m/n] gazing anxiously as the battle continues.
Bakugou pulls on the little pin on his gullet and a massive explosion causes a huge chuck of the building to be destroyed and Midoriya flying into a wall and crashing down on the ground.
"Midoriya-san" [m/n] gasps shaking with angry and if looks could kill, Bakugou would haven been dead 100 time just form [m/n] staring at him
"Sensei please put a stop to this! That Bakugou kid's gone mental, at this rate he'll kill him!" Kirishima urges but all might refuses. Kirirshima looked over [m/n] and nearly shit himself when he saw the look of pure angry on his face.
"Bakugou, my boy, if you shoot another blast like that, i'll forcibly end this exercise and you will lose" All might warned him. Bakugou ran at Midoriya with full speed and used his quirk to jump into the air, and used it once more to change his direction and hit Midoriya's back with is explosion cause him to groan in pain. then he punched him in the arm, hard with his gullet, he grabbed Midoriya's arms and flung him into the ground. If you look close enough you could see the steam coming out of [m/n]'s body by now and the temperature around him is a tad bit warmer.
The two boys charge towards each other at full speed, Midoriya using his quirk and Bakugou getting his explosions ready. Uraraka suddenly grabbed the pillar and hold on tight confusing Iida. Midoriya punches upwards, the force of the wind destroying the roof and he uses his other hand to block Bakugou's explosion, Uraraka used her quirk and lifts up the broken pillar and uses it as a bat to swing the rubble to Iida, then she uses this chance to grab unto the bomb.
"HERO TEAM WINS!!" All might announced, after that Uraraka slid onto the floor on her knees exhausted and Midoriya fell to the floor and blacked out.
"The losing team is fairly injured; the winning team is collapsed. in other wods they lost the scuffle but won the match" Tokoyami said
"This was only ever just training though." Asui stated. Bakugou began breathing heavily and seemed to be panicking at the thought of him having lost to Midoriya. All might then went and got him to calm down a little. [m/n] watched as midoriya was being carried away in a stretcher, when All might, Bakugou, Iida and Uraraka walked into the room [m/n] immediately charged at Bakugou. He pushed bakugou back making him slam into the wall, sending daggers into his soul just by staring at him. The whole class was shocked by the actions of the [h/c] haired boy.
"Bakugou-san, just what the actual fuck was that?" he glared at the ash blond boy deep into his soul "what wrong with you!? were you trying to kill him!?" Bakugou didn't say anything, (for once) he only glared at [m/n] making him even more pissed off "ANSWER ME!!" All might grabbed [m/n], hoisting him up my his armpits
"Young [n/l/n], calm down!" he pleaded, but [m/n] began kicking his legs trying to make contact with Bakugou's face
"PUT ME DOWN!" he was somehow able to escape all might's grip and charged for Bakugou once more, grabbing him by his tank top and pulling him down to his height. Bakugou grabbed [m/n]'s wrist ready to attack, this time Kirishima came and held him back while Sero stepped in front of Bakugou "LET ME GO!!" he screamed.
"[n/l/n]-kun Calm down!!" Kirishima pleaded
"Chill out" Sero says to [m/n]. Bakugou just walks past him like nothing happened, and a small 'tch' could be heard
"Breathe my boy, young Midoriya will be fine, Recovery girl will fix him right up" All might tried calming him down and surprisingly it worked. [m/n] stopped struggling and Kirishima let go
"Gomen" he simply said with his bangs covering his eyes but his fists still clenched tightly together. Next they discussed about the match, which was Yaoyorozu pointing the flaws in detail and how Iida was the best in the match, but [m/n] didn't pay that any attention, only silently waiting for his turn.
The next match was team B as the hero team and team I as the villain team, [m/n] had admit he was impressed when Todoroki froze the entire building instantly ending the match with their victory. After their match it was time for [m/n]'s teams match, the 3 of them are going up against Tokoyami and Asui. Heh, villain team huh? I guess I'm well experienced in this [m/n] scoffs. The 3 males head over to the top floor to set up the bomb, the battle will begin soon.
"a-ano..." [m/n] said in a low voice, but still gained their attention "a-about earlier" [m/n] suddenly bowed "Gomenasai" the two stare at him in confusion "I let my emotions get the best of me and caused a huge scene" I believe apologizing in a situation like this is correct?
"Oh that! don't worry about it" Kirishima smiles
"It's no big" Sero pipes up, the two pat the smaller boys hair both surprised at how soft it was. [m/n] then smiled a little as he turned his head away with a hint of pink of his cheeks, the sight of this made Kirishima and Sero explode in a bright red colour "w-well lets get ready" Sero cleared his throat.
"Sero-san, can you tape around the room to protect the weapon, also can I get some of the tape?"
"yeah" Sero handed him some tape and began to tape around the room
"Kirishima-san can you protect the weapon with Sero-san? I'll go after the heroes"
"Alright! we're counting on you!" [m/n] nodded and headed off.
[m/n] is lurking around the 2nd floor waiting for the hero team to appear, he turns the corner and is face-to-face with Asui, he quickly pulls out his Sai and starts charging towards her. Asui jumps out of the way uses her tongue and wraps it around [m/n] before flinging him into the wall making him groan. As I suspected, fighting a real person if different from robots. He got up and charged toward her once more, he dodged her tongue in swift movements. This boy moves similar to Aizawa-kun All might thought as he observed from the screen, once [m/n] got close enough he used the tape he got from Sero and taped Asui to the wall, buying him some time to go look for Tokoyami.
"Kirishima-san Sero-san" [m/n] calls from the wireless transceiver "Is Tokoyami-san there?"
"No, not yet" Kirishima answers
"I was able to tape Asui-san to the wall, but it won't last much long, I wanna find Tokoyami-san and lure him away from the we-- AAAHH!" [m/n] suddenly crashed into the wall
"[n/l/n]! what happened!?" Kirishima and Sero question, he didn't answer, he was currently looking up to see dark shadow above him, and Tokoyami in the distance. He got up pulling out his Sai and getting ready to fight.
"Sero, I'm gonna go help him alright!"
"Yeah, I'll watch the weapon" Kirishima runs to find [m/n]. He eventually finds him battling with Tokoyami
"[n/l/n]!"
"Kirishima-san?! what are you doing here?!"
"Helping you" he runs behind [m/n] and blocks the tongue from getting him.
"Asui-san, go find the weapon I'll keep them busy!" Tokoyami says
"Ok Tokoyami-chan" she hops off, now it's Kirishima and [m/n] versus Tokoyami
"Sero-san! be on guard! Asui is on her way"
"Hai!" Kirishima uses his quirk to block the attacks from dark shadow and distract him, while [m/n] swops down and ties Tokoyami with the capture tape he took from Kirishima and with perfect timing time's up
"VILLAIN TEAM WINS!!" All Might announced.
"Awesome we won!" Kirishima suddenly pulls [m/n] into a hug, making his face just as red as Kirishima's hair, and his mind goes blank
==========Time Skipo==========
"Good work everyone!" All might congratulates them "Apart from young Midoriya, there were no big injuries! Nevertheless, no hold barred! For you first full training exercise, you all did wonderfully!"
"such an honest lesson right on the heels of Aizawa sensei's... kinda anticlimactic if you ask me..." Asui says and most of the other students nod
"Honest lessons also fall in with our 'freedom' here on campus! Now then, I'm going to share that critique with young midoriya! Change clothes and return to the classroom!" then all might dashes off. [m/n] turns back and see Bakugou still looking down and depressed as hell, he 'tch' ed and began walking into the changing rooms.
After school
Midoriya finally showed up in class and got the attention of the class
"Oh hey Midoriya! Nice job back there!" Kirishima said "Well, I couldn't hear what you were saying, but that was some heated stand-off man!"
"Huh!?" Midoriya said in confusion
"You dodged like a champ!" Ashido praised him
"That first match was intense it fired us al up!" Satou said
"Yo I'm Kirishima Eijirou! we were just finishing up our review meeting about the exercise!"
"Hi, I'm Ashido Mina! You dodged him really well!"
"I'm Asui tsuyu, but call me tsuyu, okay?"
"Heya Satou here!" they all introduced themselves, then Uraraka came up to Midoriya
"Huh!? Deku-kun you wounds! Are they not healed yet!?"
"Ah don't worry, this is just because my physical strength is a bit sapped, but where's [m/n]-kun"
"Oh he's over there" Uraraka pointed at the boy with his head resting on his desk, "He was really worried about you"
"Yeah, he almost got in a fight with Bakugou" Kirishima joined
"Seriously!!?"
"uh huh, he was yelling and grabbed Bakugou's top and Bakugou was gonna use his quirk" Uraraka explained
"Sero and I had to hold him back" Midoriya was quiet and when he looked up he saw [m/n] slowly lifting up his head, when he saw Midoriya he instantly stood up from his chair
"Midoriya-san!" he ran over to the boy "Are you ok!?"
"yeah, I'm fine"
"I'm glad to hear that" [m/n] relaxed
"[m/n]-kun, where's Kacchan?" [m/n] frowned when he heard the name and Midoriya knew that he really did almost have a fight with him
"He left." then Midoriya left to find Bakugou leaving [m/n] to feel slightly displeased as to why Midoriya cared so much about Bakugou.
....
[m/n] watched from the window along with Uraraka, Asui, and Ashido. Once Bakugou walked away leaving Midoriya and All might alone, [m/n] left the 3 to grab his things and head home.
"Where you going [n/l/n]-chan" Asui asked
"Oh, I'm going home, I have a head ache, can you tell Midoriya-san I already left"
"Sure, feel better tomorrow" Uraraka said and the 3 waved at the [h/c] haired boy as he walked away. Tch, fucking Bakugou-san
Sorry if this chapter was a little bit shitty, but anyways hope you enjoyed it, i'm trying to make it as interesting as possible, so don't hate, I'm still new to this fanfiction writing stuff... yeah
P.S. even though it doesn't happen this early in the manga I'm thinking of making them move into the dorm already, I'm still deciding whether or not I should do it.
