Two Months Later...
Quavious POV
I looked at my suit in the mirror it still needed a few alterations but other than that it was perfect! We already had everything set.. We had a few family members flying in and some close friends of mine on the way. I still hadn't picked out a best man which was gonna be between Take or Set.. I couldn't choose both.. even tho I could..
"Where's the honeymoon gon be?" Set asked going through his phone
"Barbados, but don't tell Royalty tho" I smiled
"You ready to be a husband and father? I mean it's all a big step for you and we blowing up with this fame and shit"
I sighed messing wit my chainz before answering his question
"I'm ready..." I shrugged.

I messed around in the studio for a bit before I headed back home. I really needed to clear my mind.. I was ready to be a dad and a husband but all the talk about it has had me on edge lately. I can't back out of any of it but this was really making me scared
I wrote some verses down in my book while vibing out to the beat. I heard the door open and close behind me turned around and saw Royalty walking in with my shirt on and her five month belly that was now visible
"Hey baby" I smiled turning down the music
"Ugh! I swear paparazzi is a pain in the ass" She sat in the chair by me
"What happened?" I sat up straight
"You're about to find out" She sighed
I scrunched my face up then my phone started vibrating and I saw I was tagged in a post from the shade room.. oh lord! I opened it and there was a picture of Royalty walking through the mall
Quavo's soon to be wifey was spotted in the mall in Atlanta rocking one of his shirts and what appears to be a baby bump?👀 Is the up and coming rapper expecting a baby?
I locked my phone without reading any further. I sighed and leaned back rubbing my face staring at the ceiling
"My appointment is tomorrow.. after that we can tell the whole fucking world I'm pregnant" She rolled her eyes
I knew she was frustrated by all of this and that's the last thing I wanted cuz I know exactly how she can be..
"Royalty.. don't be that way"
"What?! I don't have anymore privacy! We don't have a life anymore everything we do is always gonna be in the eye of the public.. I can't live this way Quavious"
"What you mean?" I raised my brow
"I mean I can't do this.. I can't marry a famous rapper if the whole world is going to be involved" She stood up wiping her tears
"So you don't wanna marry me now because of a few pictures? You knew what was going to happen when I got signed.. hell when you got involved wit me since day one and I told your ass what my dreams were! Why are you trying to pull this shit now?" I stood up
"And I just realized I'm not ready for this! Not this type of publicity... the wedding is off" She sighed. "I love you" She walked away towards the door
"Royalty!" I grabbed her arm pulling her back. "Is you fucking serious right now!!! You need to stop thinking about your damn self all the time! You're not the only one in this shit!"
"Can you please stop making this harder than it has to be?" She snatched away
"If you walk out that door I swear everything we have is done.. I'll be the best father I can be, but me and you are thru" I looked down at the floor
"I love you" I heard the door open and close and right then and there I just wanted to end it all...
Royalty POV
I can't believe that just happened!! Me and Qua are done.. we ended things! I never imagined breaking up with him but I can't take all the lights, camera and fame.. it's just not for me.
I sat out on the bench outside the studio crying I really wanted him to run out here and tell me he wanted to try and make this work but he didn't and that hurt me the most
"Wassup chicken head" Set laughed sitting by me until he noticed I was crying. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing" I wiped my face
"Royalty India Michaels" He gave me a stern face
"Me and Qua just broke up" I sighed trying to stay calm
"What?! Why? I mean I know he can be a asshole sometimes, but y'all been rocking wit each other for a minute now... why end it all now? Especially a month before your wedding"
"I can't deal with the fame.. it's all too much and so soon. Me and Qua getting married and a baby on the way, he's a rising artist.. I can't do it"
"Before all of it was fine and now it's not" He chuckled. "One your hormones are getting the best of you and two with the wedding coming up and a baby you're just nervous.. you can't let this ruin your relationship with Quavious. You love him and he loves you.. you gotta make this right between y'all" He gave me a tight hug
"I just need some time" I hugged him back
"I'll be sure to tell him that.. get home tho" I nodded and walked to my car while he entered the building
I really don't want to lose Qua
