Chapter 45: Almost Gone

Dream POV

I watched closely while Qua and Royalty headed to the studio. I still had unfinished business with Royalty but I couldn't get rid of her yet! I need her to feel the pain I felt when Garrett died.. and I know just how to do that..

I decided to call a old friend and meet up with him so this plan could go into action!

"Wassup?"

"I need you to take out somebody" I smiled

"What for?" He raised his brow

"They took somebody I loved very much away from me and I want them to feel the same pain that I felt"

"Gimme a description"

"Darkskin, tall with shoulder length dreads"

"I can have him gone in less than a hour" He smirked

"Perfect!"

Royalty POV

I sat in the studio with Qua and Set and as usual Set was trying to start with me! I don't understand why he gets a kick out of fucking with me

"You look like a damn character off dragon Ball Z" He laughed

"And your teeth look like you been chewing on yellow crayons.. nie leave me alone"

"Nigga you don't brush yo teeth?" Qua joked

"I do! You know what fuck y'all!" He crossed his arms walking in the booth

I laughed and sat on Quas lap while he played the beat back for Set

"Wassup ma" He smiled holding my waist

"Nun" I smirked pecking his lips

"Is y'all even listening to me?" Set asked

"Yeah keep going" Qua waved him off squeezing my ass

We continued to have our make out session until Set interrupted being the hater he is! I got up and sat on the leather couch watching them work magic and it sounded amazing.. I couldn't wait to hear the whole mixtape.

"Fuck.." Qua groaned

"What's wrong?" I looked up from my phone

"Ma need me to go pick up Heav from school" He got up

"I'll walk you out" I got up and walked with him out to his car. "I'm sure me and Set will be here by the time you get back"

"Ight.. I might bring Heav wit me" He pulled me close to him

"That's cool.."

He kissed my neck pullin me closer to him.

"Tonight I got a interview, but after that.. it's all about you"

I smiled nodding."I'll look forward to it.. but I guess I better go check on Set"

"Aight baby"

We said our goodbyes and I headed back inside

"Cephus, imma order some pizza .. what you want on it?" I walked back in the studio to see him on the floor with blood everywhere. "Set!"

I kneeled down by him applying pressure on his chest and side. I grabbed my phone calling the ambulance then Qua

"Wassup baby?"

"You have to get back to the studio!"

"What's wrong? Is everything alright?" He asked concerned

"Set got shot.. I don't know what happened!" I cried

"Alright I'm on my way" He hung up

"Ki.. you gotta stay with me"

"Fuck..." He coughed up blood

"Help Is coming okay? But you gotta stay awake.. you can't leave me" I cried even harder

Pretty soon Qua and the ambulance was there. They took him to the hospital and we followed behind them. My white T-shirt was covered in blood along with my hands. I sat in the passenger seat and cried.. no matter how much Set may get on my nerves I didn't want to lose him

When we arrived to the hospital everybody was already there and they took Set to surgery.. I sat off to myself until Qua came and sat by me

"He's gon be alright.. he a fighter baby" He hugged me and I broke down all over again

After awhile we left and went home  so I could shower and change clothes once I was done we headed back to the hospital and waited for any type of update from the doctor

"Cephus?" The doctor walked out with a clipboard. We all stood up

"Is my son alright?" His mom asked

"Shockingly he's fine! The bullet missed his heart by a few inches.. he should heal just fine tho.. of course he'll have to stay here for some time to make sure nothing goes wrong" He informed

"When can we see him?" I asked

"Right now actually, but he is sleeping tho"

We nodded and followed him to his room. We stepped inside and he was sleeping peacefully I stood off to myself away from everybody. I was happy he was fine but I couldn't get that image out my head of seeing him that way..

Quavious POV

I sat by Set's bedside while he talked to Take. I was glad my bro was alright but I had to know who did this! And I wasn't gon sleep until I find out

"Imma go and get some air" Take stepped out leaving me him and Royalty alone

"Who did it?" I sighed

"That nigga from East Side" That's all I need to know!

"Ight.. imma make him pay" I got up

"What? Qua, you should really think this thru" Royalty sighed

"Ain't shit to think about! He just tried to kill our nigga! And for what reason is what I want to know.. It ain't even up for discussion" I walked out with Ro following me

"Quavious!!"

"Look, I'll see you later.. if I ain't home by morning just know I love you and Yaté"

"If you loved us you wouldn't go"

"I got to" I kissed her lips long and hard before pulling away. "I love you"
I walked away heading out the hospital

"Qua!" I heard Royalty calling me

I just got to do this.. I got to!
