"Why is she calling you mom? I'm the only child"
"None of your damn business!!"
"Aye don't talk to her like that!" Qua shoved my dad. "You lost your damn mind!"
"You know..I thought it was funny how when she came in and I got all her information and we shared the same birthday.. not once did I think it would be my twin sister." She chuckled. "You gave me away for what reason? What.. I didn't fit into your lavish lifestyle?"
"Twin sister? I don't have a twin sister" I shook my head
"Yes you do.. we look just alike, we share the same birthday and unfortunately the same parents" She sighed
"Mom.. why didn't you tell me?! When did all of this happen"
"Baby.. it was a long time ago it was for your own good you didn't know" My mom sighed
"You don't have to explain a damn thing to her" My dad mumbled
"Get the fuck out" Take and Set kicked my parents out the room shutting the door leaving me, Qua and Ash standing in silence
"So.. your my twin?"
"Yeah.. I left when we were five. I ended up living with our uncle CJ.. you used to come visit and I was the estranged daughter"
"I remember Uncle CJ.. all too well actually" I shivered at the thought of him
"Me and you both" She gave me a small smile. "I would really love to catch up and get to know more about my twin"
"I'll give you my number before I leave" I smiled
"Awesome! I'm assuming this is your boyfriend" She nodded towards Qua
"Fiancé" He corrected her with a smile
"Well, congratulations" She smiled. "I'll go and get your discharge papers" She walked out shutting the door behind her
"You got a twin" He smirked
"Yeah... I can't believe my parents would hide that from me"
"They full of shit.. I keep telling you that"
"Yeah I'm starting to see that now"

I slipped on one of Qua's shirts and laid down this cast has been pure aggravating! Having to keep my leg elevated constantly and not being able to walk without the assistance of somebody else or crutches is not the move..
"You need anything baby?" Qua asked bringing me some more bottled water
"I'm good.. you should be getting some rest too I wasn't the only one in a car accident" I mentioned
"I'm straight. You and your sister gon hang out soon?"
"I don't know yet.. I'm still trying to grasp the fact of having a sister" I shrugged
"Wait till Zay crazy ass find out" He joked
"She's actually on her way over here I'll tell her then.. that'll give her every reason to hate them even more"
"Everybody in Atlanta hate them fucking people! They ass ain't coming to the wedding" He said in all seriousness which made me laugh a little bit

I walked into the break room to see my lovely girlfriend sitting there waiting on me with lunch! She's going to be thrilled to know how my day went and how I saw my twin which I was sort of happy about.. I can't believe our so called parents would split us up and live a lie and have us be around that sick freak we call a uncle...
"Hey baby" I smiled kissing her cheek
"Hey babe.. how was your day?" She asked
"Interesting.. I met my twin today!"
"Fo' real?"
"Yeah.. her and her Fiancé"
"That's cool.. you guys have a set day to hang out?" She asked
"Nahh... I'm sure we will very soon tho" I shrugged
"Well, I have good news.. Take gave me a couple of bands today.. we're close to having your dream wedding and getting you out of this hell hole"
"I hate the fact you have to sleep around with him, but if that means us having a good life then it is what it is" I sighed
"Well we will have the good life soon! Takeoff will never know what hit him"
"I love you, Dream" I pecked her lips
"I love you more"
