*A vision...
*Wjmf has entered the room.
*Your body struggles under the bed's chains as the man pulls out a knife, making you squirm even more.
*But your body feels numb, as if you are not the one in control.
*He smiles, "Don't worry, I know what I feel, unlike the others."
*"And I won't let them hurt you just because of their idiotic theory."
*You give the knife a nervous look as the man seems to cut the chains with it.
*The chains break down.
*Your vision turns black.
You groggily opened your eyes just a tiny bit, but it seemed to cost some energy. Your eyes slightly adjusted to the room's darkness because of something green dimly glowing in the dark, it was like a light night. However, the energy it took for your eyes to open made you feel numb again, letting you sleep in peace.
"Hey (Y/N), check this out!" (F/N)'s voice created an echo within the dimly lit castle ruins.
You hummed in response, turning towards your friend who pointed at a painted wall. "Look at this wall, dude!" The painted wall seemed to have some kind of story on it.
"What story is it telling? It sure is none that I know of", you commented as your eyes glanced over the wall's "history".
Your friend tapped his index onto his chin in thought, "As far as I know from my family is it about a princess getting kidnapped by nine werewolves. Nine wolves were turned into normal humans by three other men, who wanted to free their kingdom from the wolves' evil grasps. Legends say they were only able to turn back into their wolf forms if they capture the heart of a from humanity isolated woman, and so they decided to take the princess, since she was very isolated because of her father, the king, plus she seemed like an easy target. Then they attempted to kill her multiple times, trying to, quote on quote, 'capture' her heart, since they thought ripping out her heart was the way to do it. However, she also managed to escape multiple times. And let's be real here, their version of "capturing someone's heart" was kinda dumb."
You gave him a look at his amount of knowledge to which he responded with his wiggling eyebrows, making you feel uncomfortable again.
He then cleared his throat, "Anyways. Unfortunately, the werewolves fell in love with the princess and could not bring themselves to harming her any further, especially after they had found out about the woman's necklace, which had a creme colored heart-shaped locket connected to it with white outlines. The darkest werewolf, who was I think the leader, then attempted to steal her necklace, thinking the item was the assumed heart they needed to capture, they clearly didn't understand love... what total idiots... which resolved in a conflict between him and the other werewolves. Their arguement got physical and almost brought their team apart, if it wasn't for the princess gifting them her necklace as a sign for peace between the wolves and her kingdom. Her generosity, honesty and kindness, as well as the fact that the necklace didn't do jack shit, made them realize that they have fallen for a mere human. Only one werewolf figured that out way before the others did, the healer, just because he had to learn about humanity and their bodies in order to heal his pack's wounds."
He then proceeded to walk towards another wall painting, showing the princess in the middle and the werewolves building a circle around her, they seemed to be connected to the woman by some sorts of dark lights, but the werewolves looked a little bit different than in the other scenes, they had a dark aura around each of them as well as a few symbols on their bodies. The only one having a light aura around themselves was the woman. You tilted your head in both confusion and amazement, "What the hell is going on here?"
(F/N) crossed his arms, "Honestly, I have no idea. My parents didn't tell me about this scene." You could have sweorn he was lying, but it was hard to believe because he sounded so dumbfounded himself.
You weren't able to understand what he said afterwards, everything suddenly turned black.
The first thing you saw was the plain white ceiling of the medical room. Groaning, you lazily sat up and looked around the room, the Nightmare Papyruses weren't there anymore. "How long was I asleep?"
"about two days."
You yelped in surprise, turning towards the voice who said it. They were hiding in the shadows of the room, but you could clearly see something green glowing in the dark. Then it hit you, 'Right, I'm still in Nightmare's castle'.
"we thought you were dead, but the faint breathing told us otherwise. nightmare has even tried to enter your dream once but he somehow wasn't able to. i may have just returned yesterday, but it's pretty obvious that the others are behaving rather weird ever since your own arrival", said the mysterious figure.
"Wh-Who are y-you?", you asked since you've never seen that person before, but you could clearly hear that it was a guy, probably another skeleton. He stepped out of the dark, and indeed was he yet another Sans.
"oh right, almost forgot to introduce myself. name's corrosive!sans, but everyone calls me vile. i'm usually seen as the castle's medic, doc and scientist since i'm the only one who loves to treat other's wounds and research certain phenomenons. it reminds me of the time before i was bound to my bro", he pulled out a pair of black gloves from his pockets and put them on, then he stretched out his hand for you to shake. He lightly blushed once you shook hands, smiling, "welcome to the castle, (y/n)!"
You were about to ask how he knew your name when you were cut off by Blackberry entering the room. "Hey, has she woken up yet--?", he stopped himself as he saw you sitting on the medical bed. You slightly flinched back once you realized who he was, remembering what he'd done to you. You may have already forgiven him and everything should be chill between you two, but something about the dream you had made you fear him again, you didn't know what, though. What you didn't notice was the way his eyes were filled with regret, and a small amount of self-hatred.
Vile gave him a smug grin, "welp, doesn't seem like she likes you that much. according to nightmare you've damaged her soul, care to explain why? i may be able to heal physical wounds, but cracks on souls can be mental as well, and i'm not the type of medic to heal mental cracks." The other skeleton scowled as Vile continued, "i'm genuinely surprised you're worried about her, even after your fun on her soul."
Blackberry rolled his eyes at the corrosive skeleton's comment, "Shut up, I may be cruel but I'm not soulless, I even still regret harming her on her first day, okay? B-But don't get the wrong idea, I only don't want Nightmare beating me again. Two of my ribs still have to heal, and it still hurts like shit whenever I lie down. So of course I had to make sure she's not dead yet, I can clearly see the wound Horror gave her!" Blackberry clenched his fists in anger.
The medic chuckled, "my, my... never thought the great and terrible swapfell could feel regret, nor that you would actually care for a human." Said skeleton glared at him.
"o-oh, th-thank you f-for caring, Bl-Blackberry", you said with a small smile, although you were still a little bit scared of him. Blackberry suddenly froze, a bit blue was visible on his cheekbones, Vile just snickered at the royal guard's reaction, "y'alright there, bud?" Blackberry came back to reality as he shook his head.
"I-I'm fine. But could you do me a favor and leave us alone for a bit", Blackberry's question sounded more like an order. Vile raised a bonebrow at him in both amusement and suspicion.
"but i still need to change the bandages--" "I'll make it quick", the edgy skelly cut off the medic. Vile was hesitant before rolling his non-existent pinpricks, "fine. but i'll be right outside, so you better not try to harm her again", then he walked out.
As the door closed, Blackberry sighed and turned to you, his glowing light blue eyes stared into your normal (e/c) ones in curiosity. After a few seconds you broke the awkward silence, "S-So... wh-what did you w-want to talk about?"
"Do you know the cloaked bastard personally?", he asked in a serious way.
You blinked twice in confusion, "CM? Um, n-no, but he d-does remind me of someone."
"Well," Blackberry pulled out something from his pockets, "does this seem familiar to you?" He showed you the (f/c) key you've seen on your first day. Your eyes practically sparkled in excitement, "Nope, but that's my favorite color!"
The skeleton pulled it back in confusion, "It is?" You just rapidly nodded, making him smile a little. 'Heh. Well, at least do I know now what she likes.'
Before he could say anything else the door opened again as the castle's medic walked back into the room, Blackberry grunted as Vile told him to "get the fuck out or he will burn his belongings in corrosive acid and no one would be able to stop him unless someone actually gives a shit about 'Bitchberry' and decides to use Vile's anti-acid equipment". You giggled at Vile's overly long threat, making him smirk at the other skeleton in victory, who was growling at the medic before walking off, angrily shutting the door behind him.
Vile clapped his still gloved hands together,
"alright, time to change the bandages of your wounds again!"

First of all, I apologize for the lack of updates and my own absence, again, and also do I want to thank you guys so much for so many reads and votes as well as comments!^-^
Vile has finally been introduced to the book! Yay! Although he doesn't really act like an evil skeleton, he still is a villain in his own way. :D
And YES, I did something similiar to a time skip because I really don't wanna waste another fifteen chapters on one day, I've already wasted the first fifteen for only day/night one... <_<
Side question: Should I make a special for this? With more fluff? I mean, the next chapter will already be kind of a special because halloween is coming, but I could still do another special with more fluff(= kisses, hugs, cuddles, stuff like that in case you somehow didn't know yet).
And little announcement, so that you already know my next plan: I'm currently working on a NaJ!Villain AUs X Reader book. Just a tiny spoiler: The start has a lot of angst in it.
