Narrator's POV:
Before Terry could utter a word, both of them were shocked to hear ann's voice
ann: oh.. terry, you're already here. I thought you'd pick me up by nine? it's still early.
Terry: i just feel to come before time (smiles) where have you been?
ann: uh.. i just bought something..
Terry: Ice cream, am i right?
ann: (licks her lips) no..
Terry: (chuckles) just make sure that you have your breakfast before eating that.
ann: (chuckles nervously) it's because we ran out of stock..
Terry: (sighs) so.. are you ready?
Ann: (nods) yep..
Terry: good. I'll wait for you here..
James: hey ann.. did your mom know about this?
ann: well... they're on a vacation..so..
James: (looks at terry) did you ask for her mom's permission?
terry: i have fretzie's..
JAmes: Fretzie is her sister, not her mother.
Terry: so?
James: (clears his throat) ann.. it's better if you stay here..
Terry: whata re you saying? we already planned for this. I have Fretzie's permission.
James: (looks at ann) your mom called me last night. Sorry if I wasn't able to tell you. They will be back this afternoon so it's better for you to stay here so taht we'll welcome them later. They also said that i should be taking care of you. And I won't allow you to go with this stranger.
Terry: (glares ta james) her parents know me.
james: (looks at terry) i know. but for me, you're still a stranger.. I just met you so back off.
Ann: James! Stop it! i don't know what my mom told you but i know she'll understand. I'll be the one to tell her..
James: no.
Ann: JAMES! why are you being like this all of a sudden?!
Terry: (smiles sacrcastically) okay..
ann: argh! TERRY! SERIOUSLY?!
terry: (looks at ann) you're still engaged ann. But don't worry (looks at jameS) I'll get her soon.
James: (scoffs) well (puts his hands on his pockets) let see what you can do (shrugs his shoulders)
Ann: argh! i'm gooing crazy! X(
james: see you when i see you, terry..
terry: (looks at ann) see you LATER..
ann: later?
terry: your parents will be home this afternoon right? I'll be there at your place..(smileS)
ann: oh right! (chuckles) i wonder what would my mom say if she sees you (snorts)
terry: (looks at james) i'll bet they would call the engagement off if they see me (smiles)
ann: (clears her throat) don't joke around..
terry: (smiles) just saying..
ann: (sighs) see you later then..
terry: okay.. (looks at james) bye..
james: BYE.
James' POV:
he's nuts! He's really nuts!
sigh! i really hate this feeling..
Ann: hey! what are you doing again?!
james: i'm just saying the truth. you're mom called me--for real!
ann: then why didn't you let me hang-out with him?
james: (whispers) because i don't want to.
ann: DO YOU LIKE ME?!
WHAT?! XD
HAHAHAH! SHE'S CRAZY! LIKE?! HER?! OH COME ON!
jameS: (laughs)
ann: why are you laughing?
jameS: because you asked a funny question!
ann: funny?!
james: hey (snorts) don't get the wrong idea.. i'm just doing this because of responsibility..
yeah right.. responsibility.. that's the word.
Maybe i was just being overprotective because she's under my responsibilty..
yes james! just responsibilty..
but.. i feel weird...
ann: then why are you mad at him?!
james: because i hate his face. Look, he wantedt o cancel our engagement..
ann: he said that to you?
james: in fact, he wanted us to work together..
ann: (shocked) t..tehn.. what did you say to him?
james: (clears his throat) that.. that I'll help him..
ann: you.. yo will help him?
james: of course! who would want you longer?? sheesh..
ann: then.. then,, you really wanted this to .. (looks down) end??
why am i feeling this way? why am i hesitant to say yes?
james: well.. he wanted it that way..
ann: because he wanted it, you would allow him?
james: (looks away) why not??
ann: you won't feel sad?
james: (swallows hard) why would I ?
ann: you won't be hurt? (teary-eyed)
james: (looks away) I.. I won't be..
ann: are you sure?
james: yes.
ann: then.. I'm not important at all...am i, james?
james: YOU'RE IMPORTANT, OKAY?! (clears his throat) well.. you know.. we've been friends..
ann: friends?
james: what else could it be?
ann: (looks down) well (scoffs) as expected from James Reid..(controld her tears) all you wanted is for me to be your FRIEND..
(Author's note: haaaaayyy.. bestfriends lang ba talaga ang jamli? bat kaya ganun noh? sa mga poppers out there.. you know everything :( nakaksad lang.. pati kasi sa pagsusulat ko dito, naghahari ang pagiging popper ko. pero okay lang! at least ang friendship nagtatagal diba? :( nakakasad nga lang :< )
james: (sighs) let's not talk about this..have you eaten already?
ann: yeah right james.. if walking-out is my talent, yours is changing the topic.. (sighs)
james: maybe, it's better for us to be friends..
