Ann’s POV:

Just great! I’m stuck here in the middle of nowhere.

I was driving my way to the resort when my car suddenly stopped and won’t start. I tried checking the engine but I’m not some kind of hola-god to know what was wrong! The sun was trying its best to cook me here -__________-“ and I smell like some dried fish because of the smoke and heat. I got a little bit dizzy too because I had to cross a sea to get to the island. I was lucky though cause I just had to stay inside my car while we were crossing but still, I got dizzy -_-

Damn. I dressed-up too good for this. WHY! WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE NOW?!

Because of frustration, I grabbed my phone and dialled his number. It was the only way; I had no one to ask for help. The hunkies and babes passing by me didn’t even care to ask if I needed some help.

Sam: hey there, sweetie.

Ann: h..heeeyyy.. Uhm.. there’s this thing..

Sam’s POV:

I was talking to the caretaker when my phone rang. It’s Ann..

Sam: hey there, sweetie.

Ann: h..heeeyyy.. Uhm.. there’s this thing..

Sam: what? What happened?

Ann: My car.. it won’t start and I have no idea how to fix it.

Sam: w..wait.. Are you okay?

Ann: I’m fine. I just feel so hot.

Sam: You are hot (smirks)

Ann: YAH! SAM!

Sam: Okay. Be there right away.

Ann: Okay. I’ll text you the place. I have no idea where I am though. I need to look for landmarks or something. Bye

Sam: bye, sweetheart (chuckles)

James: wow.. You talk as if I am not around.

Sam: (sighs) I was just.. fooling around. (fakes a smile)

James: (clears his throat) so.. Is she okay?

Sam: I guess she is.. (thinks) Can you do me a favour? Can you please talk to the –

Caretaker: excuse me, sir. We need to go to the Tikhonov’s office to confirm that you are staying here.

Sam: oh, uhm.. I really need to go right now..

James: (clears his throat) I’ll get her..

I was shocked. Why would he volunteer to get Ann?

Sam: oh uhm.. y..yeah.. sure..

James: Alright (smiles) Can I have her number?

I was frustrated and furious, but I need to act cool and fine about it..

Whatever his intentions are, I’d fight for her this time.

Sam: (hands the phone) here.
