Charlotte couldn't speak, she was so shocked and she knew if she did her voice would break straight away. How was he here? How was he standing in front of her?
"Lottie." He said one more time and felt how his voice broke. When he saw her he knew he had done the right thing. He knew that he couldn't live without her, so he knew he had to be here.
"Sirius." Charlotte choked out through her tears before she ran over to him right in to his arms. She never wanted to let him go, she never wanted him to leave her arms. She was so scared that she was dreaming, that she would wake up in her bed without him next to her.
"I love you." Sirius said with a voice that broke straight away. He had thought that he would never see her again, and now here he was with the girl he loved in his arms. She whispered the magical words back to him and couldn't stop crying.
"How are you here?" Charlotte asked when she had calmed down a bit. She didn't understand anything, how had he managed to travel here? Not that she was complaining, she was so happy having him in her arms again.
"Dumbledore helped me. He came to me and asked if I wanted to go after you." Sirius smiled at the small girl and he saw the happiness shine in her eyes and he knew his eyes were showing the same thing. Charlotte didn't say anything she just couldn't let herself think that this was true, she were still afraid that she would wake up and realizing everything had been a dream.
"Lottie?" Charlotte and Sirius heard a voice say behind them and almost jumped apart. When they saw who was standing there with a questioning look on his face they both froze, but for different reasons. Sirius felt his mouth open and he looked at the boy in front of him. He looked exactly like the friend he had left behind, but he had Lilys eyes. It was obvious that this was Charlottes twin brother, he looked so much like James that it was scary. Harry froze as well, he recognized the grey eyes that belonged to the boy next to his sister. He didn't know what to think, he could see the man he had known in the boy that was standing in front of him.
"Harry." Charlotte said and dried her tears. She broke the staring contest between the boys in front of her. She saw that Harry recognized Sirius and she saw the shocked look on Sirius face when he saw just how much her brother looked like James.
"Who is he?" Harry asked right away. He didn't like how close his sister standing to the boy. Charlotte took a deep breath, letting her eyes meet Sirius before she answered her brother.
"I think you know who he is." Charlotte said with a small smile. She could see it in his eyes, he saw it just like she had when she met him a few months ago.
"It can't be." Harry said and shook his head, not wanting to believe his sister. Sirius had been someone he had looked up to, someone who was like a father to him, and now he was standing in front of him.
"It's true. Harry this is Sirius Black. Sirius this is my brother Harry." Charlotte said introducing them to each other. Sirius was still a little shocked when he had seen how much Harry looked like James, but he was happy to finally meet Charlottes brother.
"Hi." Sirius said, the first one to pull himself out of his shocked state and smile to the boy in front of him. Harry smiled at Sirius not really knowing what to say.
"Hi." He finally said before he turned to Charlotte. "We need to talk."
"Sure." Charlotte said and turned back to Sirius. "I'll be right back." She placed a kiss on his cheek, letting her lips linger a little to long before pulling back. She didn't want anything more than to kiss him, but she couldn't in front of her brother. Harry grabbed Charlottes arm and pulled her away from Sirius and out from the room.
"Why... How is he here?" Harry asked Charlotte as soon as they were out of earshot. He was so confused why he had found Charlotte in the arms of her godfather.
"I have no idea." Charlotte said with a small smile on her face. She didn't know but she didn't care. She just hoped that he would stay at her side. That he didn't have to go back to his time.
Harry didn't ask anymore questions, he noticed that Charlotte wasn't listening so he let it go, for now. He still couldn't stop thinking about the boy that was now staying with them. He had a hard time believing that the boy really was Sirius, but the more and more time he spent with him it wasn't even a question.
"Hi Harry." Harrys girlfriend said, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Hi Ginny." He said with a smile and greeted her with a kiss. He was so happy that he finally could be together with the girl he loved. He had tried so hard, but it had been to dangerous for her to be close to him. But now that everything was over it wasn't dangerous any more.
"Who's the boy with Lottie? I have never seen her like that." Ginny asked smiling. She had seen how much love Charlotte had in her eyes when she looked at the mystery boy, and she could see that he had the same.
"It's a long story. What do you mean that you never have seen her like that?" Harry asked confused, what did she mean. Ginny couldn't help but to laugh, her boyfriend could be so oblivious sometimes.
"You can't see it?" Ginny knew the answer but she still asked the question.
"What are you talking about?"
"You'll see it soon." Ginny said, just waiting for the time when Harry figured out what she could so clearly see in his sister.
Sirius and Charlotte had spent the last day just catching up. She was still scared about him leaving, but she was also scared about what would happen if he stayed. How would it change history if he stayed here? Sirius had thought the same thing, but he was to scared to say anything about it.
"What happened after you left?" Sirius asked wanting to know about her weeks here. He knew that his life had stopped the day she left. He hadn't done anything, but something told him that she had been through a lot this last few weeks.
"A lot." Charlotte said with a chuckle. She hadn't told him much about her life here. The only thing he knew was basically that she was James and Lilys daughter and that she had a twin brother named Harry. He also knew about his destiny and how he had died.
"And?" Sirius asked, wanting her to elaborate, to tell him more about her. He wanted to know everything about the red headed girl and she smiled at him.
"It's a really long story, and it starts when Harry and I was born." Charlotte said and took a deep breath before she started to tell Sirius her story. It was a long story and she knew it would take a really long time before she was done.
Charlotte was after a few hours getting to the end of her story, the story about the battle.
"When Dumbledore sent me back I blacked out first, but then I woke up in the same place as he sent me from, so I woke up in the headmasters office in the castle. I didn't know what to do, I knew that both my brother and I was wanted and I knew that the death eaters had taken over the castle. So my first thought was to find Neville, I knew he was still there. The only thing was that when I left the room I was met by something I never could even imagine. People were running all over the place and spells were being shot from left and right. I had no idea what was going on so I just ran, trying to find someone I knew.
"It didn't take long before I ran right in to Neville and he told me what was going on. That Voldemort and his death eaters were trying to take over the castle and that my brother was in the great hall. I left Neville there to go find Harry and I did, he was in the great hall just like Neville told me. I was so happy to see him again and he was so shocked. He like everyone else thought I was dead. After jumping on him and then jumping on our friends I don't remember much more. The mediwitch said that it was shock after seeing people that I knew dead."
Sirius had been quiet the whole time Charlotte told her story. He had no idea how much she had gone though in her life. He was surprised that she was still alive and that she wasn't going mad. His heart broke a little when he heard that James and Lily had died young. The thing that made the anger boil inside him was hearing how Peter had betrayed them and how he had taken the fall.
"I'm so sorry." Sirius said pulling Charlotte in for a tight hug. He hated seeing her like this, seeing her so broken. She had gone through so much and she was so strong.
"It's okay." Charlotte said holding on to Sirius. It felt like telling someone else's story when she told Sirius everything she and her brother and been through. Every little obstacle on the way and every time someone tried to kill them.
"I hope everything will be better now, and now I'm here." Sirius said with a smirk, now having pulled out from the hug and keeping eye contact with Charlotte. She couldn't help but to laugh at his comment and he, like always, made her feel a lot better.
"Everything is better when you're here." Charlotte said and now pulled Sirius in for a deep kiss. What she didn't know were the one person that saw them through the door. That person didn't know how to feel, all he knew were that he needed to talk to Charlotte about this. So he waited for them to pull out from the kiss before he made himself known.
"Lottie, I need to talk to you." Harry said with a hard look on his face. Charlotte froze when she saw the look he was giving her and the glare he was giving Sirius. She knew right away that he had seen them kissing.
"Okay." Charlotte said and before she stood up she gave Sirius a short kiss. He kissed back but on the inside he were frozen. He knew that she didn't wanted to tell Harry about them yet, still here she was kissing him in front of him. Harry felt how the anger for the boy grew and the dislike he felt for him grew as well. When Charlotte got close enough Harry grabbed her arm and pulled her in to one of the empty rooms.
"So, talk." Charlotte said, not happy that she had to leave Sirius alone. Harry took a few deep breaths and counted to ten in his head before looking at his sister.
"What are you doing?" Harry asked with the anger slipping through to his voice. He tried to keep it down as much as possible, but it was hard.
"What are you talking about?" Charlotte said playing innocent. She knew exactly what he was talking about, but she also knew that he soon would start yelling at her.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about." Harry said rolling his eyes and crossing his arms in front of his chest. He knew all to well the game she played. She had used it on him a few times to much.
"Fine. I don't see the big deal." Charlotte said and this time it was her turn to roll her eyes. She knew all to well that her brother had a way of over reacting when it came to her and boys. She had seen him doing it so many times before.
"It's Sirius! He is your godfather for crying out loud!" Harry had now raised his voice and Sirius could hear him through the walls.
"You don't understand." Charlotte yelled back and tried to get Harry to listen to her.
"Then explain! Please explain why I just saw my sister kissing her godfather! Explain to me why I saw her kissing the person that was best friend with our father!" Both Sirius and Ginny could hear all the words that were exchanged between the twins.
"Because I love him!" Charlotte yelled and she saw how Harry froze and Charlotte dried the tears she didn't even knew had started to run down her cheeks before leaving him alone in the room.
