I have been waiting, all day, for the moon to rise, waiting for my guardian to come. Just as he promised me. But, it's close to midnight, and he hasn't visited yet.
I was huddled to my bed, tears pooling around my eyes as I frowned,"we made a pinky promise.." I bit my lip, trying to hold my tears back.
But, then, there was a large shadow, just like someone had been flying past.. Without hesitation, I rushed to the window, opening it up. An instant swoop of cold air had me shivering, but my eyes were glued to someone in front of me.
"Hey, little girl.."
"You came!" I squealed as he patted my head softly, smiling.
I smiled back and made grabbing motion, urging him to lift me up. He came inside my room, lifting me up before twirling me around. I shouted and giggled as I hugged his neck.
"What's your name?"
He grinned, "you can call me Yoongi."
I nodded. He sat down on my bed with me on his lap.
"But I want to call you, Suga!" I smile happily and he chuckled.
"Suga? Why Suga?"
"Because you're pale like paper, and you're so sweet; like sugar. Don't you like it?" I played with my sweater paw shyly.
"I love it sweetheart. Now, let me tell you bed time story."
"But I want to play!"
"It's past midnight. It's time for you to sleep."
"But, I don't want to."
"A good girl sleeps early. Are you a good girl or bad girl?"
"I'm a good girl!"
"So what does a good girl do?"
"Sleep early.." He tells me a bed time story and I feel my eyes start to become heavy.
I lean my head to his chest, feeling the warmth from his body. Then, without knowing, I'm already in a dream state.
"I will forever protect you."
