The Final Season

(JJ's POV)

It's been weeks since Jake was here, and we haven't spoken since. There are good days, and then there are bad. Pep assemblies, football games, and family nights, those are the hard days. The days I wish he was still in my life. Our relationship was getting more and more unhealthy, but part of me couldn't erase him from my life. I just couldn't do it.

It's Halloween this weekend and it feels like this year has just flown by. Schools keep contacting me with offers and scholarships, and I've turned each of them down. I try to move on, but I just can't. Tom tries to help me through it because he understands more than anyone, but he is the one who has to go back to Jake every week and room with him. They're still best friends, and I wouldn't want to live knowing I broke that up if anything else happened.

Tom's coming home this weekend. My mom and Aunt Gen are planning a big Halloween party for all of our family friends, and our Dad's are even coming home for it. They announced a few weeks ago that this will be the final season of Supernatural, and the season premiere starts Halloween night. My dad wanted to be home with us for the last one.

We have a lot of our supernatural family coming home this weekend with Dad and Uncle Jared. Our friend Kim, who plays Jodie Mills on the show, is joining us. She hasn't been on the show in years, but she loves my Dad and Uncle Jared. She's been to a lot of our family events and I've been looking forward to seeing her. She's bringing Katy, who played Claire on the show, with her too. So many more are joining us this weekend, and I can't wait to see them. Being in the family that I'm in, I've pretty much secluded myself from a social life. I don't spend a ton of time with people at school, and have pretty much stuck to just Hallie. But it's a good life. Our Supernatural family is greater than anything I could ever hope for.

Part of me wanted to call Tom to see if Jake wanted to come, but I've been having a hard time picking up the phone. I love Jake, I love him so much, but part of me keeps going back and forth on what to do.

I decided to just shake off my indecisive problem, and I walked into the kitchen to see if my mom needed any help setting up for the party tomorrow night.

"I think we've got all the plans finalized, we just need to run to the store to pick up a few things." My mom looked to Aunt Gen, "Gee, why don't you and Jay run to the store to pick up these last few things," she handed her a list as Gen grabbed her purse.

"Absolutely! I kind of wanted some time with my Jay anyway." Odette and Arrow were sitting in the dining room working on a school project together. "Girls, JJ and I are running to the store, will you help Dannee when you've finished with your project?"

"Sure mom." Odette smiled, and continued to color on the poster she had been working on.

"Oh, can you bring us back some pumpkin latte's from Starbucks?" Arrow begged.

"We'll see." Gen smirked, "Depends on how hard you work on that project." She walked out the front door and I followed.

It was kind of cold, which was weird because it was October and we lived in Texas, so Gen and I both grabbed our Jackets. "Okay, so this list that your mom gave me is mostly just some groceries so let's run to Walmart first, and then we will head to the Party Store for the last minute decor she wanted."

"Sounds good to me!" I smiled and got in her car.

She successfully made it out of the driveway before asking me about Jake. "Soooo- how are things with Jake?"

"Ha! You haven't even left the house and had to bring that up?" I laughed.

"Hey," She said defensively. "I've tried staying out of everything but I just can't anymore! Tom called last night and asked about you."

"Oh?"

"Yeah, he said that Jake, without fail, every night picks up his phone and dials your number and just can't get himself to hit call."

"Oh..."

"He misses you Jay. I think you two are better together than apart."

"Well I don't know what to think anymore."

I could tell that she didn't want to ruin the mood of our 'girls trip,' "Why don't we go get some pumpkin latte's. I've been craving one ever since Odette mentioned them."

"Sure." I smiled, glad she had changed the subject.

We had found everything on mom's list in about two hours and and were home shortly after picking up the latte's for everyone.

By six o'clock I heard the front door open and could hear my dad and Jared walking in. "Hello my beautiful family!" We heard Jared yell as he threw his bags on the ground. I ran to the front door and jumped into my dad's arms.

"DAD!! You're home!" He hugged me so tight. It had been almost a month since the last time I had seen him. He and Uncle Jared brought Misha, both Rob and Richard, and of course Mark. Mark left the show when I was only four years old, but he's stayed in the family since then. He comes for a ton of our family outings. I was so excited to have the whole crew here. Misha's family was supposed to fly in tomorrow and be here for the party too. We were expecting Kim and Katy tomorrow morning too, as well as Osric and Jeff Morgan.

Everyone settled in and Misha took his things to the boat house where he and his family would be staying. Everyone else took their things to a guest room, and my mom and dad snuck off to their bedroom.

Uncle Jared walked into the room, "Hey sis!" He said giving me a big hug. "How's life been?" He and I had gotten a lot closer over the last few months. I would text him everyday, and he facetimed me every night with my dad. He was by far my favorite Uncle, but don't tell my other Uncles I said that...

"It's been going good. Fast, but good."

"You liking your senior year?"

"Yeah. It's been different, like unlike the others, but it's been okay."

"Have you been talking to Jake at all?"

"Jared!" Gen yelled. "Really?" She had her hands opened out and was trying to stop him from continuing the conversation.

"What? I can't talk to my niece?" He said defensively.

"Really, it's okay Gen. He's just wondering. And it's not his fault, I haven't said a word to him or my dad about the whole thing since Jake left."

"So he left?" Jared asked.

"Well not technically. He wanted me to forgive him, and I just couldn't. So after he tried one last time to get me to, he just left. I haven't talked to him since."

"Yeah, Tom called me that night and told me all about it. I'm sorry Jay. I didn't call because I didn't want to make things worse."

"Oh no, you're totally okay. I didn't even talk to my dad about it for almost a week. I had my mom and Aunt Gen here. I was okay, I just needed things to settle in."

We continued to talk about things for about an hour when my dad walked in with six pizzas. "Holy crap dude? That many pizzas?" Jared asked.

"Dude, I'm starving." My dad argued, "And it's on me. I've got this one. Plus, dude, cold pizza." He smirked.

"You're disgusting." Jared laughed, taking a slice out of the box for himself. Everyone found their way to the kitchen and started eating. In all of the commotion we barely heard Tom walk in the door.

"Hey guys!" He came in and hugged Gen, then Jared. "Gosh I'm starving. That was a long drive." He grabbed a piece of pizza and then came to sit by me. "What's up sis?"

"Nothing, we've just been getting ready for the party all day. What about you?"

"I had a few classes, and then I drove straight here. Gawwh this pizza is freaking amazing."

"Should I leave the two of you alone?" I couldn't help but laugh.

"Ha ha..." He complained, "No, but can you do me a favor?"

"Sure."

"Can you run out to my truck and grab my bag and phone? I'm going to get some more pizza."

"Ha! I guess. I'll get some food in a sec, and will go grab that."

He smirked and I couldn't tell what he was thinking about. Quite frankly, it freaked me out. It was dark outside now, and I walked to his truck to grab his bag. I opened the truck bed and grabbed his things. When I shut the bed, I went to the drivers side door to get his phone. When I opened the door I was completely shocked to see what was in front of me, and I dropped his bad.

"Hey Jay...."

Sorry this part was super boring... But the next chapter is going to be SO GOOD! Well, hopefully you will think so! I'm already starting it, and it should be up later tonight! Thank you for reading loves!!!
