Back To School
Turning off my alarm I️ rolled over pushing my covers off my warm body. I️ slid on my socks getting out the bed going into the bathroom. On my way to the bathroom I️ made sure to not wake Ivoree. Turning on the shower I️ closed the door and began to wash my face. I️ brushed my teeth and moisturized my face before getting into the shower washing my body.
Grabbing my towel I️ stepped out and opened the door to let out some steam. Once the steam was no longer on the mirror I️ closed the door and began to get dressed. Today I️ wasn't really feeling a makeup look so I️ just took out my flexi rods and combed through my hair a little. My outfit was a comfy but cute look. Going back into the room it was now 10:10 and my class was for 10:45. Ivoree's Class was for 11 so I️ woke her up before leaving. I️ hopped in my car and drove to Starbucks to get my morning iced caramel latte.
After paying I️ grabbed my drink and sped to Chic fil a to get a breakfast sandwich. Making it back on campus it was around 10:30 so I️ had a little time to eat. After eating my breakfast quickly I️ hopped out and grabbed my drink, bag and laptop going to my class.
4 hours Later
Getting out of my two classes I️ was done for the day. I️ walked to my car driving to my dorm. Grabbing my trash I️ threw it in a nearby trash can and went up to my room.
I️ changed into my gym clothes and grabbed a bottle of water walking to the gym. On my way there Chris stopped me.
"Wassup where you about to go" He asked
"The gym" I️ Said
"Oh well I️ gotta talk to you so could you maybe come by later once you done" He Said
"Alright" I️ said walking off
Chris POV
I️ have been thinking and I'm going to listen to what Ivoree told me and imma just chill and give her a break. But I️ still want to be close to her so imma talk to her about being friends or even best friends so we can work our way up to what we use to be.. if we can.
Dani POV
I️ had just got out the gym and I️ was now going home to shower and change.
"Yo Dani" I️ heard someone yell before hearing footsteps slowly approaching
I️ turned around and it was Yazz.
"Hey Yazz" I️ said chuckling shaking my head
"Wassup" He smiled
"Look let me get your number.. I️ been thinking and I️ wanna take you out" He Said
"Yazz I️ don't know about that" I️ said thinking
"Look I️ can treat you better then he ever could" he said grabbing my hand
"Yazz" I Said
"Come on.. just one date" he said
"Alright Yazz one date" I️ Said giving in
"See you know you wanted to" He said smiling
We exchanged numbers and I️ continued to make my way to my dorm.
When I made it back Ivoree was here by now
"Hey Girl" Ivoree Said
"Bitch guess what" I️ said taking off my shoes
"What" She said
"Yazz tryna take me out and got my number girl and your brother wanna talk so I️ gotta go over there talk to him" I️ Said
"Yazz finally making moves huh" She said laughing
"And I️ wonder what he wanna talk to you about" She added
"Ion know but I️ guess I'll see once I️ take this shower" I️ Said
I️ grabbed some clothes and went to the bathroom taking a quick shower.
Sliding on my shoes I said goodbye to Ivoree before walking to my car hopping in. I drove over to the boys dorm and texted him I was outside. Within 3 minutes he was walking out the building doors.
I got out my car grabbing my phone and closing the door.
"Wassup" He said hugging me
"Hey" I said hugging him back
We walking into the building and I followed behind him
"Aug up here" I said as we walked down the hallway
"Yeah but him and Ree bout to go out"
"Oh ok"
We walked into the room and August was standing in the mirror
"Hey bro" I said hugging him
"Wassup sis" he said
"You smell good" I Said
"That's dat polo girl" he said
"This my baby favorite" he added
"So what y'all doing tonight" I asked
"We going on a li date and out to eat" he said
"Aww that's cute.. can't relate" I Said
"Sis don't start" he said chuckling
"I ain't.. I just can't" I said chuckling
"Mannn" Chris said
"Ight y'all I'm gon I'm bout to go scoop Ivoree up" Aug said
"Bro you gon be waiting fa a li minute she wasn't even dressed when I left" I said laughing
"Bruh I told this girl to start getting dressed 3 hours ago" he said
"Welp you know my Best friend"I said laughing
"Alright bruh" He Said dapping chris up
"Bye sis" he said hugging me
"Bye" I Said
I laid across Chris bed and he came and sat at the end
"So whatchu wanted to talk about" I Said
"Well I called you over here because I feel like it's just Best for us to try and build our relationship back up" he began
"Mhmm" I Said
"And the first step to doing that is with friendship so I want us to get that bond back and start off as friends or shit even best friends.. depending on how you feeling"
"But I just think it's best for me to give you the space you need so you can make your decision.. I don't want to force our relationship i want our shit to last and for it to last I'm ok with taking a step back"
"Now what you think?" He said looking at me
"I agree I think we both need space to grow but we can still be close and yes building a friendship is the best way to start our relationship over"
"So we can be best friends"I said chuckling
"Ight coo" He said chuckling
"I can get a hug still tho right?" He Said
"Of course" I said hugging him
