(A/N ~~~Mary went off to serve in the army)
"Hi are you the Friends and Family of Sam Winchester?"the Doctor asked
"Y-yea..."Dean responded
"We believe he will be fine ok?"
"Ok! Anything else?"
"It might be a few days before he wakes up, and once he does he will need to stay a few days after...now our policy is if there's a debate on who stays then if they are married or engaged then whoever they are married or engaged to stays if they aren't married or engaged then a parent will stay if there aren't any parents present then a sibling should stay...so is Mr.Winchester Married or Engaged?"
"N-" I got cut off by Dean
"Yes he's engaged"
"Is his Fiancé present?"
"Yes!"he said gesturing to me
"Ok he is in room 1967 you can all stay until visiting hours are over them only one can stay..."
We all walked into the room before talking again
"Dean why did you tell him I was Sam's fiancé?"
"Well first of all Cas and I should head back home we can't leave John to take care of two infants for more than a hour or two...and...well...I think Sam should tell you the other reason himself..."
"John?! Newborns?! What did I miss?"
"Cas and I got married and adopted a teen named John and twins who are still infants"
"Wow! Congrats...maybe you could bring them tomorrow? Ya'know so I could meet them? I understand if you say no I'm a horrible example..."
"Gabriel we all love you! Ok? You're amazing! And don't worry we will bring them with us tomorrow!"
"K thanks! Well goodnight!"
Michael,Lucifer and Chuck stayed until they had to leave
After they left I just looked at Sam...not creepily just concerned
I was sitting in the chair next to the bed holding his hand "Hey Samshine...I'm sorry...for everything...I shouldn't have crashed your wedding I should've just shown up at your...wherever you and Ruby had been living...instead I crashed the wedding and now you're here...in the hospital...I'm sorry for everything..."I had started to cry because I knew I had messed up but I continued "I don't know if you can hear me...but when you wake up I'll tell you this again...Sam if you want me to leave I'll go...and I promise you can live your life and you won't ever hear from me again..I love you Sammy....but I'll leave if that is what makes you happy..."I closed my eyes and pulled my hands up to wipe away the tears but when I started to pull the hand that had been holding Sam's I felt Sam's grip tighten...I wasn't going to open my eyes I couldn't risk opening them to see Sam still asleep
"Gabriel...I'm awake...you can open your eyes"
I slowly opened my eyes to see Sam looking back at me
"D-did you hear all that...?"
"I heard every last word...and Gabriel I don't care what it takes to keep you here...ok? If I have to lock you up...then I will! But I won't lose you again ok!?"
"Sammy are you ok?"
"No Gabriel...do you want to know why I came to your house the night you left?"
"I have actually been wondering about that since the day I left...so sure"
"I came to propose..."
"S-w-what? Why?"
"Because Gabriel,I love you...always have always will...we may have rushed in but every time I so much as look at you I feel like I'm falling in love all over again..when you left I was so depressed it looked like I had just found out I had cancer and only had a month left to live...this is not how I expected to pop the question and I don't even have the ring with me but...Gabriel Novak will you Marry Me?...."he was barely holding back tears himself meanwhile on my side of the story if someone walked by they would assume someone had died because there were tears EVERYWHERE
"Y-y...no..."I said obviously disappointed
"Oh...ok..then..."
"Sam-"
"If you didn't want to spend your life with me I don't understand why you crashed the wedding..."he responded obviously hurt
"Let me explain..."
"Ok..."
"I want to say yes...I want to say yes more than I've ever wanted to do anything in my entire life...well other than spend the rest of the my life with you...the point is is that I won't say yes because you deserve so much more than me..."
"Gabriel if anyone deserves more it's you...you've been through so much and I wish I could tell you to move on from me but I honestly can't live without you...Gabriel...please..."he said giving me the sad puppy eyes...
"S-Sammy...I don't deserve you..ok? Just please stop making this harder on me ok?"
Instead of responding he just pulled me into the kiss
Of course I melted into it...not helping my case but Sam knew that this would happen...
"Please...."he asked his final attempt
"I hate you.." I said kissing him again
"Was that a yes...?"
"No! I'm going to murder you..."I said sarcastically "of course that's a yes!"
"Thank God..."he said smiling before placing his hand on a spot in the bed next to him"Can you sleep here?"
"Of course!" And with that I lied down next to him resting my head on his chest "I love you"
"I love you too..."
And with that we both fell asleep in each other's arms and we were happier than we had been in a long time...
~time skip~
I woke up not bothering to sit up because I could feel Sam's arms around me
When I opened my eyes I realized we had visitors but they were in the hallway
"Sammy..."
"Mmmm....? Gabriel what do you want?"
"We have visitors..."
"Mmmm.....ok" he responded sitting up "Come in!"
Everyone rushed in after things calmed down I actually started talking to John while playing with Rose and Maya and they were soooo cute!!!!
The only thing that was bugging me was Sam just kept distracting me by kissing me in the least convenient moments...I would never admit it but I liked it... then again I liked every touch and every word from Sam because I had gone so long without him around....
That's when a shriek went through the room
"Sammy!!!"
Dean and Cas freaked
But it was understandable considering it was Rose's first word
A few minutes later though another shriek went through the room
"Daddy!!"followed by giggles
And we were thankful that we were in a hospital because for a moment we were so worried Dean and Cas were going to have a heart attack because that was Maya's first word as well
After Dean and Cas had calmed down Dean's phone went off
"Excuse me for a minute" he said standing up and walking into the hallway to take the call luckily we could still hear what he was saying
"Yes This is Dean Winchester...Yes I'm related to Mary Winchester...how? I'm her Son...what do you mean there were complications?....oh...uh...yea I can share the news with my family...ThankYou...you too"
He came back in looking completely broken
"Honey, you ok?"Cas asked
Cas' POV
Dean just looked up at me
He's had tears in his eyes and my heart broke...
Right then and there he started crying
"Dean..."I said giving him a hug"what's wrong? Who was that?is it about John?"
He looked up at me"M-mom she...she's-"he couldn't finish because he was crying to hard but we had all figured it out...
Sam had started to cry as well....it was going to be a long and sad day...
~1week later~
Sam's POV
Dean stood up by the gravestone to say his speech then it was my turn then Dad's
John was aloud to come to the funeral because Our Mom was well...his wife
"My mother was an amazing person! The most beautiful and kind woman I've ever met...She was the first one to know about My relationship with Cas other than Sam,Gabriel,and Charlie...and she accepted me,Cas,Sam,Gabriel,Charlie,John and Sherlock"he said that looking over at the two of them holding hands before continuing"there aren't even words to explain the type of person she was...Rest in Peace Mom..."he finished starting to cry
I walked up to where we were all giving our speeches and began "when I was twelve I realized I was bi...I had needed to tell someone...I thought Dean wouldn't accept me...and I knew John would disapprove so the only one left was my mother...I remember it like I just finished the conversation. I walked into her bedroom after school where she had been reading a book, my heart had been beating a million miles per hour...and I told her and she wasn't even fazed instead she told me congratulations on figuring it out myself and accepting it...like Dean said she was an amazing person. And...in her honor I want to say something to John...Dad...I know you hate me...but at least try to be nice...just for today...for her?"
"Why should I?"
"Nevermind...Mom...we miss you but we hope you're happy where you are...Love you..." I walked back to Gabriel after finishing accidentally bumping into John as he was walking up
"My Wife was an amazing and beautiful woman...her only mistake was you two"he said glaring at Dean and I before continuing "I hope she's happy...I love you Mary..."
After the funeral was over everyone was tired and in a bad mood so we all just went home
Gabriel and I got a apartment we hadn't fully unpacked but we were ok...
We fell asleep that night in each other's arms after the long, hard, emotional day...
The next morning I woke up to my phone going off
I carefully moved away from Gabriel and answered the phone once I walked into the other room
"Hey Sammy..."
"Dean what's up...?"
"The army called...they needed people to take the places of those who died in the explosion that killed mom...I'm leaving the day after you and Gabriel's wedding...Sammy I need you to do me two favors ok? 1 if I don't come back...and you and Gabriel start a family's make sure your children know about me and 2 no matter what happens don't join...I can't have you risk your life ok?"
"Dean...have you told Cas and John yet?"
"I'm telling them tonight ok?"
"Ok...be careful ok?"
"I'm not leaving right now I'll see you before I leave"
"I know I just want to tell you now anyways ok?"
"Ok..."
I hung up after say bye and went and sat down in the living room to think...after about thirty minutes Gabriel came out of our bedroom and came and sat down with me
"Sam..."
"Hmmm?"
"What's wrong?"
"Dean is joining the army..."
"What?!"
"Yea..."
"Wow...lazy Movie day?"
"Definitely..."
"Okay..."
We spent the rest of our day on the couch watching movie after movie,while eating popcorn but most importantly together in each other's arms
We didn't leave each other's side but we didn't talk much either...which was surprising with Gabriel...
Until,eventually he broke the silence
"Sam...are you going to leave me?"
"No...why would you ask that?"
"Because Dean is leaving so I was wondering if you were going with him..."
"Gabriel I love you! And I won't ever leave unless you want me to ok?!"
"Ok..."and with that we shared a soft kiss before going back to our silence
After we finished that move we went and lied down together
"Goodnight Gabriel I love you..."
"Love you too..goodnight Samsquatch..."
And like that we fell asleep in each other's arms
