Life has never been the same since I passed high school.Who am I kidding?Nothing changed anyway *yawns*.
I'm Hazel Rose Vanderbilt; the youngest child of Dylan and Avalon Vanderbilt and you know what??I am the twin of my own mother.
Surprising right?
My mom still looks so young at 50 and Dad at 51 looks like some senior model.I've been blessed in the looks department anyway*shrugs*
Today is my 24th birthday and I might or might not be excited about it be cause I have an announcement to make.
I just hope it goes right.
I don't want to end up in the mental asylum if my parents and siblings go crazy and then make me go nuts after freaking out.
And now that I think about it;I have a call to make.
A very important call indeed.
The person on the other side picks up my phone at the sixth ring.Slow poke!
"Are you ready?" My voice sounds as a squeaky mouse.
"I am.Are you?"
"I am anyway.Be here by 9pm.Sharp.I don't want to cut the cake after midnight."
"I am never late.That's your thing.Good bye and take care of our little secret."
The line went dead.
I gathered my messy long unusual but natural very red hair that I love very much on a side and stretched like a cat.
I looked at myself in the mirror.The green in my eyes popped out my fiery red colored hair indeed.I really do love myself so much.
God,I sound so creepy.
I looked around to see my room already filled with gifts and bouquets. All from my crazy family as usual.God my parents treat me like a newborn.And Jerry and Jason;my elder twin brothers are like body guards while my brother Declan is an asshole.We share a love-hate relationship; Ignore the fact that there's a thin line between love and hate BECAUSE we make sure to kill each in our dreams right on that line.
I think my sister Zoe is the only sane anti-crazy person in this house hold;considering her profession as a child counsellor.
But she's so cool.My sister is my best best best friend ever and well of course there's Sienna too.She will bite me to pieces when she finds put I hid something as this from her too.
Sienna and me go way back;our parents are best friends so we became best friends and that girl is really the most idiotic but lovely person ever to come across me.
Then there's my ex-ex-crush Ben.
Do you guys know just how much am I in hate with that guy now;he's such a smug Caterpillar.That person said that I'm not marriage material.

Benny boy is going to be shocked to his cowardly wits end today. I grin like a maniac while looking in the mirror. Oh no,I look like a creepster.
Bad Hazel. If I behave like this I'm sure my precious secret's related human being will leave me to myself and my misery.
"Happy Birthday Sweetie."
I rolled my eyes.
Mom and Dad stood grinning at my door with yet another gift in their hands.
Wow.
"How many times are you guys gonna wish me?"
My dad just grinned and pecked my for head.
"My little princess turned twenty four today so I guess just as many times as your age."
"And your Daddy is absolutely right baby. I can't believe my littlest baby is already twenty-four.Next thing I know is my baby is having a baby."
Mom said as she side hugged me.
I gulped.
Maybe sooner than she thinks.
"Aha,Ava stop it.Our baby girl is still little.Stop breaking me by saying these things."
Dad sure is extra protective over the girls in our family.Be it me,Zoe,mom or aunt Rachael.
"You said that for Rach too hubby.Now she has a five year old son who is your messenger when Rach gets mad at you for being nosy.I swear your overprotective persona disturbs me to no end."
Mom face palmed.
"But you still love me Darling."
"That I do."
They gave each other a long kiss.I groaned.
As much as I love to find out that my parents are way too much in love and are each others soulmates; I like any normal off-spring gets the eww feeling in my tummy;which BTW is weird but it can't be helped.
"Get a room guys."
"Ah it was just a kiss kiddo. And getting a room;of course we will."
"Dylan!!."
Mom scolded him but I can see the humour in her eyes.
"All right guys I love you too and Thank you.Now please hand over my gift so I can get ready for my party."
They just smiled and kissed my for head AGAIN before leaving me to myself.
I have to look stunning today.Zoe will be coming with her colleague slash husband and of course Sienna will get google eyed after seeing Jerry with another of his new conquests..she's hope lessly in love with my moronic big brother.
Crazy grandmothers and aunts and cousins..gonna be a huge occasion.
And of course my favourite person of all time Cody too.I'm sure if I screw this up;he will handle my mess.
He has to anyway or aunt Rachael will smack him and make him sleep on the couch for so many weeks till he begs for sex.
Oh did I mention Cody is Aunt Rachel's husband AND my partner in crime.
(Guys remember Cody;the cutie baby boy that makes his brief appearance in Amber's baby shower in LOP..he's gonna play a very important character in the story as I mentioned in Love On Purpose)
Oh god,I have to get ready.Damn I am wasting precious time.I have to wear some long dress that hides my secret well;at least till I cut the cake.
God I hope it goes well and the males in my family don't go crazy hornbills and start pecking me and my *a very important but snarky human being*.
Not now.Not again.
I ran to the bathroom and puked my guts out.I swear I have panda eyes with all the amount of puking I have been doing recently.
Now I feel tired.I groaned and lied on my bed.How am I supposed to get ready now.
I rang my sister.
"Zoe.Please come and help me."
"More puking?"
She asked softly.
"What do you think?I can't even breath and do you know I look so horrible."
More tears.Great.I hate crying and that's what I have been doing during this crazy hormonal period.
"Stop being melo dramatic. We are already coming.Just twenty minutes more."
Her husband Sam shouted from the other side.
"Zoe tell your useless husband to stop teasing me or you guys won't be able to reproduce."
"I heard that."
It was Sam again.
"Get lost dude.Man,I need my big sister."
"Give me the phone Sam."
Zoe much have snatched the phone from him because I heard groaning.
He loves to tease me.I swear I am surrounded by the world's mental male population.
I just hope to survive one more of that category really soon...for a lifetime;I guess.
"We will be there soon Haze. Don't stress yourself and rest.As soon as I'm there; I'll help you get ready and you will look the prettiest.Now relax and don't stress yourself. It's not good for you especially when you are.."
She stopped.
Thank god she did.It's only her that knows about my little secret situated. Sam doesn't know. No one does.Me,Zoe and a person and of course the hospital people know.
"Okay Zoe.Bye.Come ASAP."
I cut the phone and closed my eyes.
My hands wandered to a certain part of my body and a smile made a way to my face.
But it got wiped out in just the next moment because I have to rush to the bathroom again for emptying my stomach.
Geez,I just can't catch a break.
After I came out my phone rang.Just not the person I need to talk to.
"I will be coming with my family."
"OK.It's good anyway."
I am nervous but yeah IT is better.Who knew he had brains..well duh.I did.Smartest yet the most sarcastic human being I know.
"Have you been puking?"
"Of course I am.I want to run for the hills."
"I can almost see you imagining about how nasty you look now."
He snickered.
"Shut up."
I disconnected the call and buried my face in my pillow to have my beauty sleep again.
